About

Established country singer Travis Tritt has delivered a healthy dose of mainstream country with Southern rock influence to ticket holders nationwide since his 1990 arrival with the double-platinum debut “Country Club.” The only hat-less country star of that era (consider his counterparts Garth Brooks, Clint Black and Alan Jackson, for example), the Georgia-born performer has stayed busy ever since. His extensive discography is comprised of 11 studio releases and 39 singles that made it onto Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart. “Here’s a Quarter (Call Someone Who Cares),” “Can I Trust You With My Heart,” “Anymore” and “T-R-O-U-B-L-E” are among the most popular Tritt hits.   Tritt has hit the tour trail several times over the years with fellow country crooner and close friend Marty Stuart, though most recently, the singer/songwriter has tackled solo acoustic concerts across the United States. His latest release, “The Calm After…,” is a reworked re-release of 2007’s “The Storm,” co-produced by former “American Idol” judge Randy Jackson.

    Travis Great - Venue NOT!!!

by mrbillh on 8/23/09Rusty Spur - Fort Wayne

We've seen Travis in concert 4 times prior to this event. We knew what to expect and got it! However: Show was advertised and printed on tickets to start at 7 PM. We found ourselves in a long line that did not even get in the door until 7! The decent opening act started at 8. It was 10 PM before Travis took stage. Tickets showed a row and seat number. Was not to be. 650 folks squished into a bar, about 500 standing. Lots of booze sold in the THREE HOURS from advertised start time to actual show time. We, I think reasonably, expected a 7 PM show and did not get it til 10... Won't happen again.

    Travis was spectacular

by 3610 on 8/23/09Rusty Spur - Fort Wayne

The concert at The Rusty Spur on Friday night was great. The acoustical performance was as if we were sitting in his living room (which is how he also described it). To see a performer up close, with only his guitar and sounding this great was amazing! I would definately recommend Travis Tritt in the future and especially if it was as intimate of a setting as this concert was!

    Travis Acousticly Fantastic

by Travfan on 8/22/09Rusty Spur - Fort Wayne

This is the fourth time I have seen Travis. The first three times were in a concert setting and I must say this acoustic performance beats all three concerts put together. The acoustic performance showed how truely talented Travis is at playing the guitar and to the crowd. It also was great because there was no loud drums or lead guitarist interfering and drownding out his voice. I will definitely go to another acoustic performance again.

    Travis Tritt was incredible!!

by sunshine77 on 8/22/09Rusty Spur - Fort Wayne

I had not been to the Rusty Spur in Forty Wayne, IN in the past, so I didn't know what to expect when my boyfriend and I entered. I thought there would be more seating available to the audience. Standing for 4 hours was a little discomforting on the feet. The outstanding Travis Tritt was amazing just like the concert I saw him in 2007. He puts on a great show and would recommend him in concert anywhere!!

    Travis was awsome

by ttrittG8 on 8/22/09Rusty Spur - Fort Wayne

Travis Tritt was outstanding as usual!! The performace was very professional and he performed as if he was in a 10000+venue. A man and a guitar-When it is Travis Tritt that is all you need. The location was to crowded. The opening act was poor. The smoking and drinking was too much. Someone like Travis Tritt deserved a much better atmosphere to entertain.

by Caribbeanwoman on 8/22/09Rusty Spur - Fort Wayne

this was amazing! however it should have been held at a bigger bar with more seating. Travis was wonderful as usual. i would definately do again. well worth the time and money, even though we had to stand the entire evening.

    Travis Tritt

by Schultzie1234 on 8/19/09House of Blues Myrtle Beach - Myrtle Beach

I thought Travis Tritt was awesome. The only problem I had with the concert was the sound. I could not hear the words to all the songs. They would get the sound working for a minute then it would fade again.

    Late and Short.

by BillyRay2 on 8/19/09Mavericks Rock N' Honky Tonk - Jacksonville

The 6:00pm concert started at 10:00pm...with no notice to the patron. Then after standing around all for 2 hous to get in and 3 more inside to hear Travis Tritt, he comes on for an hour, half of which he was talking not playing. Plays his last song and says " Good Night" and is off the stage like he's being shot at. Come if you make everyone wait 4+ hours to hear you play you could at least pretend like you care about your fans, and give them a show worth thier time and money. Addtionaly the venue had thier microphones cranked up way to loud for this "acoustic" concert, most of the songs were garbbled.

Travis Tritt could have been better organized

by jobee on 8/18/09Mavericks Rock N' Honky Tonk - Jacksonville

I was dissapointed that they stated the doors would open at 6:00pm and didn't open till almost 7:00pm.Then there was standing only and not enough tables and chairs.Travis Tritt was very good just seemed like it was way too long before we actually got to see him perform. They didn't start performaces untill 9:45pm when advertisement said 8:00pm. That was very dissapointing.

Travis Tritt was good but took forever to come on

by GisMom on 8/17/09Revolution Live - Ft Lauderdale

Doors opened at 8pm...2 backup bands...and finally at around 10:20 pm Travis Tritt finally came on stage! Too crowded of a place to wait over 2 hrs (plus the 1 hour on line outside!). His bus was outside at 7pm so the show really should have started earlier or at least advise people that 10pm or so is starting time so you don't stand around so long if you don't want to (venue was general admission..and no seats). Travis Tritt was good in general, but not worth the wait.

by Qsue on 8/17/09Mavericks Rock N' Honky Tonk - Jacksonville

I have seen him several times and he has never let me down. He IS BY FAR THE BEST COUNTRY performer there is. It took way too long for you to open the doors.

    Travis was on fire...as usual!!!

by Frontrowjax on 8/17/09Revolution Live - Ft Lauderdale

Throughly enjoyed Travis, of course, from the front row. I have seen him 9 other times in mostly larger venues. I was excited to see him for my 10th time in his "accoustical" version (although I do love Wendyl Cox and the rest of his band!) Weather you're a country fan or not, I would highly recommend a Travis Tritt Concert to anyone that wants to experience a "Top Notch Performance"--once you go...you know!!! Trust me, when I say 5 stars...Amazing!!...I mean it!!

    Travis was great as always

by JoeyinFL on 8/17/09Mavericks Rock N' Honky Tonk - Jacksonville

Travis was wonderful! He always is! Our only issue is that the bar did not have a good enough sound system to do justice to his his show.

    Travis Tritt was flawless!!

by Chrader on 8/17/09Revolution Live - Ft Lauderdale

I have never heard a better solo artist and his voice is just as fantastic live as it is on the radio!!!! He is very personable and really has a way of connecting with his audience. I would definitely see Travis again and recommend him to others. The only diappointment of the evening is that he didn't perform "Tell me I was Dreaming". It is my all time favorite of his!! He definiely should add it to his play list!! Overall, one of the BEST concerts I have ever seen!!!

by Ddallas1060 on 8/17/09Mavericks Rock N' Honky Tonk - Jacksonville

This was the first time i have seen Travis Tritt he was unbelieveable, and i'm not really a country music person but i would go see him again,he needs to play some where else instead of a bar like St. Augustine ampitheater you can get more people there. Next time he should play more songs the ones he did were great but there's alot i didn't hear,he has a awsome voice and boy he can play the guitar.

    Great Show

by zzsis1 on 8/17/09Revolution Live - Ft Lauderdale

Really enjoyed Travis Trit. He played all the faves I listen to that made me want to go in the first place. it was an acoustic show so his guitar skills were very obvious. I loved the venue.... Revolution Live. The show was in a stage area, with plenty of room for fans to get right down next to the performance, and was surrounded by the main floor with balcony view of the show. There were no seats, but a bar and lounge set up. Great views of performers. Lots of fun. I would go see him again.

    Seeing Travis was so amazing!

by sherry1 on 8/17/09House of Blues Myrtle Beach - Myrtle Beach

To be able to see Travis up close next to the stage was amazing. With only the sound of his unique voice, and a single guitar, was like sitting in his own living room. He played continuously, and joked a bit in between. His smile and his stories were proof that he is a very down to earth home boy. He loved seeing the bar packed full just for him. He is so talented. This small gig was a wonderful way to see the real Travis Tritt. He played his most popular tunes, maybe some unrecorded tunes, and tributes to his closest friends. This was worth the 8 hour drive, the 5 hours of standing, and all the other associated expenses we incurred on this wonderful trip. If only we could have met him afterwards........
