About

Formed in 2008 in Austin, TX, by Chad Cisneros and David Reed, Tritonal are one of the most successful US electronic music duos of the past decade, today counting nearly 1B collective streams across their discography, which comprises three artist albums, +200 originals and remixes, and six Top 10 hits on Billboard's electronic charts.

In May 2011, Tritonal released their debut album, 'Piercing the Quiet,' one of their first successes. They followed up with the three-part 'Metamorphic' EP series (2013-2014), which marked Tritonal's expansion into new genres and featured their breakout hits, "Now or Never" and "Anchor."

In Sept. 2016, Tritonal released their second album, 'Painting With Dreams,' which has garnered +140M streams on Spotify alone. Their third album, 'U & Me' (June 2019), which features collaborations with Sultan + Shepard, platinum singer-songwriter Mozella and multi-platinum artist Rachel Platten, reached the Top 10 on Billboard's Dance/Electronic Album Sales chart. Tritonal's 4th and most recent album was released at the beginning of 2021 as an hour long meditation piece. Unique to their existing catalog, Reverence was made in the height of the pandemic from more of a calling than anything else to serve their fans and provide art with a motive of introspection. 'Coalesce' shortly followed as the duos 5th LP, showcasing a true emergence both sonically and creatively.

Cisneros and Reed are also co-owners of the tastemaker label Enhanced Music, which counts nearly 2,000 releases since its launch in 2008. Dubbed "the label that delivers tune after tune" by Mixmag, Enhanced now embarks on their 15th year as a label, celebrating with a national tour both for Tritonal and their labelmates.

In addition to 'Tritonia,' their globally streamed weekly radio show, Tritonal have headlined the world's leading festivals, including EDC Las Vegas, Lollapalooza, and Ultra Music Festival.

by Cactus Jack on 4/2/19Buckhead Theatre presented by Cricket Wireless - Atlanta

Tritonal was on that Illenium game, they played my favorite Tritonal hits and had a great mix of high energy and feels, Shaun Frank rocked the house and brought the crowd to new heights and Disco Fries always brings their A game. ABSOLUTELY LOVE Tritonal and would recommend to anyone and will be seeing them again next time they come around this way.

Tritonal is always amazing. Haven is a great club to see them. I've seen them about 7 times and every time is just as good as the last.

    Totally worth getting pneumonia for!

by whitefangv on 10/11/16Terminal 5 - New York

It was pouring rain that night and I was already sick and not to mention sleep deprived and of course I forgot to bring my raincoat. So after a half mile walk to the event and a 20 minute wait I finally got in. The venue itself is pretty cool. There are three levels all with great views but the dance floor is where you wanna be. The stage and lighting effects are awesome although the bass was a bit wahsed out. Nobody really comes for the undercard but the opening acts kept me entertained. Now for the main event, Tritonal they were freaking amazing. I saw them play previously at Moonrise Festival and they were even better that night. They played all my favorite songs and brought a ton of energy. If you ever get an opportunity to see them play you owe it to yourself to not miss it.

by Anonymous on 9/27/16Fox Theater - Oakland - Oakland

The show and production was amazing. The venue was great as well kind of wish that there was more burst of cold air. Tritonal always gives a good show. Can't wait to see them again.

    Seeing and feeling butterflies!

by RaverTypeR on 9/27/16Fox Theater - Oakland - Oakland

Great mix of current and older styles of music. The stage lighting was OK, but the DJ's actual set lighting was up to par with all the current good DJs.

    Unforgettable night

    by VinsfMenon415 on 9/27/16Fox Theater - Oakland - Oakland

Tritonal put on an amazing show. Just such an amazing set. Looking forward to the next time I can see them again. The venue was not the best though. The AC was definitely not on point and people were hot and sweaty as hell. Also the show ended at 11:30 even though it said 1 on the ticket.

    Unreal show!

    by Callen55047 on 5/29/14Commodore Ballroom - Vancouver

I've seen tritonal twice now, and both times I've walked about with the same opinion: they have put on the greatest live show I've ever seen! Those 2 absolutely rock the dance floor with their unbelievable energy and upbeat tracks!! If you have never seen a love EDM show before, or if you go to them all the time, you won't be disappointed regardless! At this rate these 2 are gonna make top DJ's in the world before they know it!

What an incredible night at a great venue!!! Tritonal was definitely putting out great tracks and making everybody feel the "Electric Glow" that night!!! So many great people came out to show their love and support for Tritonal, and both Chad and Dave gave the same energy back to all their supportive Tritonians!!! Tritonians Unite!!!

    Wet, Cold, and Unorganized.

    by Matt3598 on 5/12/13SoundGarden Hall - Philadelphia

Soundgarden oversold their club to the point where the fire department had to show up every ten minutes and make people leave because it was too packed. I'm an expereinced show goer and am used to crowded venues, but I had never experienced anything as unpeasant as this. It also didn't help that even though I had already bought my ticket weeks before, they were letting people in that hadn't bought a ticket, whereas I was forced to wait outside for an hour in the cold rain. I will never come back to Soundgarden and suggest that anyone looking at attending a show here stays away. Absolutely awful.
