The Sugar Skulls haven’t disappointed me they always put on a great game. Look forward to their next home game!
My wife and I and another couple went to Sunday's game against San Diego. While the on field entertainment was exceptional, the seating at TCC on a scale of 1 to 10 is a minus 1,000,000,000. If you are anywhere above 5'8" and approaching, or above 150lbs, prepare for a night of discomfort the likes of which you would expect to encounter on a Japanese subway. Whomever the geniuses were that came up with the idea to jam as many seats into and as close in a row clearly didn't have to sit in them. Profits were obviously waaaaaaay in front of customer comfortability. Does anyone of rational deduction really think that TCC would EVER sell out, for anything? Clearly, the thinking was that it would, frequently. Why else pack 'em in the way they have. And even if it did sell out, when is enough, enough? That place could stand to have at least 2 to 3 seats from each row removed and then reasonably sized seats replacing everything. Listen, I'm not suggesting that arenas should have Lazy-Boy recliners, for cryin' out loud. I am however, of the mind that you should be able to enjoy a live sporting event, that you're already paying exorbitant amounts of money at for concessions, without having to find a human sized shoehorn just to sit down. And I haven't even addressed the fact that your knees could be used as a headrest for the folks in front of you, another well thought out design. Getting to know your neighbor is usually done by speaking to them, not sitting on them. Attend at your own risk...........of becoming a human accordion.
This was the first time that we had ever been to an indoor football game and it was really amazing. We love football. High school, college (Go Cats), and professional so we were intrigued by the slogan "Half the Field - Twice the Action" and boy were they right. There was always something happening on the field and there were many examples of outstanding athletic prowess. The venue is one we had been to before and we were glad to find excellent concessions for food and many drink stations so you never really had to stand in line except at halftime but that is to be expected at any sporting event. We will definitely be going back!!
I had not been to a football games a long time. I had a real good time at the Sugar Skull game on Sunday, March 31, 2019. It was exciting to see the crowd so energized by the game. Didn’t get a T-shirt but maybe next time.
Fast paced, great energy. It was my first time going and not going to be my last! I am now a fan!
This was a fun event. Great music blasting, and...football. The game was way too long though due to so many penalty flags. It seemed like one after another so my kids got really bored. And they love watching football. The adults in our group were all frustrated by the 3 hour game time and copious penalties.
Couldn't ask for a better time. Definitely go back for more
I love arena football and was very excited to hear about the Tucson Sugar Skulls. Got tickets for their first game and we were not disappointed. The team played great and it was an exciting game. The fans were friendly and you could feel the excitement.
The game was great, but the constant music and announcer were way too loud!
GREAT GAME, I REALLY ENJOYED IT. I WOULD GO AGAIN AND AGAIN. I JUST MIGHT BUY SEASON TICKETS
Tucson Sugar Skulls go to 2-0 with the home opening win over Bismarck. Nice to have another successful pro sports team in town!
The TCC needs an upgrade but the product, excitment and overall experience exceeded what I would’ve expected for day one. They were really prepared and they put together a great team. Great job!
The game was great and the venue was perfect. Will definitely go again. The only problem was the lack of parking. Had to park about 6 blocks away on the street. Not the end of the world but would prefer more parking at the venue.
Didn’t know what to expect, but soon found myself enjoying great action. For a first try at the home stadium a job done well. My only criticism is turn down the volume and especially the base on the sound system.
Fast pace, hard hits and a short field. Awesome venue to watch and cheer for, great football substitution during the normal off-season. Very happy with my tickets at mid field but, would be completely satisfied buying upper or end zone tickets. Great view of the action anywhere in the arena. Coming back for more maybe even make a road trip for Rattler match-up.
For those of us who need that football fix, this could cure the itch. Get liquor up and enjoy the show! It’s fun, player interact with the crowd. You can defenitly see the drop in talent level but hey it’s arena football not the the NFL.
