by Antman5000 on 11/29/11Gorge, Jewish Mother, Little River Shrimp Festival - Washington State, Little River, Virginia Beach

Ive seen TR3 four times now and every show was awesome!. Tims guitar skills are incredible, Dans drums are insane, and Micks dance moves and groovy bass keeps the crowd going. Dont pay attention to the bad reviews. Def check them out for yourself.

    Not good

    by Dano1973 on 5/16/11Bluebird Theater - Denver

The style of music was outdated and the songs were not great. The crowd was pretty thing too. I see 20 shows a year and this was the worst in the last 12 months. Sorry Tim. I expected something much more interesting.

    TR3 at blue bird

by Chemgrad on 5/2/11Bluebird Theater - Denver

The music was very good, but the sound was not so good. You could hear the base and the drums very well, but not the vocals and the guitar. The base and the drums were way too powerful. Someone messed the sound up.

    Marcus Eaton opener was better

by JLRush on 5/2/11Bluebird Theater - Denver

I have not seen Tim Reynolds before, but expected more from his other guitarwork with DMB which is more melodic than guitar gymnastics without much song structure. Maybe I should have had different expectations, but Marcus Eaton set the bar high as a great opening act with a better combination of songs and guitar skills. TR3 was interesting on some numbers, but it got old quickly. Maybe others enjoyed seeing Tim go off, but it seemed like too much soloing without substance and was a bit like listening to a teenager in the guitar store showing off than the more seasoned musician that I expected. Maybe others got what they wanted and I was in the wrong frame of mind, but if you are more of a DMB fan or like more song structure and stronger vocals, you might be disappointed from high expectations from his other work.

    TR3!!!!!!!!!!!!

    by Mazdaleader1 on 4/24/11Headliners - Toledo

Oh my god you hear so much about a band for so long you just know they are good, you take it to heart. When I saw TR3 this rang true more than ever. This group is one of the best touring rock trios in North America. It was surprising to see only 40 to 50 people showed up to see this unbelievable performance. Not to mention it was 4/20 everybody was feeling great and dancing. TR3 played a 3 hour set!!!!!! For my first TR3 concert I'm wholeheartedly a TR3 fan. The raw musical skill displayed was at times almost overwhelming. TR3 Toledo loves you and we can't wait till next time. I can't remember her name but the guest guitarist was lovely. Her parts with Tim were just out of this world.

    TR3 always rocks!

    by Edie509 on 4/21/11Altar Bar - Pittsburgh

If you love hard rock & guitars - you will love TR3. Nothing like Dave Matthews Band music (I love them too). This is 3rd time I've seen them. The sound at the Altar Bar is not as good as the Hard Rock. It was a little fuzzy to me. The crowd was small & not really energetic-it seemed to take away from the performance. i recommend this underated trio.

Amazing show! Small venue so it was really close and personal! Tim is amazing live and TR3 absolutely rocked the house!
