This was my 3rd time at the Tony Awards. I really enjoyed it overall;however, I would have liked a better opening musical number since the opening numbers have seemed to decline in the past year or so after Neil Patrick Harris stopped MCing the Tonys.
Although Hugh Jackman did not host or perform, Alan and Kristen did an amazing job!!! It was such a thrill to be there live!! It is a bucket list item for any theatre lover!!
The event was perfect for those in the audience. A real thrill to see the performers and the tuxedo clad attendees.
Other than the 1968 World Series, this event was fantastic. The production team was A+. The Show ran perfectly.. Loved the sing a longs with Hugh Jackman!
I was so thrilled to get a chance to be at the TONY Awards in-person at Radio City Music Hall this year - one of my favorite places to be! I was not pleased with the lack of attention/respect from several attendees who talked and checked their I-phones DURING the performances and commentaries. It was distracting, and made me sad. Enjoy the creativity, music, presenters, and the time and effort that it takes to "perform" and co-ordinate such a wonderful event!
This show is Amazing , Brilliant , worth it , a must go...... Hug jackman was a great entertainerb during the adds, singing and dancing, jocking. Well it was a fantastic night out....
The combination of NYC, Radio City Music Hall, and Hugh Jackman make this an amazing experience. And, the performances of the current and future Broadway shows were just fabulous! Such a great night! One to remember for sure!

I have been to several plus Tony Awards shows, but the ones hosted by Hugh Jackman have been exceptional. I attend to celebrate the final decision and the host is secondary in my decision to attend, Keep the hosting options open for next year.

My husband and I are avid theater fans and always enjoy attending the Tony awards. This year, once again, proved why we need Hugh Jackman as our host. He is the ultimate performer! Of course, we wouldn't mind Neal Patrick Harris as an alternative host ........ The staging of so many scenes from shows, especially upcoming later on Broadway, was amazing. The entire event moved at a very lively pace. This was the strongest Tony show I can recall in many years. Never leave Radio City because it is truly the home of the Tony's!
Overall, an amazing experience...just wish we were able to get better seats. Even though I was on the website the moment they went on sale, we were way up in the 3rd mezzanine.
I went to the Tony Awards both this and last year. I enjoyed them both and will admit that the musical numbers this year were overshadowed by that of last year,especially the opening. However, despite that, I would have to say that this year was slightly more enjoyable than last since Hugh Jackman was able to connect to the audience well. For example, Hugh Jackman came up to the 2nd mezzanine during break and started singing with us, something that Neil did not do. This was one of the many ways that Hugh Jackman connected with us better than Neil did. Both were great hosts, but while Neil is able to pull off more flashy performances, Hugh is able to paint himself as the common man and create that connection with the audience,which I think is quintessential for the theater experience.
How could the Tony Awards be anything but amazing with the one and only performance that rocked the audience to their heart and soul - 'Always Starting Over' by Idina Menzel.
I have been watched TONY more than 20years on TV, in Japan. I dreamed to watch it at Radio City Music Hall! So my dream comes true! It was so excited. One things, I disappointed. During commercial time is boring. It is TV program, but it might the festival of Theatres. Please TV director mind it.

Hugh Jackman was an awesome host. Seeing all the shows perform in one place was great! It was wonderful to be a part of Broadway's biggest night!
Usually a fantastic show and the last time Hugh Hackman was host it was something very special. Not this time. Hugh Jsvkmsn was a bore and the shoe lacked the pizazz it always has.
What a show! What a venue! What a delight! Hug Jackman and a cast of Stars were unforgettable.
