Tig (affectionately named by her brother as a child) was born in Jackson, Mississippi and raised by her single mother. While serving time in a Texas high school, Tig failed three grades by entertaining classmates rather than entertaining the notion of a successful academic career. After dropping out of school, and a brief stint in the music industry while in Denver, she decided to lodge herself firmly into the always fun and always easy world of comedy. Most recently, Tig booked a supporting role in the feature THE RUNAWAYS opposite Kristen Stewart, which is out in theatres now. This will be her third season recurring as "Officer Tig" on THE SARAH SILVERMAN PROGRAM on Comedy Central and was a series regular on ABC'S IN THE MOTHERHOOD opposite Megan Mullally and Cheryl Hines. In previous years, she has had her own half-hour comedy special, COMEDY CENTRAL PRESENTS TIG and recurred on Comedy Central's critically acclaimed show DOG BITES MAN. She has also performed on ABC'S JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE, NBC's LAST CALL WITH CARSON DALY and performed on SHOWTIME's new comedy series LIVE NUDE COMEDY which aired on Showtime last summer. Tig performs regularly at the Hollywood Improv, The UCB Theater and at Largo in her monthly show, "Tig Notaro and Friends"...and of course, headlining clubs, colleges, theaters and living rooms across the universe.

This was my first time seeing Tig in a show. She did not disappoint. Was so funny I was sometimes crying with laughter and emotion from the pandemic all wrapped into one. It was great to get out and laugh. I have still been making references to her show chuckling to myself. Run don't walk to the next Tig tour.
Tig was amazing. When i saw she was coming to Charleston i had to get tickets. I love her. It was money well spent. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time.
If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to be in the audience of a comedic genius, go see Tig Notaro and experience it for yourself. I had to fight to catch my breath from laughing so hard. I’ve seen just about everything she’s done on my home tv screens, which are hilarious, but seeing her in person was truly sublime. Like Charlie Chaplin great. Tig is in the sweet spot-impeccable wit, timing, and ease of performance. I actually bought tickets in another city so I can catch the show again. LONG LIVE TIG!
This was such a great show! I’ve been a Tig fan for so long, love her comedy and podcasts and movies. I’m so happy I finally got to see her live!!
Kick off to 12 year old’s bday weekend and first comedy show. Great venue without the Boston fuss. Hey Tig hey 👋 , you truly are a light in this world, thanks for the laughs.
Seeing Tig Notaro live was a much needed night out. She is fantastic & funny. Grateful we got to see her. Big fan of her and her work!
Even though there was a long line to get in because of security and health checks, it moved quickly. The show was great. Laughed continuously. Don’t miss an opportunity to see Tig
Tig Notaro and opener Val Kappa were outstanding! Hope to see them both again soon!!!
Great night out. Lots of laughs. Covid-precautions were in place and people observed them.
Fabulous Comedian! Beautiful venue! I'll be going back again!
Tig was hysterical. Great location for a show. And Pre drinks and dinner at Carrols was spot on.
It was amazing. She’s was super funny from begging to end. Absolutely love it!
Won’t go back to Medford. Waiting in long line to get in. Seats are narrow, more suitable for students. The show was very low energy and Tig’s piano finally went on way too long and was not funny.
The show was great. Love her personality, and her delivery was on point. Fun time!
There is no parking at this venue so we didn’t see Tig Notaro—she was probably great. There is no parking at this venue. There is no parking at this venue. There is no parking at this venue.
So much appreciate you Tig, I will come and see you over and over again just keep coming back to Kansas City Missouri!! That's Kansas City Missouri not Kansas!! Lol
This was the best stand up show I’ve ever been to.
This is our first time seeing Tig live. (My husband had no idea of who she is but I convinced him he should go with me to the show.) Her stories about everyday life are easy to identify with and so funny. Even my husband laughed! We will definitely see her again when she returns to North Alabama!
Tig was beyond all expectations! My husband and I were in tears. Her interactions with the audience and staff were worth the ticket price alone. Not to mention, her expertise as a pianist.
