About

Driving guitar solos and throbbing rhythms make up the heavy metal produced by Orlando-based metalcore outfit Trivium. Since their start in 2000, the four-member band has sold more than a million albums and toured alongside other big-ticket metal acts like Iron Maiden, As I Lay Dying and GWAR, bringing fans at venues like Fillmore (Detroit), the Buckhead Theatre and Aztec Theatre to capacity.

Their most recent effort, “Vengeance Falls,” surfaced in October 2013 and landed at No. 15 on The Billboard 200, as well as in the Top 10 on Japanese and Australian album charts. Along with a discography of six full-length records and a healthy U.S. tour history, Trivium has also handled concerts throughout Europe, Japan and Australia.

For the 2006 collection “The Crusade,” Trivium frontman Matt Heafy took a slight departure from his metalcore scream to deliver more traditional singing vocals that some compared to Metallica. That album debuted at No. 25 on The Billboard 200, and Heafy went back to his signature scream for the follow-up, 2008’s “Shogun,” and subsequent releases.

  • Trivium show rocked!

    by Refrank on 9/20/09Eagles Club/The Rave/Eagles Ballroom - MilwaukeeRating: 5 out of 5

From the first second dirge within started to the last second trivium played the show was excellent. It was a brutal hard hitting metal show. The pit was insane! Trivium played a phenomenal set, with all the best songs from shogun, ascendancy, and ember to inferno. They were very down to earth, and you could tell they were having fun. All in all one of the best shows I've seen.

Trivium know how to put on a great show! They played a variety of songs from Ember to Inferno, Ascendancy, and Shogun.

  • GREAT CONCERT, GREAT VENUE, GREAT VALUE!

by Beckon on 9/16/09House of Blues Cleveland - ClevelandRating: 5 out of 5

It's been over 2 and a half years since I've been back to the House of Blues in Cleveland. It has to be one of the better venues that we have here. I attended the concert featuring Trivium, Whitechapel, Darkest Hour, and Dirge Within. I thought first off that the ticket buying process when great. I bought my tickets which I saw shown on MySpace.com. After I was redirected to Ticketmastter, I bought my tickets at a superb value in my opinion. The tickets were mailed to me and I received them within 72 hours which I was surprised they came so timely. The venue itself was very clean and the staff helpful. The concert was absolutely amazing. Trivium never fails to impress and they've gotten much better live since first seeing them back in 2003 I believe. The follow-up bands were excellent and I would recommend seeing them to any and all who not only love metal, but music in general. Great sounds all around and the concert ended at a decent time. Leaving was no problem. All in all, I can't wait to see them again! I anxiously await their return! Keep rocking!

  • Metal Concert of a Lifetime!!

by MetalFan01 on 9/16/09House of Blues Cleveland - ClevelandRating: 5 out of 5

I was front row for Trvium at the Cleveland show, This is the best metal concert you can go to this year.. I've been front row for two metallica shows in the past year, and Trivium's performance trumps them all.. The guys put on a killer show with an awesome set list.. No songs off the crusade, but you can do without when you got the songs from shogun, Ascendancy, and Ember to Inferno!! Matt, Corey, Travis, and Paolo were flawless!! Great show guys, i hope to see you again soon!

  • Dude!! Trivium IS METAL!!!

by Brutaldude on 9/15/09House of Blues Cleveland - ClevelandRating: 5 out of 5

Trivium hands down played a great show. I've seen them twice. They play their music perfectly. Even though Matt says his voice isn't at it's best, it's doin damn fine for me. A lot better than the bands their touring with.... but oh well. Trivium blew up the place. They have a type of musicianship i haven't seen since metallica!!

  • This concert rocked!

Despite the fact that out of 3 opening bands only 1 of them were tolerable. Trivium put on a amazing show, so good I didn't care how bad the opening bands were...

  • Trivium will never let me down

by graphiceq on 9/15/09House of Blues Cleveland - ClevelandRating: 5 out of 5

Solid performance by one of metal's top acts. I've seen Trivium about 12 times now and they just get better. I remember the first Trivium show I ever went to when they played at Full Sail down in Orlando. The same excitement from that show to this show. I will always be a Trivium fan.

Well it was a long night of metal sweat and brutal agony!! But fun none the less the opening bands rocked. I don't remember everything except when i got in the mosh pit and got flung about ten feet by someone alot younger and bigger then me. When trivium came out the beer had started to wear off but it was awsome Matt Heafy came into the crowd for a sec they played some old stuff. I don't know it was just awsome i have met them before this was my 5th time seeing them it rocked go see triviumn if u like metal.

The Crazy Donkey had many bands that I'd like to see playing there but this is my first time going to a show there and it was just amazing every band outdone themselves on the first of the tour. Bottom line I say go to this show if they are playing near you it a must for any metal fans
