Couldn’t have been more fun. Definitely more stressful going in than Highwater bc the staff has to pat you down rather than just walking through a metal detector but definitely worth it. 2 years and I’ll be back for 3❤️
Again, another beautiful weekend on beautiful grounds - of all the outdoor venues Riverfront Park is the best I've been to that "has it all". Super lineup this year - like some Umph Love.
Sunday Nights U.M set was worth the price of admission.
This was my first festival at the Riverfront Park but it definitely will not be my last! The festival was run so professionally! From the band choices, the food choices, the vendors, etc. Such a positive experience from start to finish. I absolutely loved the addition of the Home Stage this year! So cool to be able to enjoy local talent in such a huge venue. I now have some home town favorites I will follow including RoboTrio, Schema and Sol Driven Train. Amazing local talent! I had never heard or heard of Caroline Rose and this band is now in my top 10. Great job to all who organized this event! Can't wait for next year!
The 2nd annual Trondossa Festival was really fun and overall executed pretty well. I was especially impressed with the Local stage and selection of local bands that played there. That was an awesome idea. It seemed like the crowd Saturday was bigger than anticipated as the port-a-potties reached critical mass by 9pm. Saw several overflowing trash cans/recycling bins too. The other weird thing was the office style water coolers. Many were just cooking in the sun and dispensing really warm water. Otherwise the sound at the main stage was outstanding, beer and food lines were pretty short and grounds were kept clean. Nice job Satisfied team!
Band was terrible, food gone too early. Drink prices were unreasonable.
Had an amazing time at this festival. Hoping they decide to do it in Charleston every year!
Top of the line experience. Don’t get any bigger and keep the venue!
Absurdly beautiful venue. Phenomenal bands. Original art. Wonderful people. FANTASTIC music. Trondossa has proven in just two years - that it will be the festivals of all festivals. Next year this is a must see! Hey stick figure.... join the lineup :)
The lineup of artists was really good! The festival grounds were nice and open and the sound quality was good. Having a tiny smoking section at an outdoor festival was pretty ridiculous I thought. They didn’t even put a trash can or ash trays anywhere close to the “pen” where people had to smoke causing people to litter. I thought the festival would have sold way more beer had the lines not been so long. They could have easily had beer carts throughout the grounds with cash only options. It seemed like any time I wanted a drink I missed 10 minutes of the show every time. Other than that I loved the music, art, and food.
I think the VIP food should have been offered later than 6pm...at least till 7..Home Team BBQ did an awesome job with everything..just wish it would have been offered a little longer..and maybe some more vegetarian options besides salad...
Was an amazing show. a few improvements i would suggest would be. - Shade. There needs to be more shade throughout the venue. - Water. The first year the water supplied was cold and tasted great. This year the small water bottles would get hot so fast and wasn't very good. - Fruit would have been wonderful. Maybe consider allowing guest to bring in some fruit.
Spacious and beautiful park. Sunset and waterfront views were amazing. Excellent bands. Food and drink selection great. Fireworks were a huge perk.
Music was awesome. Plenty of bars kept the lines short. Food vendors too far from main stage, many of the porta potties were shut down night one. There should be more lighting for set breaks.
This annual Jam Band/Alternative festival in Charleston is excellent and really under appreciated. Widespread Panic organizes, and very well done. In April, on a breezy riverfront, with lots of food, arts & crafts vendors, bars and plenty of portapotties. You can even bring in your own folding chair! No vip necessary. Everybody from older Deadheads like me to the cool kids makes it fun.
Please make sure that this is an annual thing !!!!! Loved the kine up both days !!!!!
Best Festival! The food. The bands. The staff. The venue. First class all the way!
Fantastic Saturday show. Panic is panic. Umphrey is always sharp and fun. Wood brothers brought it
This festival was a blast. Beautiful day at a beautiful location. everything was set up very organized except there was a shortage of water. it was upper 80 degrees and sunny and they only put out a couple water coolers (ones you would see in an office) in a few places. festivals normally have large water tanks but this one was under-prepared and there were lots of pissed off people. other than a shortage of water (unless you wanted to buy their bottles) it was a really fun time.
