From his days spinning underground parties to his current status as one of the world's most famous DJs and producers, Tiesto has remained a dance music pioneer committed to transcending boundaries with his next-level productions and inspiring live sets. He continues to break new ground in 2014 with the release of A Town Called Paradise, his fifth record and the first on a major label. BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Born Tijs Michiel Verwest in the Netherlands, Tiesto got his start in the mid-'90s releasing hardcore/gabber tracks under a variety of monikers. After a brief stint collaborating with Ferry Corsten as Gouryella in the late-'90s, he garnered significant attention under the name DJ Tiesto with a massively successful remix of Delirium's 2000 hit "Silence". In 2001 he released his solo debut LP In My Memory, an impressive collection of songs that earned him superstar status with international club hits like "Lethal Industry" and "Flight 643". Over the course of his remarkable career Tiesto has released more than 35 DJ mixes, dropped more than 100 remixes, played on stage at the 2004 Athens Olympic Games, and been named "The Greatest DJ of All Time" by Mixmag. In 2014 he made his major label debut with his fifth album A Town Called Paradise, supporting the album's release with a string of highly anticipated tour dates.

Had one of the best times ever! Tiesto was out of control! Between the music and all the lights, it was honestly awesome! Even his two opening acts were really good! Bottom line.... sickest time!!! If you didn't go you definitely missed out! Can't wait till he's back in New York again!

The first time i heard that tiesto was going to come to NYC, i immediately decided to design a poster with his logo then i got my ticket i couldn't wait for the concert i knew it was going to be amazing but it was more than that! i love Tiesto and like i posted it on my poster NY Loves TIESTO
overall you cant explain a tiesto concert to well. you just have to experience it for yourself. between his new music, some of his old tracks and remixes he came up with of newer artists just made the crowd go wild. of course after being there for 6 hours your whole body is soaking wet from dancing, and you feel the bass in your chest and you just cant stop moving because he just keeps spinning makes the evening even better. his energy to pump the crowd and his back-ground effects brought it all together.
The concert was just amazing! Tiesto proved to be the best DJ of the planet!
Seriously one of the best times of my life....This show is unforgettable and Tiesto is a Beast. Haha He starts at 11 and won't stop till the show ends....N jus when you think he's guna slow down he comes out with another hard Jam...Go to see his show you won't regret it.
Tiesto was amazing! The crowd was completely into his music and the visuals and lights were on right on point with the beat of the music. It was a giant dance party and it was a night I will never forget!!
Tiesto concert was great, i enjoyed it fully as it was my first tiesto concert. however, i think towards the 2 am mark he began not to care about the crowd, and that disappointed me alot, because if tiesto goes crazy, we go crazy, music was good, but i felt liek he didnt care about us afterwards. i do agree, the crowd wasnt amazing either 1 fight, and someone tried to jump on tiesto and the security guards were a little late on stopping it from happening. tiesto got scared, as i would be too. otherwise it was an amazing night i went with a bunch of freinds and so it made my time memorable. you should definitely go. next time though i will probably go on a friday night or saturday night when it's a little more crowded. opening night was not even sold out!! =( enjoyed it though a lot! it's what u make of it!
Music, lights, displays. Affordable drinks, and you have the run of Hammerstein. Will be hard to top
Absolute amazing time. Tiesto is the ICON of all DJs, absolutely brilliant and I didn't stop moving for one second. Can't wait until he comes back to NY and definitely can't wait for his album to drop.
WHAT CAN I A OTHER THAN THE BEST CONCERT I HAVE EVER BEING TO, NOT ONLY THE SHOW STATED AT 9 PM SHARP WITH THE BEST MUSIC EVERE, EVERYTHINING WAS PERFECT ALL AROUNDI HAVE NO WORDS THIS HAS SERIOUSLY THE BEST CONCERT YET, THANKS TIESTO !!!! DANCE FOR LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
