About

Tracy Morgan is one of the most well-respected comedians and actors in his field. Known for starring on seven seasons of NBC's Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning 30 Rock, Morgan appeared opposite Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin as "Tracy Jordan," the unpredictable star of "Liz Lemon's" (Fey) hit variety show, TGS with Tracy Jordan. Morgan received an Emmy Nomination in the Supporting Actor category for his work on the show and was nominated multiple years for the Supporting Actor NAACP Image Award. The cast of the show also won the Screen Actors Guild Award for best Ensemble in a Comedy Series before the beloved series came to an end in January 2013. He was most recently seen on his No Disrespect nationwide stand up tour and will have new shows in 2023.

Morgan can be seen in four seasons of TBS' The Last OG, which he also executive produced and starred. He can be seen in Amazon's Coming 2 America alongside Eddie Murphy, Arsenio Hall and Jermaine Fowler, which was released in March 2021. He also appeared in Warner Brothers Scoob!, Paramount's What Men Want, opposite Taraji P. Henson, and voiced the role of "Fox" in Netflix's 2019 series Green Eggs & Ham. Morgan's stand up special Staying Alive was released globally on Netflix in May 2017. Prior, he received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in the 2016 class. Morgan was also nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series in 2016 for hosting an episode of the legendary Saturday Night Live.

In 2014, Morgan released a standup special for Comedy Central titled Tracy Morgan: Bona Fide, which brought the network one of its largest audiences for a standup special that year. Previously, his first stand up special, Black & Blue, was released on HBO in 2010. Another milestone for Morgan was reached in 2009 with the release of his first book, a compilation of studied anecdotes and some of the more serious moments that shaped him and his career, I Am the New Black.

Morgan has headlined across the country and abroad on various tours and festivals for his stand-up comedy. He was first introduced to television audiences in his role as "Hustle Man" on the hit comedy series Martin. He went on to join Saturday Night Live in 1996 where he appeared for seven seasons and created such memorable characters as "Astronaut Jones" and "Brian Fellows." After leaving SNL, Morgan went on to star in his own comedy series, The Tracy Morgan Show, and he voiced "Spoonie Luv" on Comedy Central's Crank Yankers. Additional film credits include Cop Out, the remake of the British film Death at a Funeral, First Sunday opposite Ice Cube and Katt Williams, The Longest Yard opposite Adam Sandler, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Head of State, Son of No One, Why Stop Now and Fist Fight.

Morgan currently resides in New Jersey.

    Pretty good show

by Kool on 12/3/23St. George Theatre - Staten Island

Tracy Morgan’s team were really good, very funny and nice. Tracy Morgan was ok, he was sick, he had a bad cough. And he kept looking at a cheat sheet paper to remind him on what to say next. His act is very vulgar, the crowd was mainly white couples and he didn’t care one bit. Cursing and saying intense sexual stuff. He was funny at times but overall not the best.

    He was horrible.

by Jam on 11/12/23Pearl Concert Theater at Palms Casino Resort - Las Vegas

Don’t waste your money. He is resting on the laurels of raunchy material that isn’t relevant or funny. This has nothing to do with his accident. It made me sad. He is so much more clever than this. The smartest thing he did was surround himself with other really funny comedians, especially John Laster and Pat Brown.

If you've seen him perform or on talk shows before, you'll know what to expect! Definitely an R-rated show but he and his friends put on an awesome night of comedy!

    Disappointing Experience

by Stevie Ray on 11/1/23Great Cedar Showroom at Foxwoods Resort Casino - Mashantucket

I had very high expectations for this show and have found Tracy to be funny in the past, but this show was terrible. He was not funny at all. There isn’t much more that I can say.

    Tracy Morgan at Charles Town

by MJinEC on 11/1/23Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races - Charles Town

Tracy only performed for slightly more than 30 minutes. He had to refer to his script each time he transitioned to a new bit. It was more raunchy the funny. It was not bad, it was just short and not memorable.

    Tracy Morgan was terrible

by Jim on 11/1/23Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races - Charles Town

The headliner comedian was either drunk or stoned for the performance. He was vulgar and basically not funny at all. The 2 warm up comedians were excellent and made the show, if it would have been just Tracy Morgan it would have been a waste of money..

    Meh

by D Reg on 10/31/23Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races - Charles Town

I keep coming to see Tracy because I keep thinking I caught him on a bad night when he was working on new material. This time was no different. Weak set by Morgan to say the least. The one positive this time was the opening acts, who actually had a well-formed set. I get the feeling Tracy is just laughing at us for paying money to see him deliver almost nothing.

    Not worth it

by I want to Laugh on 10/30/23Bergen Performing Arts Center - Englewood

2 of the 4 openers had an act, the others adlibbed at the expense of the audience. Then Tracy, an hour I will never get back. Same act as 10 years ago on the Howard Stern Show. I was very disappointed.

    Horrible

by eliz735 on 10/30/23Bergen Performing Arts Center - Englewood

This was the worst show ever. First hour was all warm up acts, it was like show time at the Apollo, which I'm cool with but didn't pay to see that. Tracy was vulgar, crude and beyond funny. His entire act was around raunchy sex. Im no prude but this was like boys in a school yard. Very disappointing, I expected more.

    Hilarious

by Jim D on 10/18/23Great Cedar Showroom at Foxwoods Resort Casino - Mashantucket

The show actually featured a few comedians prior to Tracy Morgan, which I was unaware of prior. Mr. Morgan was very funny, as usual. Be prepared however, this particular routine is VERY sexual and vulgar, beyond what I expected. I was not bothered by this, but several people actually left during his performance as his jokes/comments became more ribald and graphic. I laughed so hard it hurt.

A night of missed laughter, no punchline.

by Jacqmart on 10/17/23Ovation Hall at Ocean Casino Resort - Atlantic City

Comedy enthusiasts attended Tracy Morgan's show at Ocean in Atlantic City. There was great anticipation to witness the comedic prowess of Tracy Morgan. However, what unfolded on stage was an awkward evening. His performance seemed marred by a lack of preparation and unpolished delivery. It seemed like he was reading off script notes, it felt amateurish and hard to engage as an audience member and fan. His jokes were heavily lewd, crass, and raunchy, with much more of a stoop dialogue with your boys. It left us squirming in our seats, rather than rolling with laughter. Locker room trash talk. Some of his jokes were just not funny. We were left yearning for laughs that we hoped for. The silver lining of the night were his opening acts, who were able to garner laughs, even if their monologues were short. I enjoyed watching Tracy Morgan in skit comedy, such as SNL, his roles in Friday After Next, The Longest Yard, and 30 Rock, and the Last O.G., which prompted me to see this show. It fell short, but he still has a fan in me.

    Great Experience!

by Leslie Gunter on 10/17/23Ovation Hall at Ocean Casino Resort - Atlantic City

This was the first comedy show that I've seen in years and I was not disappointed. The opening act comedians were a great transition to the main event as Tracy Morgan clearly has an eye for talented performers. Looking forward to Tracy Morgan and friends returning to this location soon !
