Twenty One Pilots on Tour
Indie rockers Twenty One Pilots continue to bring the ruckus with their hard-hitting, rap-infused jams. Whether lead singer Tyler Joseph is spitting heavy flows on "Holding On To You" or Josh Dun is hammering out a drum solo on their radio hit "House of Gold", the duo knows how to put on an animated, passionate live performance every time. With a dynamic sound that blends elements of hip hop, hard rock, and pop, Twenty One Pilots always give fans something to cheer about at their packed live shows.
Twenty One Pilots in Concert
Ohio-based band Twenty One Pilots got their start in 2009 when Tyler Joseph, Nick Thomas, and Chris Salih met in college and produced, recorded, and released their self-titled debut themselves. After the departure of Thomas and Salih, Joseph recruited Josh Dun for the project, resulting in its current duo configuration. With the release of their second album Regional At Best, the band attracted attention from execs at Fueled By Ramen and were signed in 2012. They made their major label debut the following year with 2013's Vessel, which reached No. 10 on the Alternative Albums Chart and featured the radio-friendly track "Holding on to You". Since then, the group has toured alongside Fall Out Boy, Neon Trees, and Walk the Moon, made several primetime television appearances, and played sold-out shows on their Quiet is Violent World Tour -- all in a few short years. With their poetic lyrics, driving music, and amazing stage presence, Twenty One Pilots deliver unforgettable performances for their fans every time.
Fans Who Bought Tickets Say
"Absolutely fantastic. There was a great crowd at American Airlines Center and Twenty One Pilots exceeded all my expectations! Will definitely go down as one of the best nights of my life."
"I discovered Twenty One Pilots as an opener band. They have so much passion and energy on stage. Right from the start, they engaged the audience as everyone sang along every syllable of every song. Amazing, high energy show!"
"Most talented two guys on tour today. From percussion and voice quality to intensity...they were awesome."
Best show ever! Congratulations to Tyler and Josh for getting signed, well deserved on their parts.
They put on an amazing live show. Very full of energy.
Twenty One Pilots puts on the best shows. They keep the crowd jumping the entire time.
This was my first time ever seeing Twenty One Pilots and I must say my mind was blown. Never have I seen a local band play with such enthusiasm and personality. I would definitely see them again. There was never a dull moment and it was awesome!
This performance was beyond amazing. The people in the mosh pit area had just as much fun as the people watching the show from the balcony. Twenty one pilots is great at incorporating their fans into their music/show. I am so privileged to have been a part of this performance and would love to go back.
Twenty one pilots have such a unique and addicting sound! Their live shows are super amazing and they know how to get the crowd involved. It is worth over and beyond the $10 ticket price!
Very packed but every minute was worth it!! From start to finish they do not disappoint! best concert I've been to yet!
The band was very interactive with the audience, and at one point the main singer, Tyler, was IN the crowd. =)
This show was amazing! The opening bands were alright, but 21 Pilots were the best. Their stage presence was spectacular, especially for a local band. They sold out the Newport, which is amazing, considering that they are a local band. I would totally recommend seeing them live if you have a chance.
The concert was overall spectacular. They had an audience participation throughout the entire concert. It wa very engaging and the overall mood was exciting and high energy.
Okay. First off Twenty One Pilots SOLD OUT the Newport. Which was outstanding because they are a local band! I mean, being down in the crowd was somewhat unenjoyable because of the fact that everyone was shoving each other forward, but that was easily avoided because my friend and I relocated to the balcony where we had a great view without being killed. Also, they could have done without having FOUR opening bands--but twenty one pilots was worth the wait. Hands down one of the best shows I've been to.
Incredible environment and show for a local band, on the level of a top touring band
The before show was sooo long with 4 opening bands
Awesome show! A MUST SEE. The most entertaining live show I've ever seen.
They sold the Newport in Columbus Ohio. Local bands don't do that. These guys are more entertaining than when I saw Coldplay.
We learned that it is not only unusual for a "local" band to sell out the Newport, it only happened one other time with O.A.R., and that was when the Newport only held 1300. Last Saturday night Twenty One Pilots sold over 1700 tickets. It was an amazing show from a band who may be considered local for now, yet clearly demonstrated they will be known around the country before long!
High energy & fabulous fun! Yea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
