Too expensive for less than two hours
by anon on 2/4/25El Paso County Coliseum - El PasoRating: 2 out of 5I remember when the rodeo lasted for at least two-three hours. A portion of that long ago rodeo was bull riding and charro demonstrations. But to spend $160 for four tickets for a one night event, in the nose bleed section, as far away from the action and the smallest big screen that covers only the bull riding action and the introduction our military heroes sitting up in the stands far away from our view, was a disservice to them and the honor Tuff Hedeman gave them. I love bull riding and only ten riders to me, meant there were more cowboys riding and putting on the show than actual competitors. We love Tuff Hedeman and shows of days gone by. Bring back more competitors and get the County to renovate that Coliseum for accessibility and better seating options for all. One last thing, if you didn't get there two hours or more early, you were not able to park inside the gates of the coliseum. People had to park at the zoo across the street, on Delta and the surrounding neighborhood.
There was not any law enforcement to protect the pedestrians crossing all the streets in the area, while sheriff deputies were inside the coliseum.
