Tori Kelly in Concert
When she was 14, Tori Kelly started writing songs in the bedroom of her Southern California home. Within years she began sharing those songs online, and quickly won over Internet audiences with her sweetly soaring vocals, graceful guitar-playing, and knack for blending breezy melodies with boldly heart-on-sleeve lyrics. With her YouTube channel boasting more than 55 million views and almost 700,000 subscribers, the 20-year-old singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist is now at work on her debut album— a passionate pairing of soul and pop that reflects both her lifelong devotion to music and uncommon authenticity as an artist.
A musical purist who began singing at age three and learned to play drums and guitar by the time she was 16, Kelly wrote, produced, mixed, and self-released an EP titled Handmade Songs By Tori Kelly in May 2012—then saw the EP debut at #6 on Soundscan’s New Artist chart and at #9 on Billboard’s Heatseekers chart. Earlier that same year, Kelly’s online popularity skyrocketed when a YouTube video of her stripped-down, goosebump-inducing rendition of Frank Ocean’s “Thinkin Bout You” went viral, and to date has garnered over 17 million views.
With the end of 2013 comes the release of Tori’s EP ‘Foreword’ which debuted at #16 on the Top 200 with over 16,000 units sold in the first week. She capped off the week performing lead single and iTunes single of the week, ‘Dear No One’ on the Ellen DeGeneres show.
For her debut album, Kelly is back in the studio working to elevate her artistry while delivering honest, emotionally charged music that resonates with those who’ve supported her musical journey over the years. “I’m always very real in my songwriting—I’m not trying to put on a mask or hide behind any kind of gimmick,” says Kelly, who lists artists as eclectic as Lauren Hill, Jill Scott, Jeff Buckley, and Maxwell as key inspirations. “No matter what I’m going to do my own thing. So when people tell me that they relate to my songs, or that something I’ve written really connects with them, that’s just the best feeling in the world.”

This was hands down one of the best shows/experiences I have had. Tori Kelly knows how to put on a show and her vocals are absolutely amazing.
I have seen Tori Kelly many times before and this was by far her best concert yet! The venue was electric and she was the sweetest and most humble artist I have ever encountered! God bless her and her family!
Went to see Tori Kelly in Atlanta and she was amazing! The crowd and atmosphere was awesome as well.
Take Control Tour in ATL was the best concert I’ve ever been to, the joy and energy was felt by everyone. Tori lifts people’s spirits with her wholesome, soulful, and deeply talent filled concert.
Tori Kelly is amazing. This new chapter is EVERYTHING. Already thinking about the next show I’m attending. Go see Tori Kelly live! 100/10 would recommend
Tori Kelly live is a dream come true. She's PHENOMENAL. 10/10 recommend.
Meet & Greet with Sound Check exceeded our expectations! Not only is Tori an incredible talent but she genuine and personable. The concert was superb just long enough and the venue great. Can’t wait for Tori to come back to Boston so we can do it all over again!
Been a fan for two decades and finally got to meet and see her! Such an underrated vocalist
She was amazing but they sold more tickets than the venue could accommodate. There were a lot of people watching by the door cause there’s literally no space inside.
This venue at the Bowery Ballroom gives a more intimate experience with the audience and the artist. Tori Kelly is phenomenal in so many ways. She’s very talented. This show was tons of fun. The vibe and atmosphere was very high for the complete duration of the show. Us fans were cheering so loud that I think the floor was shaking haha. Everything was great from Tori to her other musicians on stage as well as everything else that goes into a show/performance (i.e. sound, lighting, etc). Definitely planning on seeing another show of hers, hopefully it’s in the very near future !
She is an amazing artist. And the show was equally amazing.
I went to see her perform in Boston yesterday and it was THE BEST PERFORMANCE. She’s so beautiful and I’m so glad I saw her perform since she’s my favorite artist. Was worth going
Tori NEVER disappoints. Her vocals are out of this world. Will never stop buying tickets to see her!
Saw her in 2016 and was incredible loved her!!!!!!
For those music lovers who have yet to see Tori Kelly, you are promise a truly gratifying experience. Let me first start with her band. What a talented group of musicians, who managed to make you hear their individual skills. The drummer in my opinion was a true standout- his groove was powerful and funky without intruding on the ensemble. Now, Ms. Kelly is one of the best live vocalist that I have ever heard. I know this is a strong statement, because I have seen many of the greats. But, her range, clarity and runs are second to none. The songs she chooses to sing are a collection of fun, complex and lyrically woke gems. My wife and I will see Tori Kelly again, and cannot wait for her next album to drop. True excellence!!!
Tori Kelly was absolutely amazing! Her vocals are like none other and her band is highly talented! This was the best performance I have ever been to! The venue, BMO Harris Pavilion, also had friendly staff and was kept very clean.
Amazing experience due to the intimate setting and vocals from Tori. Would def go to another of her shows.
I'm a very frequent concert goer and have visited plenty of venues but that was my first time at the lounge.. The venue was so amazing for such an amazing artist.. Very intimate, the setup was great, casual yet fancy.. just what the fans needed for a time with Tori... and lets not even get started on Tori! She is just beyond amazing! Her voice... Her guitar playing... Her... She's just amazing!!! I loved the venue for her because we were able to really "feel" her... I loved this experience!
The concert was intimate and quite endearing. Tori performed songs from each and every album she has done and the performances were amazing! Can’t wait to see her again in the future. Just wish I would have gotten a chance to chat with her maybe next time?!?! ;-)
I love how personal and intimate the her settings are. The venue was really nice and the workers at the Fillmore were incredibly professional and organized. This was a special concert because she shared new songs that were more vulnerable, plus she gave us a story for each song and it really helped you connect more and have a better understanding of what the songs were about. Her and Mateus were freaking wonderful. I watched two legends and got to see another legend (Kamari). Life=Slayed. Amazing!
