STALE....MAKES THIS SHOW ALMOST FAIL! ALMOST.

    by Rudy1 on 5/21/10Potawatomi Casino/Northern Lights Theater - Milwaukee

Tim Conway is the master of timing in sketches. He should forget the stand-up monolgue stuff and stick to what he knows best. Tim's stand-up jokes were retreads and used last time we saw him about 10 years ago,.Tim along with Chuck Mcann and Louise DuArt performed Thursday atPotawatomi Casino. It's a thrill to see a "legend" like Tim re-create a lot of the fun skits that his fans have always appreciated. Being 77 years old; didn't stop Tim. He's still on his game when it comes to his comedy sketches. The only one that didn't work for any of the audience was the inmate skit. Nobody in the audience hardly smiled. Chuck seemed to have little problem filling Harvey Korman's slot as the straight man or in some of the skits as Tim's "second banana". Louise was at the top of her game as she "impersonated" George Burns and Gracie. Louise's problem was that the rest of her material was really stale and not updated. Audience members murmered under their breath with most of her celebrity impressions. being from the 1970's-1980's. She even botched up by saying it's easier doing impressions of celebs back then then now. She used Julia Child as an example; but meant Julia Roberts. Much of the crowd wasn't listening close enough to catch that. Louise didn't catch it. She is however a talented lady. All three talents' including Tim have to add a freshness to the show. It could have been better and should have been better. Walking out of the theater; most people seemed to agree.

We bought these tickets for my parents to have a nice night out. My Mom called me this morning to let me know how much they "LOVED" the show. Tim Conway still has it and is hilarious! My Mom is still in stitches laughing about his show!

    Tim Conway-Hard Rock Biloxi, Ms.

by Ntz234 on 5/4/10Hard Rock Live - Biloxi

This show was very good. It was our third time seeing Mr. Conway. He is such a good entertainer. We will be attending any shows he has in the future near our town. It was fun to see so many skits he made famous live in person. I hope that Hard Rock Biloxi, Ms. will keep hosting this type of show in the future.

by MLloyd2 on 5/3/10Hard Rock Live - Biloxi

I DON'T USUALLY GO TO SHOWS BECAUSE THEY ARE SO EXPENSIVE. HOWEVER, I'M SO GLAD I GAVE IN AND DID THIS TIME. TIM IS JUST AS FUNNY AND ENTERTAINING AS HE WAS ON MCHALES NAVY AND THE CAROL BURNETT SHOW!!! THANK YOU FOR A LAUGH A MINUTE AND A ONCE IN A LIFETIME OPPORTUNITY.

Like watching the Carol Burnett Show in the 1970's

by LSUfan on 5/2/10Hard Rock Live - Biloxi

I couldn't help but thinking that this show was kind of like being in the studio audience watching a taping of the Carol Burnett Show. This show consisted of many of the skits that made that show famous. Tim gave a very solid performance and was assisted by Chuck McCann and Louise Duart. Louise Duart is a master at impressions and did an amazing job in a conversation between Edith Bunker, Joan Rivers, Bart & Marge Simpson, Jane Fonda and the cast of the Wizard of Oz and others when they were stuck in an elevator at the Academy Awards. She also came back and did a great number as George Burns & Gracie Allen. This lady needs to be on television more. She's that good! Tim brought the house down as the famous white-haired old man. He worked as an employee for the lightning fast airline called Speed-O-Air. He also performed as Dorf, the three foot tall golf instructor. Tim & Chuck finished the show with one of the most memorable skits that was ever done on the Carol Burnett Show. Tim played the inexperienced dentist with Chuck as the unsuspecting patient. I don't really know if the youngsters today would really get into this show, but if you grew up with television in the 70's, you will bust a gut laughing. I recommend this show for anyone over 40.

    He's still got it!

by SFCatty on 5/2/10Hard Rock Live - Biloxi

Tim Conway could always make me laugh til I cried. Last night was no exception- he's still awesome and I had a wonderful laugh/cry evening. I wiped the tears all night. The monologues were great and the skits were hilarious. I was glad to see Dorf make an appearance. And I was glad to see he could still make his partners crack up, too. AND keep his straight face. Louise was fabulous as well - her impressions were spot on. Even down to the facial expressions. Esp like the Gracie/George Burns segment. All in all, a wonderful night. Ended too soon.

    Tim Conway & friends

by littlenewt on 2/8/10Ruth Eckerd Hall - Clearwater

We were very pleased with Tim Conway when he was onstage. However, we were disappointed at the brevity of the show. We expected to see clips of his stunts from the Carol Burnett Show, and even expected to have DVD's to purchase. Tim has not lost his timing or delivery, but after driving 1 hour to see him, we would have appreciated a longer time to enjoy his talents.

    Tim Conway and Friends

by islanderbarb on 7/20/09The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

My two sisters, my cousin, and myself found it entertaining and extremely funnie. We loved the dentist skit. Tim was great , but we though his friend the impersonator was outstanding and really made the show amazing. I know we are older and found Gracie and George outstanding: she is truly talented. Thanks to all for the Amazing Show

Tim Conway: tears in our eyes funny

by olderladies on 7/18/09The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

"And friends" incl. a talented impressionist. One in our group felt that's not what was expected. Conway was very funny, especially in skits. The questions from the audience bit was a lame intro into a slotted skit.

Tim Conway is very funny and wholesome. This is the type of entertainment for all ages, and you don't have to check the language or content for younger people. He and his friends can entertain and make you laugh at others and yourself at the same time.

The wife and I were really looking forward to this event. We had great seats and the show Tim put on was outstanding. How great it is to look back at the Carol Burnett show when Tim appeared, and really get to actually see him in person was a moving moment for me.
