About

Born just outside of Austin, Texas, Ty grew up on a cattle ranch owned by his family for more than six generations. He clung on to music as a kid and never let go, obsessing over an expansive range of artists like Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix, Bill Withers, and Otis Redding to Chris Stapleton and George Strait.

Devoting every waking minute to writing songs and playing music, he gave up baseball and football and opted for homeschooling in order to wholeheartedly pursue his dream. During 2023, he made waves with his debut single Tie That Binds, gaining traction organically and generating over 11 million Spotify streams. On its heels, Drinkin Alone exploded with over 26 million Spotify streams and counting. Between packing houses in his home state and sharing the stage with Willie Nelson, he has performedcountless sold out shows across the states and wrapped up dates on Wade Bowen and Randy Rogers Bands Hold My Beer Tour before embarking on his headline run.

  • Good... but problems

    by Jason H. on 11/4/25The Anthem - WashingtonRating: 3 out of 5

Overall, the show was good. However, there were some organizational control problems that resulted in a interrupted and broken experience. While it is not the venue's responsibility to control who buys tickets, I do feel they are responsible for monitoring the welfare of the overall crowd. In this instance. They needed to provide more crowd control and prevent the chaos. That was causing repeated young people to pass out in the front part of the crowd. And resulted in Ty Meyers Stopping the show almost a dozen times. While I applaud his efforts for looking out for the welfare of tge concertgoers and as a parent appreciate his compassion, but as a patron, it is a bit frustrating to have the show stoppped So many times. Additionally, while I will give the performer a bit of a pass, Because he is new to the game and still a teenager. Having to stop the show or put it in neutral, to change out guitars Almost a dozen times, it was also a little bit Frustrating.

  • Great Artist, disappointing venue

by concrtjunki on 11/4/25The Anthem - WashingtonRating: 4 out of 5

Ty Myers had to stop mid-song multiple times because of people passing out in thr standing room only area. It was very distracting and took away from the song and made the end of the concert feel rushed. Left the concert feeling jipped of a good experience but of no fault of his own. This venue needs to figure out a better process of ventilation and getting waters to people on the floor.

  • Amazing

My 16-year-old daughter and niece convinced my sister and I to take them to Ty Myers. We had never heard of him, but we’re so glad they have. He was amazing and we would definitely see him again.

  • Ty: Great, Venue: Awful

by Claire on 2/18/25The Senate - ColumbiaRating: 3 out of 5

It was an awful concert venue. Do not attend if you don't need to. Security was hostile and watched people cut the line outside before the show started and did absolutely nothing. Yelled at us to back up, but there was no room to move. Over three people passed out during the concert, and it was HOT in there even without the body heat. I felt it as soon as I went inside the venue. They also decided to split the line 10 minutes before doors opened, leading to an unfair advantage of people who did not wait as long as others to move to the front. I will never return after this terrible experience and will not be recommending it to others. ty myers was amazing though, loved him.
