The chorus was wonderful! How about some Mozart -
I was shocked at how the Music Hall seemed to be so anti-woman. Men's bathroom's are clearly labeled on the second floor. For the Women's bathrooms ALL labels were HIDDEN. You had to know to go down a dark hallway to get to the unlabeled Women's bathrooms. At the end of the dark hallway there was a label next to the door for the Women's bathroom. They harass women for having a purse even though mine was not very big. They gave me a card, which to me, did not apply to my scenario due to the size of my purse. The solutions are clear plastic bags or purses. They insisted that I could not bring even an empty water bottle into the Music Hall. Airports allow for more than this. They have water stations for filling water bottles, but don't allow any kind of water bottle. Since I have a medical condition for which I need water, I was forced to buy a water bottle and contribute to the plastic pollution, much less spend money to contribution to the problem. Are the folks running this vesting in plastics? If there are future options, I will most certainly choose a more woman and environmentally friendly venue in the future.
“A Universe of Music” is how Tucson Symphony Orchestra’s Music Director and Conductor José Luis Gomez described Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony before performing it last Friday night. From its subtle beginnings to the infinite wonder of “Ode to Joy’s” chorus, there is no better way to describe the Ninth. Gomez and the Orchestra, accompanied by a full chorus, two tenors and two sopranos were perfect in their rendition. For a fleeting 70 plus minutes, we were transported to a “Universe of Music”,
TSO is always wonderful. I had never heard Pink Martini before but my husband has and it was a great time for both of us. Can’t wait for the next show!
Fantastico ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
Our evening with friends was perfect. Pink Martini gave a flawless performance with the Tucson Symphony. Thanks for a wonderful evening!
The concert was great but the seats and leg room were horrible to sit in. I'm 5'8" and my knees touched the seats in front. This music hall needs updating
Like all TSO performances, this event was outstanding. I left with a lighter heart. Looking forward to the next performance.
The sign language was great. Love the conductor Music was crisp and beautiful!!!
Great show. Orchestra was great. Not a bad seat in the house. Sound was good . Loved it
The talent of these musicians are greatly appreciated by me. I'm not your typical clasical music consumer but know talant and commitment when I see it. All Americans should rediscover this art and let it raise our level of consciousness higher. First time attending in over 20 years and plan on doing so more often.
There is no signage for parking locations, the garage was full and they were still letting people in. Four concurrent events just multiplied the problem. The concert was great parking very annoying paying $10.
We have never been to a TSO performance, so glad we came. The performance we saw was Coco live. Its was amazing seeing the musicians play along with the movie. A great experience and we will be back!
The TSO did a great job playing along with the film’s action on the screen. Coco is a sweet movie and the experience was enhanced by live music.
Your greeters, vendors were exceptional! We had a great experience. We wanted more information on the live concert and one of the ladies in charge provides details on the concert and we were extremely excited and honored to see Coco live with the symphony! Great experience overall!
I am always impressed by the talent of TSO musicians. Coco in concert was every bit as enjoyable as the classical masterpieces events I typically attend. The solos throughout the event was impressive. Concessions lines could be more efficient.
Coco with live music from the Symphony was OUTSTANDING! Enjoyed it very much!
Loved the movie "Coco". When I heard there was a showing with a live orchestra I thought, "hey that should be great". Meh. The movie was still great, but my attention was on the screen, and I barely noticed that they orchestra was there. I don't think the live orchestra added anything that a good theatrical sound system wouldn't have. So why pay the hefty ticket price for the orchestra?
Loved the movie "Coco". When I saw that there was a showing of the movie with a live orchestra
Fabulous trip down memory lane, hearing the great music of the Beatles. First half is early Beatles, second half is later, all accompanied by vocals, and interesting visuals on a wide screen. Loved it😊👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻!!
