Trey Songz Concert Schedule

Singer and actor Trey Songz picked up the R&B lothario mantle from Usher in the mid-00s with a seductive and suggestive sound that spawned multiple chart-toppers, gold-selling albums and Grammy nominations. The double threat has further cemented his loverman reputation on the stage with headline tours, such as 2017's Tremaine, 2015's Bittersweet and 2012's Gotta Make It, as well as joint treks with Ne-Yo and Chris Brown. Beefing up his catalogue of US Hot 100 hits with a full live band, the Trey Songz live experience provides plenty of passion, raunch and opportunities to bump and grind.

Trey Songz Background

Born Tremaine Aldon Neverson in Petersburg, Virginia, in 1984, Songz first began performing at various talent shows in his mid-teens. After graduating high school, he moved to New Jersey, where he landed a deal with Atlantic Records in 2003. After dropping various mixtapes under the guise of The Prince of Virginia, Trey Songz released his debut album, I Gotta Make It, in 2005 under his more familiar moniker. Home to his first solo US Top 20 single, "Can't Help But Wait," 2007 sophomore effort Trey Day was followed two years later by Ready, a Grammy-nominated affair that featured hit collaborations with Drake, Gucci Mane and Fabolous, and helped him pick up Best Male R&B Artist at the 2010 BET Awards. An MTV Unplugged show, support slot on Jay-Z's The Blueprint 3 tour and behind-the-scenes documentary series, My Moment, kept him in the spotlight before 2010's Passion, Pain and Pleasure spawned his biggest hit, "Bottoms Up," featuring Nicki Minaj. Songz's winning streak continued with 2012's Chapter V, which peaked at No.1 on the Billboard 200 with first-week sales of over 130,000, 2014's chart-topping follow-up, Trigga, and a Soul Train Music Award for Best R&B/Soul Artist Male, not to mention acting performances in Texas Chainsaw 3D and Baggage Claim. After several stopgap releases, Songz returned in 2017 with a seventh studio effort, the largely guest-free Tremaine the Album. By this point he'd amassed over 8.7 million followers on Instagram and 13 million on Twitter.

All of the artists did a great job and showed up despite the blizzard. The Little Caesars Arena Sound System was horrible.

    Fall back in love tour

by Bean on 2/27/23American Airlines Center - Dallas

It was horrible first time being at Airlines Dallas Tx so I was all excited ready to go me and my husband we got there. We ask where we were going to be seated they got it is to the levels where we’re gonna be seated at OMG had no idea that I hate that seats way in the sky . Not the top that how about when we get to the set to sit down we couldn’t hear anything. The curtain was hiding the half show. It was just sad and I was like who would sell someone tickets where you couldn’t see the stage. My husband was so uncomfortable. We stayed about 45 minutes wasted $200 and left. And I have been with Ticketmaster for a very long time. Never had a problem with this with a bad issue. I am 50 years old I am not a young person. I am scared of heights me & my husband for our age. So I was very disappointed money was lost. I didn’t even get to see anybody basically because when we got there they were doing comedy show.

    Wonderful experience

by Bree on 2/27/23American Airlines Center - Dallas

My evening started off wrong with my outfit mishap. But when we made it to the concert parking was easy and only 7 dollars. A lot of people was still showing up at 815 and there wasn’t a long wait at all. They had enough doors open and enough security to make it a breeze. Got inside they had a nice choice of options on what to drink and or eat. We had got a frozen margarita that was good a lil pricy but it was ok I knew to expect that. Finding our seats also a breeze and somebody there to help. We sit down and about 15 mins later the show started! From the host to the opening act it was AMAZING! The comedians definitely was funny. The singers were great! I love love Monica her performance was my favorite! Her audio seemed a lil off but still understood and was singing right with her! Trey Songz is also my fav! And he know how to perform so u know he Did his thang! It was a very good night everybody showed up and showed out!!

    Fun Going out

by Hi, my name is on 2/27/23American Airlines Center - Dallas

I enjoyed the music and the comedians that participated in the show. There were some minor things like the audio and the rushing of the acts that needs some improvement. The seating is super small and tòo close that made it uncomfortable.

    Could have been better

by Ty on 2/27/23American Airlines Center - Dallas

The sound was horrible, lighting was horrible, screens weren't clear and could have been bigger. Performances could have been longer than 3 songs.

    Cool

by Dee on 2/27/23American Airlines Center - Dallas

It was cool. Next time I’ll buy better sits because I was to high up and it made me uncomfortable. And the concert was a bit long too many comedians that wasn’t that funny. But I loved the dj and the singers

Cool experience but could’ve been better

by KP on 2/27/23American Airlines Center - Dallas

Production was very frustrating. The lighting, sound, and stage operation was just sad to watch. DJ Kid Capri seemed to be distracted, rude, and not following the cues of the artists. Mario was excellent and the best performer/ singer of the night. Monica was good but the sound and lighting made her set frustrating to watch. The night could have gone without Jacquees and Trey Songs to be honest. I left after the first song that Trey Songs sang. All the comedians were pretty good. I’d watch them in the improv but not necessarily in a stadium.

    Fall back in love tour

The event was a pretty good event for the R&B artist. I wish the comedy portion had more time to do more jokes. But overall it was a good event.

    Production issues

The artist did great, however there was so many production issues that made it hard to enjoy the show.

    It could have been better

by Dee on 2/27/23American Airlines Center - Dallas

My opinion on the concert is that I feel like it was a rushed event. Nobody truly rehearsed and the lighting and sound was very off. I’m not blaming it on the artist because they did good I think American Airlines Arena wasn’t the place for this concert.
