About

Tyler Childers is carving his own path in country music. Following the success of his 2017 breakout album Purgatory, the Kentucky-born singer-songwriter has earned 11 career Grammy nominations across folk, Americana, and country categories. Childers' 2025 release, Snipe Hunter, marked his seventh studio album; across the record, he weaves Appalachian storytelling with elements of rock and gospel. Childers remains connected to his Appalachian roots through his Hickman Holler Appalachian Relief Fund, which he established in 2020 with his wife, singer-songwriter Senora May, to bring awareness and financial support to vulnerable communities.

  • Much more of a production than I was expecting...

    by Big J on 4/13/24BOK Center - TulsaRating: 5 out of 5

First and foremost, I love Tyler Childers' music. I was expecting a night of amazing bluegrass/country/americana music and I got that. What I also got was a full night of an amazing entertaining production. A huge video screen that had perfectly matched videos, spotlights of the band member solos, and a set that was perfect. Seriously, over the top, totally unexpected perfection. I had an amazing time at BOK Center in Tulsa with my family. I now really want to see him again!! And, if you see this, Tyler... Tell Sturgill to start touring... PLEASE!! Thank you!

  • Awesome set!

Played a bunch of his old stuff which was what we wanted

  • Good music but a little loud

by Somewhere between born and dead on 4/13/24Moody Center ATX - AustinRating: 4 out of 5

First time to the Moody Center but 1 escalator? That would have been ok if both went down at end of show. Tyler Childers put on a good show but it was unnecessarily LOUD! The fiddle jams got painful after a few minutes at that level. Thought his stage background was entertaining though. If he was to read this he might find it interesting to know that my grandfather was born at Whitehouse. Went on to die in true Kentucky style of black lung outside Inez. Beer was reasonable for location. I don't know if it's policy or he was just trying to give good service but the guy at the beer stand opened my water and kept the top which I dont like others hands on my bottle and I like to reseal after drinks. Maybe somewhat petty gripes but you asked.

  • Awesome!

  • Great concert

by Bianca on 4/13/24Moody Center ATX - AustinRating: 4 out of 5

Tyler put on a great concert! We had great time and the venue was perfect! The only down side (reason for 4 stars) I was not able to transfer my brother his tickets so I had to walk with him to his section to verify his seating.
