The holidays rock a whole lot harder than they ever have thanks to Trans-Siberian Orchestra. By infusing seasonal classics with rock flamboyance, a symphonic sense of scope, and an eye-popping visual presentation complete with lasers and pyrotechnics, what began as a side project for a veteran group of American hard rockers has grown into one of today's top-selling acts, with over 10 million concert tickets sold since 1999.
Now, to celebrate the band's 20th year on the road, Trans-Siberian Orchestra is mounting an all-new production of the show that first turned them into an arena-rock phenomenon. First performed in 1999 and recorded for a TV special – which became just as much of a holiday staple as ‘The Sound of Music' – ‘The Ghosts of Christmas Eve' was conceived by Paul O'Neill, TSO's original mastermind. A veteran producer for acts like Aerosmith and Savatage, O'Neill was inspired by the rock operas of The Who and the grandly theatrical concerts of Pink Floyd to create something that was even more spectacular. Together with Savatage members Jon Oliva, Bob Kinkel, and Al Pitrelli, O'Neill developed a unique project that married the spirit of the season with all the exhilarating sounds, operatic grandeur, and visual bravura that fans had come to expect of rock gods. After the massive success of TSO's first two albums, ‘Christmas Eve and Other Stories' and ‘The Christmas Attic,' O'Neill and his team took it on the road (and TV screens) with similarly blockbuster results.
Though TSO's repertoire would extend far beyond holiday songs to encompass the greats of classical music on ‘Beethoven's Last Night' and O'Neill's own original rock operas like ‘Night Castle,' their thrilling and highly singular take on seasonal music remains their trademark. Tragically, O'Neill's passing in 2017 robbed the music world of a true visionary. But his team of friends and collaborators in the Trans-Siberian Orchestra honor his legacy with a new production of ‘The Ghosts of Christmas Past' that both preserves and revitalizes a landmark merger of music, theatrics, storytelling, and seasonal cheer that yielded an international phenomenon.

This was my first time seeing Trans Siberian Orchestra. It was a bucket list concert for me and TSO did not disappoint! It was absolutely mesmerizing! The lights, the story, the quality of the musicians - all of it more than exceeded my expectations. I will definitely be going back for years to come!

Unbelievable again this year and the DRONES...........WOW. A little smokey tho at end.... BUT worth it. THEY are the best group going. We have attended for 17 years here in AZ and other places. LOVE them.
Sensory overload! Between the lights, pyrotechnics, lasers. synchronized illuminated drones, massive projections, smoke, snow, multiple platforms and stages and actual fireworks, it was insane! Oh yeah, the actual musical talent was also spectacular, their stage presence is incredible, what a well oiled machine. While when we originally purchased the tickets, I thought the price was kind of steep, after seeing this production, I can honestly say it was worth every cent. I think this production was also a testament to one hell of a road crew as well.
3rd year in a row seeing TSO - always spectacular. From the light show, pyrotechnics to the powerful performances - you can’t go wrong. It’s a great way to get into the Christmas spirit.
We have seen TSO many times. This show was reimagined and just fabulous. They even incorporated drones. Well done TSO!!! We will surely look forward to next years show. Happy Holidays!
This was the 15th time I’ve seen TSO perform and this was the best show I’ve ever seen. The whole experience was incredible. The graphics were better, the sound was better, the overall flow of the show was better, the use of the drones was unbelievable!
They put on such a great show, between the talented singers and musicians, the light show, the graphics and high energy performances- it couldn’t have been better!
Our fifth visit to the astounding world of TSO was terrific. Great seats, incredible music, and maybe the very best visuals in rock 'n' roll today.
I have seen TSO many times but I loved all the new ways they did their show! Lots of lights, fire, and amazing backdrop on the screens. The music is always amazing with such talented musicians. The signers were over the top incredible. Loved the show and will go again next year! If you haven't been, you have no idea what you're missing. There was a little girl that kept saying "amazing"after every song. There was an older gentleman, that said he had never seen anything like it before and that it was an awesome show. The show is for all ages so go and see for yourself!!
