Tony Hinchcliffe is a touring stand up comedian, writer, and podcast host based out of Austin, Texas. Hinchcliffe began his career cutting his teeth at the renowned Comedy Store in Los Angeles--evolving from a door guy saturated in the world of comedy to a paid regular sharing the stage with the best comics in the world.
As the host of the No.1 live podcast in the world, Kill Tony, he has scaled his namesake platform to stream to hundreds of thousands weekly and over 100 million people total in its ten years running since June 2013. Hinchcliffe and his assembly of enthusiasts collectively made 'The Store' the place to be on Monday nights before touring every major city in the US, traversing the globe in an international run, and discovering numerous fresh comics and elevating many more up-and-coming voices. With Kill Tony's new home at The Comedy Mothership--Joe Rogan's club in the core of Downtown Austin--this uniquely influential open mic in the stand up universe has a legacy unrivaled by anything else out there.
As a professional wordsmith with impressive edge, Hinchcliffe partners his reputation as a roast comic with a long-working resume supporting his uniquely qualified candidacy. From his membership of the Writer's Guild to his Comedy Central rolodex of credits, he is a top draft pick to judge roast battles and also extremely well-insulated by the company of the most respected working stand-ups today.

The opening musical act by the screwball peanut butter whiskey band was hype. The actual show was one of the better paced Kill Tony episodes. The only drawback to the shorter interviews, was that that special guest co hosts didn't get many opportunities to speak, so Joe and Tom were a bit wasted on stage... but I kinda like that. The guests are the star of the show, and the guests were great. While there were many regulars and not a ton of bucket pulls, the few that were pulled were entertaining. There was a bit of everything, including some bombs which were hilariously boo'd. Overall, I loved it. The only thing that was annoying was the large hanging speaker that completely covered the majority of the screen, which was utilized a lot at the front and end of the show.
Long time and of the show. The seats were comfortable. The view was amazing. It was everything I expected and more. I will see his standup when he comes to town and will be going to his NYE show
Kill Tony was everything I could have asked for. It was funny, engaging and the fastest nearly two hours of entertainment ever. Hope they come back to the Fillmore and it’s packed to rafters!
Awesome show, great venue with friendly staff. Would definitely go again.
Overall, great experience. Venue's pro as always. There were 2 things that could've improved the show. First, the mezzanine level could have been closed off. The show really would've benefited from everyone being on the main floor. Second, the lighting design was very nice looking, but there was no interaction with the show itself. It was just on one scene with the house lights on the entire time. The house lights should've been on only when a participant was being called out from the audience. Once they arrived on stage, the house lights should've went back out. Glad to see comedy at this venue. Hope there's more of it in the future.
My favorite thing on the internet. The concept is honestly brilliant.
Kill Tony shows in SF was great can’t wait to go see in L.A. We took pics with them and they were all so laid back
Absolutely HILARIOUS! Great time and good laughs at the Punch Line Comedy Club. Great Staff, Even better comedians.
Tony was awesome and I was happy he brought Jeremiah with him. I am still laughing days later from Jeremiah.
The Venue was awesome, great customer service, food, and drinks. Tony Hinchcliff was hysterical and he had 2 good openers as well. Would definitely recommend!
This was the best comedy show I've seen in a few years. Tony is one of the funniest comedians out on the road today!!
I was so excited to see one of my favorite comedians. I knew him from podcasts and netflix. Highly recommend this guy, laughed the entire show and he was even cool enough to take pictures for free
Tony and josh had me crying laughing. I would go see the same show again if i could
I first saw Hinchcliffe when he opened for Joe Rogan in April at The Wilbur Theater in Boston. Such a funny guy that I had to buy tickets to his own show in Boston as soon as it was available. It was so very worth it. The thing that impresses me most about Tony is his ability to work off the cuff. He interacts with the crowd and the environment and kills it with on-the-spot comedy. Don't get me wrong, his scripted material is great and did evolve in the six months between performances. But a comedian's ability to improvise and make an entire crowd laugh is on another level. As a bonus, Tony came out to the front of the theater after the show to talk with fans and take pictures. Super generous of him to do that. Will be back to see Tony again!
I've been to a dozen different shows with household names and this was the best show I've been to. Highly recommended.
