    MORE ENRIQUE

by swedendude on 12/4/10Event Center at San Jose State University - San Jose

The fact that Nelly didnt even sing in his on chorus or that Miranda sang covers made my expectations not come true. Jay Sean was trying to do what Enrique did and E was the outstanding artist this evening.

    Too Loud

by Charlotte450 on 12/4/10Event Center at San Jose State University - San Jose

Sound system was way too loud. My hearing was not back to normal until 2 days after the show. Absolutely terrible sound quality. It was so loud the music was distorted and did not sound like the same songs when played on the radio. I could not understand the spoken words of the musicians in between songs because the sound was so badly distorted. Had no idea what they were saying. The police presence was not nearly adequate for the crowd. I was stuck on the 280 freeway exit for at least half an hour, hardly moving an inch per every 5 minutes, and it was the same traffic jam situation all the way to the parking garage. Therefore, I missed the artist I wanted to see the most, Taio Cruz, as he apparently was the first one on the show at 7:30. So mad! Heard all the others who were not the ones I wanted to see as much. While waiting in my car, heard on 99.7 FM that I could have stayed home and watched the whole show on my computer. Why did they not say this earlier? I would have stayed home, saved my money and my eardrums, and would have gotten to see the one person I really wanted to see perform. So it was a total waste of time and money. Turn down the sound, please. You are going to make all the young people deaf with the sound turned up that high. Forgot to bring my earplugs. Should have known better. Terrible. The musicians were actually pretty good, but I could not appreciate them because of the noise level. It did not do any good to clap, as no one could hear the applause over the huge racket.

Enrique sang just 4 songs. Paid 80 bucks. Do the math.

Movin 99.7 Plays all the Hits!

by KynRoo on 12/3/10Event Center at San Jose State University - San Jose

The concert overall was great! The sound in the Event Center wasn't the greatest and Nelly was very hard to hear or understand, but other than that it was awesome! Movin 99.7 put on a great show with amazing artists!

    Great Start to the Holidays!

by JasTay on 12/3/10Event Center at San Jose State University - San Jose

The Triple Ho Show was worth every penny. The line-up was amazing, albeit a bit awkward. Taio Cruz came on before the significantly lesser-known Miranda Cosgrove, and Jay Sean ended up closing the concert, instead of Nelly or Enrique Iglesias. All of the acts were good, but the dj in between sets often left much to be desired, as he made awkward transitions and had issues with the sound. However, the combination of Far East Movement and Jay Sean, perhaps the least hyped sets on the line-up, more than made up for my complaints. Far East Movement definitely knows how to start a party, and Jay Sean proved that he deserves to headliner - he was absolutely amazing, and out of all of the acts, I left wanting to see him again more than anyone else.

I love Enrique!! Far East Movement was unbelievabl

by MariAndmari on 12/3/10Event Center at San Jose State University - San Jose

The concert was awesome! Could have done without icarly.. Ear piercing vocals, and Kay Sean vocals were weird as well.. Not clear.. Everyone else rocked!!! I was very sad Enrique didn't sing more.. And wasn't headliner! The event center was great too!

    Triple Ho

by OldFart408 on 12/3/10Event Center at San Jose State University - San Jose

Although I was probably one of the oldest attendees to the show - I had a great time none the less. What a great line-up, although I would have loved to have seen less of Miranda & more of Taio - so that was unfortunate. Although not a huge fan of Nelly's music, he rocked it & probably gave his fans the biggest bang for their buck fitting in several of his songs. I was impressed with Far East Movement, the sleeper act for me - their energy was addictive, and any group that has a giant monkey doing the running man on stage gets my vote! But Enrique by far was the most entertaining, and was a real show man. Props to Jay Sean for closing down the show, although his DJ needs to learn to riff more than "San Jose, make some noise for Jaaaaaay Sean" not sure how many times he said that! And the space alien sound effect after every song, even after slow love songs...uhmmm, no. It was a GREAT SHOW, fun venue to be so close to the performers & I liked how they kept the show moving - starting right on time and running through the acts.

Jay Sean, Enrique Iglesias, and Far East Movement

by Sarsha on 12/3/10Event Center at San Jose State University - San Jose

Overall the show was wonderful. The venue was small but that means better seats. Who ever is in charge of sound, needs to find another job. Throughout the show they had sound issues. The microphone wasn't working well and there was even feedback!!! Taio Cruz was ok. I could say pass on Miranda Crosgrow. Far East Movement rocked the house. Constant music and smooth transitions. Jay Sean was awesome too! He's got some major talent. And last and the best of all was Enrique... he pulled this one woman on stage and sang her the addicted song.!!!!

Overall I thought the show was good. I was, however, very disappointed that Enrique only sang 4 songs and didn't close the show. I was very excited to see Taio Cruz, but because he opened (poor planning I think), I missed him due to traffic and poorly planned parking.

I'm glad that there was a DJ to entertain us while they were fixing up the stage for the next performer.

    Triple Ho Show was great!

by supermom17 on 12/3/10Event Center at San Jose State University - San Jose

I took my daughters to the concert and they had a great time. It was amazing and the crowd was full of energy. Everyone was having a great time and there were no issues or problems that night. The only change that should have been made is that "Miranda Cosgrove" should not have been with these artists. She really didn't fit in. Someone like "Keisha" would have been a better choice. But the show was very enjoyable and worth the price of the tickets.

    Triple No Show

by DisappListener on 12/3/10Event Center at San Jose State University - San Jose

As in NO NO NO going to this show ever again. First off I was charged full price for seats maybe 10 rows from the farthest location which was crap. Especially knowing they never sold out for this show and I bought my tickets two months early. Then they announce blocks of good seats being release a week before the event. As for the performers Enrique was about the only one who had his music and vocals to where you could hear both. Far East Movement was good and I was impressed by them. As for the rest I think the chick from iCarly did about the best job over Nelly and the rest considering she's what 13 and just trying to learn how to put on a show.

    We had a Blast!!!

by Lovett on 12/3/10Event Center at San Jose State University - San Jose

We had a Blast! From purchasing the tickets to the day of the event.. All the Artist where better than expected.. The security did a great job with checking our bags, and didn't make us feel violated. The bartender ladies close to the Section 14 and 15 where awesome and very friendly... A few things could have made it alittle better.. some Christmas decor, crazy lights, or sprinkles, something to open the show with the Ho Ho Ho experience..(Santa was good). Sell some tshirts to remember the momment.. We still had a great time. Nice Job!

    Average concert, terrible acoustics!

by PBoyz on 12/3/10Event Center at San Jose State University - San Jose

The show started bang on time - so lots of people who were late missed the opening act - Taio Cruz. Luckily we were on time! Jay Sean and Enriquie Iglesias we great. The other artists weren't. I think a lot of that may be because the acoustics were terrible and/or the sub-woofer was way too loud, drowning out the lyrics and conversations the artists had with the audience. Frankly - I think the sound engineers could have done a much better job or perhaps they were listening to the DJs requests to increase the volume for the subs.

Too short appearances of the main acts

by thetouristx on 12/3/10Event Center at San Jose State University - San Jose

There was a good atmosphere, the audience was great, The sound was good, but only 3-4 songs from the main acts is way too short, would have liked to see 30-40 min from each of them there was time for that in the event plan, and that would have set the roof on fire.
