BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Originally performing under the moniker Kid iD while attending the University of Leeds, the members of To Kill A King adopted their current name after the departure of two bandmates in 2009. The group performed local shows and honed their sound for a few years before releasing the EP My Crooked Saint in 2011 which featured the popular tune “Bloody Shirt”. Their 2013 full-length debut Cannibals With Cutlery earned them opening gigs for Dog Is Dead and breakout act Bastille, along with several appearances at major festivals.
