    KPOP MASTERS 2011 SATURDAY'S EVENT

by rawrrimelectrikk on 11/30/11MGM Grand Hotel - Las Vegas

The event could have been more organized. It wasn't fair that people who paid $300+ tickets had to share with people who paid less and got an "upgrade" on theirs. Also, the whole "giving away 50+" tickets was a bunch of BS. The VIP Lounge should have been planned before hand. The Red Carpet event shouldn't have been Friday's show priority I think everyone should've had a fair share or that people who paid $300+ should've gotten priority. I think it should've been standing room on the floor and seats everywhere else, that would've been easiest. Overall the concert was great, amazing KPOP groups. Although I do wish that it was longer. I had a blast singing along to every single song and dancing. The location was great, the stage was great also.

    Good show

by AN23 on 11/30/11MGM Grand Hotel - Las Vegas

Performance: 4 Stars Ticket price: 2 Stars Venue: 2 Stars there were things that happened before and during the show that was infuriating to some paying audience like me. I don't think that Safety was a High priority since they let most fans stand by the steps Fans were not considerate of others, they stood most of the time and blocked everyone's view of the stage! it would have been nice if they had an MC that spoke English so everyone can understand the non-english speaking artists! they were not punctual at all, it was supposed to start at 8 and end at 11 but started at 15 minutes past and ended way before 11PM! the lights at one time were pointed at the audience which made it impossible to see the performance! they even allowed other ticket holders to 'run' to the floor area at the start which made people who were late no reserved seats to sit on thereby blocking those who were already seated!

    TVXQ live is an experience!

by Polinchka on 11/30/11MGM Grand Hotel - Las Vegas

I have been a kpop fan for a few years now and I TVXQ is my bias. That said, I also like B2st and BEG. I'm not a fan of MBLAQ so they didn't do anything for me>< Sistar did a bit too much lip singing and 4Minute was awesome, actually. Nothing, however, can match the sheer epic energy and performances of Yunho and Changmin. They stole the stage from everyone else and they were following a strong performance by BEG. They made you watch them and the fans showed their support. I had the best time.

Great show -- poor concert coordination

by kpopper on 11/29/11MGM Grand Hotel - Las Vegas

The concert was fantastic. Unfortunately, the show didn't sell out. Before everyone was seated, the concert coordinator told all those people who sat in the back they can move up to the empty seats due to half sold seats. While the crowd went wild grabbing $300 seats, the ticket holders arrived and there were a lot of confusion which delayed the performance for 10 minutes. It happened the 2nd night again, so the hotel coordinators didn't learn from their lesson from the previous night. Regardless of the confusion, the crowd cheer on their favs.

    Disappointing concert!!!!!!

by lotteda on 11/29/11MGM Grand Hotel - Las Vegas

Paid for the $175 (plus taxes) tickets, but they let everyone fill in expensive seats from any area that they bought. If I bought the $300+ tickets, I would have been more upset. I should have bought the cheapest tickets and then sat in the $225 or the more expensive floor section, which many people were doing. The lighting was very annoying because they kept shining it into the eyes of the audience instead of properly lighting the performers. When Gna sang one of her songs, it obviously looked liked she was lip syncing because her lips didn't match what we were hearing. We thought that the psychedelic lighting shining in our eyes was meant to prevent us from clearly seeing that they were lip syncing. Shinee and TVXQ were awesome and didn't seem to be lip syncing. Because it wasn't a full house, there also seemed to be much less energy overall. Side screens were too small. Many times, when I looked at the side screens, the images of the performers looked as small as they did when I looked at them on the stage. Overall, a disappointing concert mostly because of technical issues and the decision to open it up to a free- for- all seating. I thought it was going to be the best concert of the year, but it wasn't.

    The Concert itself was momentous!

by RoliPoliNina on 11/29/11MGM Grand Hotel - Las Vegas

The concert, though it did not fill up, was absolutely amazing. For this being the first time an event like this has taken place they did amazingly well. I hope that next time I get better seats, though we were able to move up since the event did not fill, my friends wanted to stay back and I sadly stayed with them QQ. I want this to happen again. It needs to happen again. :D That or I am spending a lot of money to go to an out of country performance +_+.

It was an AMAZING concert with an AMAZING line-up at an AMAZING hotel, but what's the point of different prices when people just move down? It was a bit unorganized and the security at the hotel were a bit rude. They lied to the fans when we KNOW it's false. And the red carpet event was a mess. Fans waited 4+ hours STANDING there and reporters came and stood in front of us and blocked us from seeing anything.

    KPOP Heaven!!

by Anonymous on 11/29/11MGM Grand Hotel - Las Vegas

Wow! I can not describe the feeling of seeing KPOP artists on American soil. The show wasn't sold out, but it sure sounded like it. Beast, Sistar, 4 Minute, G.NA, MBLAQ, B.E.G., SHINee, TVXQ...it was awesome!! For some of them, it was there first time in Vegas and they were extremely humble and thankful! Billboard K-POP Masters is only going to get bigger.

Great show!! Line up from the countdown to finale was amazing!! The only complaint I had was that numerous people ran past the guards and got to seat in the front without being told to move. So better security is a must!! Overall, great show glad I got to be a part of it!!

    1st Billboard KPOP Masters

by Azuni on 11/29/11MGM Grand Hotel - Las Vegas

I was very satisfied seeing the artist from Korea. What i don't like was that how everyone moved up seat. People who paid $75 had the chance to sit where other people paid $300. If the prices weren't so expensive there would of been more people coming to the concert since people who bought the tickets and live out state have to spend more money. Also wished the concert started on time. My friend and I didn't move from our seats because we knew it wasn't fair to the rest of the other people. Other than that we liked our seat since we were still able to see the stage and were close enough. Also wished there was more merchandise sold at the event. Even though the signed posters were really great. I was hoping for the artist CD's being sold. Felt like it was rushed, artistes went from song to song. Thought there was gonna be an intermission so the artist can rest. Started late and finished early.

Overall the concert itself was GREAT! but the organization was horrible. People who paid $75 were allowed to go to the floor seats because they did not sell out. I thought that was very unfair for people who paid the actual price which was $300 and at the end everybody ran down to the floor seats. Other than that the concert was the best every artist was great and hopefully this concert is done every year with a better organizational structure.

    Billboard K-Pop Masters

by DiEnYa on 11/28/11MGM Grand Hotel - Las Vegas

K-Pop Masters was a truly amazing concert. I thoroughly enjoy the music from these talented artists, but to be able to have the opportunity to watch them live was more than what I could have ever imagined. They are all truly great performers and know how to put on an excellent show. Their voices are beautiful and the dancing, mainly from the male groups, is outstanding. Beast and MBLAQ are both very talented singers and dancers. TVXQ captivated me the moment they stepped on stage. They brought down the house with a strong performance. I am so happy I was able to be a part of history, this was a chance I will never forget. I truly hope this continues and I will be able to attend another Billboard K-Pop concert next year.

    A night to remember

by Mslelie on 11/28/11MGM Grand Hotel - Las Vegas

All the performers are awesome even if supposedly one group did not perform on that day which I felt is kinda misinformation otherwise I could have gotten the ticket at a later time when they added another day for the same event. Me and my family greatly enjoyed the show..

Billboard K-pop Masters concert was AMAZING.

by AyaFae on 11/28/11MGM Grand Hotel - Las Vegas

Everything about it was really cool, especially for a devoted kpop fan. The only thing that I think wasn't so great was probably the Red Carpet event on Day 1 of the concert. I wish that Friday didn't have priority over Saturday. We payed the same price, so the arrangement shouldn't have been Friday in front of Saturday, but Friday and Saturday next to each other. The actual concert was, Ahh-mazing! The effects were really nice, and our idols, AS ALWAYS, performed their very best for all of us!! I know that all of the devoted fans watch their idols all the time over the internet, but to be honest, watching it live and in person is the absolute BEST. If you didn't go, you should definitely come next time.

    You almost did it right.

by swll1989 on 11/28/11MGM Grand Hotel - Las Vegas

The event itself was fantastic but the planning was awful. They put the tickets on sale before they even had a confirmed list of what artists would be attending and then they split the event into 2 days randomly and added another group to the second day! The artists were fantastic and I had a blast but there were so many empty seats, it would have been much better if they would have been more organized. Don't expect people to buy out tickets when they're $100+, and you can't even tell them who's performing.

    Amazing

by Kibbsworld on 11/28/11MGM Grand Hotel - Las Vegas

It was absolutely amazing. Altogether it was amazing. The artists preformed and definitely put on a show. I think the most energy was felt towards the end of the concert with MBLAQ, Brown Eyed Girls and TVXQ. MBLAQ really got the crowd pumped, especially when they sang Stay and Oh Yeah. Brown Eyed Girls didn't disappoint with their amazing vocals and TVXQ finished off the show with a very flashy and very entertaining performance. Although I must say, there were some problems. The microphones weren't very good, the lights were a bit much and during the beginning clip of the Kpop timeline, they made a mistake of putting Beast's debut as 2008 instead of 2009 (Beast debuted one day after MBLAQ). The seating arrangements was so off as well. It was chaotic and the people who bought the 300+ tickets have a right to be upset since they spent a lot of money and then they let everyone pick new seats. Other than that, it was really good.
