    Twist and Shout was outstanding

by haguil1 on 11/5/12Desert Diamond Casino - Sahuarita

We had a wonderful experience! "John Lennon" was from Huntington Beach, my home town. And "Paul" was fromTucson.... better still. They were 97% spot on in their sound and their music. I would very much like to know what the surviving Beatles think of them. I will go see them again.

    Twist and Shout sounded fantastic!

by jmhluv on 11/5/12Desert Diamond Casino - Sahuarita

The band was great! Tony Kishman as Paul is spot on! The only thing I wish the band did better was to get the crowd standing from the beginning of the show as opposed to the last song of the evening. I stood and danced for most of it but the lame crowd kept sitting!

    It was super-awesome

by jdrvail on 11/4/12Desert Diamond Casino - Sahuarita

I thought the act was fabulous! At one point I had tears in my eyes! The only disappointment was that the crowd was so laid-back (an older crowd!)! I could hardly sit still in my seat but I didn't want to get up and disturb those around me.

    Twist & Shout

by Tucson05 on 11/4/12Desert Diamond Casino - Sahuarita

The boys were excellent. Faithful to the periods and songs. Most of the riffs and melodies were spot on. This is the second time we saw them. Will see them again when they come back. They were however missing the Left handed guitar player (Paul's look alike played right handed. But he played well.

    Phenomenal!

by Cstrlvr on 5/5/12The Seasons Performance Hall - Yakima

I was skeptical about seeing a Beatles tribute band. I have been a Beatles lover for 40 years and didn't think I could enjoy a faux group, I'd be too critical. I saw a clip online and though there were a few appearance issues (the Beatles never played together in the clothing worn and "Paul" was right handed) the music was so well-played I immediately bought my tickets. The show was absolutely superb, the music was almost 100% spot on~to hear Beatles music live is such a joy. "Paul" was the most authentic, with many of McCartney's mannerisms. The energy of the crowd and a wonderful venue helped top it all off to make it very worth my time and money.

All the singers are talented, they play beautifully! You feel good inside. The Beatles live once again while they're on stage!

    Twist and Shout was AMAZING!!

by AG55 on 5/31/11Desert Diamond Casino - Sahuarita

I went with my parents and fiance and we all had such a good time. They played fun music that we could sing along with and dance too. I really couldn't tell a difference from the "real thing" and can't wait till they are back in town again!

    Twist & Shout was Awesome

by 1catluver on 5/31/11Desert Diamond Casino - Sahuarita

The guys who present as the Beatles were fantastic. The "Twist & Shout George" was a fabulous guitar player. I think his talent was awesome! The songs they played and the persona's they took on were just right. They nailed it! My husband and I went for our anniversary, and I cannot think of a better way we could have spent it! The only reason this show did not get five stars is due to the venue. What a disappointment! I really expected a lot more from Desert Diamond. There were not enough restaurants to handle the amount of people attending the show and the crowds at the casino. The auditorium was unbearably hot.....we were dripping sweat. Thank goodness the lady in front of us brought a fan! Who ever did the spotlight was "asleep at the wheel." They obviously did not know the Beatles songs as they kept putting the spotlight on the wrong band member.....it was really annoying. Perhaps Twist and Shout should consider a more professional venue, better equipped to handle a group such as theirs. This was amateur hour.

We had so much fun at this wonderful Beatles review! They were terrific and it brought us back to our youth when we danced and sang to the real Beatles!!! A great time for all ages and anyone who loves this Beatles will love Twist and Shout!

    Twist and Shout

by Anonymous on 5/31/11Desert Diamond Casino - Sahuarita

The Twist and Shout show was great. Those guys absolutely nail the Beatles. They capture the guitar, bass, and drum playing styles of the Fab Four as well as the vocals. I've seen them three times now, and I'll certainly go again. The only negative about the show was the general admission seating. The line to get into the venue was very disorganized, meandering all over the place. Everyone was stressing out over it before the doors opened. Please provide reserved seating for the next Twist and Shout show at the Diamond Center. I'll be sure to go.

    Twist and Shout was great!

What I loved about the show is that my 17 year old is a huge Beatle fan, knows all the songs, and plays them on his guitar. We sang along to every song. He even knew the words to a couple of songs that werent that popular. Paul and John look very similar to the real Paul and John. They sing almost exactly like them too. What I disliked was the open (festival) seating. Two years ago we went to the same show and it was very laid back, we gambled, went to dinner, had a beer. This year we got there and there was already a huge line, so we just stood in line with everyone else for 1.5 hours in the heat. Good thing it wasnt a 100 degree day. I dont know why the casino would want to do that. All of us would rather be spending our money gambling than standing in line anyday!

    Really Good

by Harrley on 5/30/11Desert Diamond Casino - Sahuarita

These guys sound amazingly like the Beatles. "Paul" looks very much like Paul. And, "John" looks somewhat like John. The band plays tight. They made the night fun. It is a feat indeed to find good musicians that sound and look like the real thing. Worth every dime!
