Amazing show!!!! Seemed like a personal show I would have hand picked myself! Great cause and a great night!!!
great show just wish they would have played a longer set.
Mark was terrfic as always. But in a place like the Beaumont it was way too loud. Had to move to the back of the room to enjoy the music.
Show was awesome. I was a little upset more people didn't turn out for the show and hope this will not keep them from returning. They gave 110% anyway like they were playing for a sold out stadium.......class act and true professional.
I've seen Mark play with Creed and Alter Bridge many times and he never failed to be anything other than amazing, however with All I Was, it was obvious that Mark was now completely immersed in his element. From the start, Mark's riffs were unrelenting as he and Eric Friedman complemented each other superbly. Teamed with the unforgiving drums of Garret Whitlock and the intricate bass playing of Wolfgang Van Halen, these guys are nothing short of a metal super group. Mark's songs are filled with anger and emotion and this is very apparent in his surprisingly impressive vocals. After the show, Mark, Eric, Garrett and Wolfie were gracious enough to sign merch and take photos with the fans - you just don't see this kind of commitment enough with artists anymore but I would expect nothing less from a stand-up guy like Mark. Of course, you can't have just an amazing band headline without providing an equally as impressive opener. Man the Mighty pulled this off flawlessly. Derek Smith and Tim Tournier showed incredible skill with guitars and never lost a beat with Tyler on bass and Matt on drums. Man the Mighty's songs have massive energy and carried their momentum through the entire set. I felt like I got to see 2 headliners at one show. Definitely look for their album "I Am Icarus" coming soon from Fret12!
The show was absolutely amazing! Mark Tremonti is extremely talented & love his music. Got to see Wolfgang also... how sick is that!
METAL IS BACK!!!!! How cool to be able to see this great band in such a small venue playing their entire debut album live along with a bonus track....fantastic intimate show. Was able to meet the entire band and get up close in personal. I've been a fan of Mark's other bands since their inceptions and this is by far his best stuff (and I'm a big Creed/AB fan). Do not miss this show, who knows when you will get this opportunity again with a few dates left on this tour, then off to the UK, then he gets back together with AB, it will be a while before you get this chance again....Eric compliments Mark nicely on the guitar and backing vocals, Garrett kills it on the drums and what a great addition with Wolfgang Van Halen on bass/backing vocals....just a stellar combo of musicians and super nice guys...DO NOT MISS THIS SHOW AND BUY THE CD NOT A BAD SONG ON IT....
This is about as close as you will come to seeing a show in your basement, cause the Chameleon Club is as about as nice as the average one. But wow what a place to see a show up close and personal. Was upstairs side stage with my son and looked straight down on the stage. Think the first two relatively unknown openers went on about three songs too long each, but Tremonti was well worth the wait.
Great show, was impressed with Mark's vocals and of course the guitars were screamin' !!!
What an amazing show!! Got there an hour before doors opened so could be towards the front of the line. Wolfgang Van Halen and Eric Freidman walked through a few times and were very cool guys. The opening Act, Man the Mighty was very very good. Only down side was doors opened about 45 min late, and started about an hour late, but to be understood with the change of venue and limited space avail. on the stage at Bottom Lounge. (Not complaining at all, just stating facts, but no matter was an amazing venue and show!!!) Once Tremonti came on stage the crowd just erupted and every single person in the room was connected. Would see it again if were in the area!!! Getting to meet Mark, Wolfgane, Eric and Garrett 30 min after the show was great. Also met Michael Angelo Batio who was there to support Mark and got Pix with Batio. No pix allowed with the band in order to keep the long line moving, but they guys were genuine nice guys and would recommend this show to everyone!!
