An excellent performance by the orchestra, the soloists, and the massed chorus. A wonderful afternoon of music.

    It was cool!

by BGSUorchdork on 4/9/14Huntington Center - Toledo

I loved how the orchestra went to a different venue and included over 1200 singers in Symphony No. 9. Intonation however, was lacking and it was almost impossible to hear the percussion section due to the mic setup. I also thought the price of tickets were unnecessary in such a huge venue with thousands of empty seats. Nonetheless, I still enjoyed it. Great job! The subtitles were also very distracting and not in time with the singers.

    Amazing Afternoon

by Chickiel on 4/9/14Huntington Center - Toledo

Tickets prices should have been reduced to get more people to attend. Most of the seats were empty. The different coral groups did an amazing job with the vocals and the orchestra is always amazing

    Great Kids Program

by FrancescaOH on 9/20/11Vern Riffe Center for the Arts Shawnee State University - Portsmouth

Kids (7 & 4) both enjoyed this, and the tie-in to the Harry Potter theme worked well to let them "see" the music, as the conductor & guide explained the scene behind the music, etc. Technically, a very good orchestra, so also a nice afternoon for adults.
