About

Driving guitar solos and throbbing rhythms make up the heavy metal produced by Orlando-based metalcore outfit Trivium. Since their start in 2000, the four-member band has sold more than a million albums and toured alongside other big-ticket metal acts like Iron Maiden, As I Lay Dying and GWAR, bringing fans at venues like Fillmore (Detroit), the Buckhead Theatre and Aztec Theatre to capacity.

Their most recent effort, “Vengeance Falls,” surfaced in October 2013 and landed at No. 15 on The Billboard 200, as well as in the Top 10 on Japanese and Australian album charts. Along with a discography of six full-length records and a healthy U.S. tour history, Trivium has also handled concerts throughout Europe, Japan and Australia.

For the 2006 collection “The Crusade,” Trivium frontman Matt Heafy took a slight departure from his metalcore scream to deliver more traditional singing vocals that some compared to Metallica. That album debuted at No. 25 on The Billboard 200, and Heafy went back to his signature scream for the follow-up, 2008’s “Shogun,” and subsequent releases.

    Trivium ROCKS!!!!!

    by iguanarock on 10/5/09Glass House - Pomona

    Well, this is the second time I've seen them at the Glass House in Pomona. The first time was their FIRST headlining tour, and this time, the second time, was their SECOND headlining tour!! Both times they were totally AWESOME!!!! It's great to go to shows where you can get a little more personal with the band when you're in front of the stage and Trivium really like to interact with their crowd. I love these guys, they're awesome performers and entertainers and awesome song writers. Check out their next show if you can!!

    by DrummerWithAPenis on 10/4/09House of Blues Las Vegas - Las Vegas

    Previous to this concert, I had never heard of darkest hour or white chapel. They were on the bill for one reason, they deserved to be. They really blew me away and Each band got better and better until the one hour peak when Trivium came out. THEY HAVE TO COME BACK SOON

    Darkest Hour ruled!!!

    by thehund on 10/3/09Ventura Theatre - Ventura

    I went to this concert for Darkest Hour and I had heard that WhiteChapel would be great. I had never heard of Dirge Within and hardly listened to Trivim. The night started out with Dirge Within. Even though they had the least amount of people they made up for it with their engery. The mosh pit was very good. The next band was Darkest Hour and I was hoping that they would be amazing, they delivered and more. Each song they played was better then the last. My favorite song was "Saddist Nation" and they performed it in a way that was even better than on the CD and the mosh pit was amazing. The third band was Whitechapel, and I was kind of looking forward to seeing them, and they were better then i was expecting. They played some good songs. Finally Trivim played the place was nearly packed. I was suprised about how good they were. I would almost say that I might actually pick up one of their CDs. The gave a great performance and the mosh pit was at times amazing other times it was empty. Over-all I would have to say the concert was worth it.

    Trivium= Absolute Best

    by Metaloscar on 10/2/09Glass House - Pomona

    Dude even though it was just last night, i would seriously like to relive it all over again and again. Trivium was awesome, those guys can throw a show, and the venue was pretty good. It was not as small as i had exected, and sound quality was really good from anywhere you can hear it from.

    Trivium Killed It

    by TheIronMaiden12 on 10/1/09Orbit Room - Grand Rapids

    Trivium is my all time favorite band and I love seeing them. They played a ton of songs and even through "technical difficulty" kept the show going. If they ever come near your town, you would be stupid to not go see them.

    talented Trivium

    by ironfist on 9/28/09Wonder Ballroom - Portland

    Good concert overall. but Trivium should tour with more alike bands I think: Whitechapel played just before them, and those are completely different styles... Sound/Audio could be better too... but that was probably the venue, not sure.

    The Definition 'OF' ROCK ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    by MrAK67 on 9/27/09Wonder Ballroom - Portland

    Trivium's Show at Crystal Ballroom: Trivium: Rocked the entire venue to the very core; The epiphany 'OF' metal with a lead singer that sounds like David Lee Roth. Whitechapel: REAL metal with real lyrics ... VERY good. Dirge Within: Well executed with decent sound. Darkest Hour: A regurgitation of all the worthless miserable pathetic "Shhh" in the world and a disgrace to the genre of Metal.

    Best concert I've ever been to!

    by TriviumFuckYeah on 9/27/09Wonder Ballroom - Portland

    The whole show was great. All the opening bands (Dirge Within, Darkest Hour, Whitechapel) for Trivium put on great performances. It all got me super pumped for the main Trivium act. What I also really liked was that the Wonder Ballroom would actually let us get stamped on the wrist and leave to get drinks from our car or put stuff we bought in the car and then come back in. When Trivium was finally up, they played a wonderful face melting show for over 2 hours, but it really only seemed like 30 minutes. Time really flies when you're having fun. There was a punk circle going on in the middle of the mosh pit and the intensity stayed up at a top level for the whole show and everyone was super cool. See Trivium if you ever get the chance.

    Trivium marches on!

    by Utomneian on 9/20/09Eagles Club/The Rave/Eagles Ballroom - Milwaukee

    Into the mouth of hell we tour, this is a show to behold. they always well plan out their shows, trying their best to be perfect, though with a couple mistakes, but its a proof that they aren't just playing a pre-recorded CD or something. they are social people, very energetic, crowd pleasing, and they sometimes enjoy trying to play some of their songs faster tempo than usual. for meet and greet, they are nice, friendly, and never call them "hardcore" music, matt heafy corrected me when i talked to him "you guys are one of the first hardcore bands i started listening to" / "no, "metal" band"... lol Trivium is still one of the most kickingest concerts to see, hail metal! p.s. i don't remember the exact setlist correctly, but i'm 95 % sure

    Trivium=Chaos!

    by Merciless9Maggot on 9/20/09Eagles Club/The Rave/Eagles Ballroom - Milwaukee

    Trivium's show last night was amazing! Dirge Within opened up and played the besty songs off their new release Force Fed Lies. Next was Darkest Hour with their shredding guitarists filling the room with noice. Then came the mighty Whitechapel who tore The Rave apart. The singer screamed "This Is Exile!" and then there were mosh pits everywhere. None of this compared to when Trivium came on though. They opened with the furious song Kirisute Gomen and already a huge circle pit had opened. On Down From the Sky everyone was passing crowd surfers to the front and the whole room exploded when Trivium played Throes of Perdition. Overall it was great from the first band to the last I can't wait to see them in my hometown of Chicago! P.S. This was my third time seeing Trivium live but the first seeing them headlining they get better each time!
