    Dream came true

by Barbs on 4/16/24WAMU Theater - Seattle

To see Tina and Amy live was a dream coming true, which I never knew I had. I laughed and smiled from the beginning to and end. The program was very planned and each of the part was hilarious and different from the previous. They included everything from their work. Such as improv, stand up, Weekend update etc. The show was blast and very well prepared. I cannot believe how talented they are. I cannot describe what did personally mean to me to see them alive. I come from Czech republic, so for me it is so rare to see them. But I was lucky, they had the show during my year in Canada. Will remember this for the rest of my life ❤️

    Great Performance....Didn't like the venue.

by Skifree on 4/16/24WAMU Theater - Seattle

You never know how a live stand up comedy act is going to go, but we were pleased with the performance from Tina and Amy! They are quite the comedy team. Overall, we really enjoyed all the fun and laughs. Some improvements areas: 1) needed to be at a better venue (didn't care for WaMu), and 2) the VIP package needs to be improved significantly. Most all VIP packages include an area designated for VIP ticket holders before the show with complimentary drink tickets and usually some snacks or food.

Didn't know what to expect from this type of event. Had never been to the WAMU Theater before. Didn't realize the venue was soooo big! But we had great seats in the upper deck, Tina and Amy did a fabulous job to keep the audience engaged and entertained. Loved it!

Exactly what I was hoping for

by Angela on 4/16/24WAMU Theater - Seattle

I wasn't quite sure what to expect, considering Amy & Tina don't normally do stand-up type work, but this show was so good! I have been a huge fan of both of them for decades. They did an amazing job creating humor around current events and nostalgia for their fans. 10/10 recommended

Show was great, but minor WAMU oddity

by Keith on 4/16/24WAMU Theater - Seattle

Loved seeing Tina and Amy - that was great, as was their opening act. Just wanted to possibly get word to the WAMU Theater because the bar was odd. Not a big drinker, so I wanted to get a water for my wife and a Coke for me. Was told that they couldn't sell just soft drinks - they would have to be mixed with a hard liquor, for $15.50. Your only non-alcoholic choice was water. There were literally cans of Coke sitting right there, but the bartender said he couldn't sell me just that. I've never heard of that, and think that's incredibly dumb. For what it's worth.

    Tina me Amy wet perfect!

    by StaceyK916 on 4/16/24WAMU Theater - Seattle

I’ve never been to WAMU before. I love the vibe outside with all the food, bars etc,, mariners game going on also so lots of people. I don’t even think about telling my fiend not to bring her regular purse so we had to get out of line to get in the bag check line. I decided to pop back in line and that worked out pretty well. The lobby bar is such a cool vibe but by the time we got our drinks the opener had been performing a while. I paid a lot of money (for me) to get seats up close. By the time we got there it was hard to see if they were actually numbered so we had to sit way off the side unless I wanted to make a big deal about it. We should have been right in the middle. That was super disappointing. However the show as really great! Note to self…. Check the bag policy at each event and get there early! I worked that day so I could t help it.

Boy, have they still got it!

by Jane on 4/16/24WAMU Theater - Seattle

Carbonated joy! Amy and Tina mix it up giving us old favorites with new twists. Such clever smart comedy. Lots of laughs and a celebration of their friendship and careers ! The opening comic Zarna Garg made it worth coming just for her! Enjoy!

Great show nearly ruined by the venue

by Tim on 4/16/24WAMU Theater - Seattle

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler were awesome, as expected. I wish we could have seen the opening act. Unfortunately, the venue was completely disorganized when it came to getting people inside the venue. We were in "line"(if you can call an amorphous blob a "line") for more than 30 minutes waiting to go through security, with no guidance from staff or any markings to tell us where to stand. It's as if the venue had no plan for a sold-out performance. A more efficient process could have gotten everyone inside on time.

    Good, not great

by Seattle Dad on 4/16/24WAMU Theater - Seattle

These two are the best. My favorites. Especially together. So I had high expectations. They were super charismatic and some of the segments were funny but overall the show seemed thrown together and it lacked laugh-out-loud moments. So I left feeling a little underwhelmed.

Fantastic show but poor organization from venue to enter

by Uraibi on 4/16/24WAMU Theater - Seattle

The show was great, good content and setup. The thing is the venue was not very well organized when you try to enter. There’s a line just for folks without bags but there is no signage, you just have to know it.

    Masters of their craft

by Terra on 4/16/24WAMU Theater - Seattle

Tina & Amy were so good. Their dynamic together was impeccable and Tina's stand up was SOOO good. My favorite part was bringing back the news desk with local talent, Brandy Carlile. SO FUN! I laughed so hard, I cried.

Amazing show but really poor entry experience at the venue

by Catie on 4/16/24WAMU Theater - Seattle

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler were hilarious and the show was really well laid out. The segments were entertaining while still moving through their act swiftly. Our issue was how poor the venue's entry was. We waited almost an hour to get in and missed part of the opening act. The bag check measurements seemed to be inconsistent as our person questioned bags that were within the guidelines but we saw people with purses twice the size allowed in. Lines moved slowly and they only had four metal detectors up until after the start time when they added more. Thousands of people going through four detectors. It was ridiculous and it was my first time at the WaMu venue so not a great impression.

    Who doesn't love smart comedy?

by MBeeeee on 4/16/24WAMU Theater - Seattle

I headed into the show with certain expectations. Tina and Amy would talk about their early days in the business. We'd remember. We'd laugh. What I did not expect was to be absolutely blown away by Tina's standup bit. She took a theme and she ran with it. The routine was smart and funny and she stayed true to the standup masters she "studied."Such a fantastic evening. Thank you!

    Even better than I expected

by Bianca on 4/16/24WAMU Theater - Seattle

An amazing show from two seasoned artists! The pacing and transitions were perfect, and you get a little bit of everything-- from improv to sketch to stand up to Q&A. And it's all in celebration of their friendship-- aww.

Always funny, not a fan of the venue

by NerdBrick on 4/16/24WAMU Theater - Seattle

Tina and Amy are a great comedy duo, and I would see them again! However, the WaMu theater is a horrible place to hold events. Parking is way too expensive, and this collided with a Mariners game which caused a traffic mess. Move to the Moore or Paramount theater next time.

Had me rolling on the floor laughing!

by Reggie on 4/16/24WAMU Theater - Seattle

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler were absolutely amazing. They were hilarious! Absolutely wonderful show. The opening act, Ms. Garg. Was also so funny and engaging. Loved the entire show and the time it started (3PM).
