About

Singer/songwriter Tyler Farr is in the midst of earning his country music chops. Inspired as a growing teenager by his stepfather, a former guitarist for the late country legend George Jones, the Missouri native relocated to Nashville to try his hand at breaking into the business. And it’s working. After just a few months earning his keep as security at the city’s iconic honky-tonk Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge, the young musician segued into regular concerts on the club’s stage, and nowadays onto the tour trail opening for the likes of Jason Aldean.

Farr’s raspy Southern accent complements his true country songwriting, which makes up more than half of his debut studio set, “Redneck Crazy.” And when he’s not performing for ticket holders on a club and theater trek, he’s writing tracks for Colt Ford (“Hey Y’all”) and Joe Nichols (“She’s Just Like That”), as well as co-writing with established country performer Rhett Akins.

  • Terrible sound

by Nicole on 5/25/25Lori's Road House - West ChesterRating: 1 out of 5

Cool place, love Tyler Farr, but all we could hear was bass couldn’t hear anything he was singing or saying…left after a few songs

  • Underwhelmed with 17 minutes

by Jill on 5/21/25Exit 33 - Turning Stone: The Gig, Tin Rooster & Turquoise Tiger - VeronaRating: 3 out of 5

Show starts at 10, Tyler Farr doesn't come on until just after midnight and plays for exactly 17 minutes!! Mind blown....17 minutes. Was he good, sure, was the ticket worth $20 to listen to a DJ and see the person that we paid to see for a whole 17 minutes....not even!! Very disappointed.

  • short

We waited 2 hours for him to show up at midnight, play 4 songs in 15 minutes, and walk off the stage to not return.

  • Was it a concert or a tuneup?

by Outdoors on 7/8/24Penn's Peak - Jim ThorpeRating: 1 out of 5

I drove almost three hours each way for a show that was only 75 minutes . What a joke!!! Last Tyler Farr concert for me.

  • Needs Supervision!!

    by CountryFan1 on 7/8/24Penn's Peak - Jim ThorpeRating: 3 out of 5

Tyler Farr was an amazing singer and put on a spectacular show!! Penn’s Peak needs improvement on keeping fans at there purchased assigned seats. I purchased 4 front row seats for my wife, myself and my two daughters. This was their 1st concert and I wanted it to be memorable. Unfortunately, fans from the back came up to the front and completely blocked our view!! We spent our hard earned money to get front row seating. Penn’s Peak needs to better supervise people or they will lose customers.

  • Too short

by Melissa on 7/8/24Penn's Peak - Jim ThorpeRating: 3 out of 5

Great artist who didn’t play long enough. He had more popular songs that could have made the show last longer than an hour.
