    TS Lights out once again

by Jthunders on 5/15/11Webster Hall - New York

An amazing show, the sound was clear and loud. Greg was in great spirits. Will make sure I tell my friends who passed on this show, that they missed the show of the year. A rare treat to see this quality of music in such a small venue. Hard to believe that it does not even matter that there are no Whigs songs in the set list. The Twilight Singers stand on their own music.

Amazing show! This is at least the 8th time I have seen The Twilight Singers or some other version of Greg Dulli live. The energy is always really high and they put on a great show!

    Dulli Delight

by GutterSinger on 5/13/11Paradise Rock Club - Boston

What can I say about this concert that will really give it justice? I am at a loss... This is the concert I've been waiting for for so long and it was far more than I could have ever expected. Two days later and I am still in awe. Greg Dulli. The Twilight Singers. If you don't know... now you know.

    Greg Dulli in top form

    by nfr529 on 5/12/11Trocadero - Philadelphia

For almost 20 years I have been seeing Greg Dulli in one incarnation or another. Although it is difficult to ever top some of the legendary marathon Afghan Whigs shows, Greg still pulls a powerful punch. It seems he as at the healthiest he has been in a long time and you could tell in his voice and his bravado. The setlist was high energy hitting all phases of the Twilight era and the only Whigs reference was the Milez is Dead Outro at the end of Never Seen No Devil. Of course Dulli added some covers of Kanye, John Coltrane and Marvin Gaye and a little Dream On between the showstopping Love/Annie Mae one two punch. The only complaint I had was the mellow encore. Although The Killer is my favorite post Whigs Dulli song and I enjoy Gunshots off of the new album, Dynamite Steps did not do it for me as a closer. But all in all, Philly brought it and The Twilight Singers delivered.

    Dulli continues to amaze

by RAYMARCOH on 5/12/11Trocadero - Philadelphia

It is amazing how Greg Dulli continues to remain the greatest performer in rock music today. Current and important. Top notch song writing, singing (in his uninimitable style) entertaining, arrangements superb, and leading a fabulous band. What more could you ask for your dollar....have him reincarnate the Who on stage? He's done that already. His show is the perfect combination of past hits from all of his bands and the new album...I'll shut up now and go back to listening to the Twilight Singers and ponder the question why Dulli can't sell out Madison Square Garden every night...perhaps it's a good thing that he can't...rock halls that hold about 800 to a 1000 are perfect for one of the loudest and clearest bands ever

TS Rocked - but Philly didn't bring it

by jackstrawphilly on 5/12/11Trocadero - Philadelphia

Great show, but Dulli requires a full house of admirors. Philly didn't provide, so I think we only got about 8/10s of the show he always brings

    Twilight Singers never disappoint

    by crash665 on 5/8/11Masquerade - Atlanta

The Masquerade is a very cool place to see a show, and if you happen to be in Hell then you're in for a treat. Very nice atmosphere; bar tenders were very friendly and made excellent drinks to boot; oh, yeah, the Twilight Singers were amazing. Very tight show. Quickly went from one song to another with little talking in between - which is a bit different from other times I've seen Greg. I guess that's what I get for seeing them on the second date of the tour. The crowd was loud but not crazy. Lots of dancing and singing. Very good experience. I've listened to Greg Dulli for almost twenty years, so to say I enjoyed the show would be an understatement. I've been to the Masquerade a few times, and the place is top notch. Attend something there soon!

    Dulli's still got it!

by davygibbs on 5/7/11Masquerade - Atlanta

A set list I couldn't have improved upon if I'd been given total control. Musicianship beyond my expectations. Incredible stage presence. Unpredictable twists on familiar songs. Impromptu covers. A great crowd....simply one of the best shows I've seen in years, perhaps my life.

    Gregs ego!

by prga on 5/7/11Masquerade - Atlanta

Sadly walked out of the show after about 6 songs. I have been a fan since Afghans 2nd album. With each new Twilight Singers album they lose me a little more. The set list was kind of boring and lacked any sort of umph. I wish Greg could get his ego in check and realize that just because he pens a song doesnt mean it should be recorded. After looking at the setlist the next day online I can honestly say I didnt miss anything after I left. I think its time for Dulli to kiss and make up with the Afghan boys. As far as Margo and the so so's... not even so so. Off key, tone deaf, lacked any sort of artistic talent. Sad.
