    Great people.

by MandyMarie on 10/25/09The Social - Orlando

I didn't exactly come to see Thursday but they were great. I came to see my favorite band, The Fall of Troy, and always enjoy the show they put on. The drummer is such a great guy and so funny! I love going to the Social and its even better if its to see my favorite band. I can't wait for the next time they're back in Florida!

    all bands ruled

by chyeaah on 10/25/09Masquerade - Atlanta

i looked up midnight masses on myspace before the show and didn't really care for their stuff so i didn't care if i made it to the show on time or not. However, when midnight masses came on, they blew my freaking mind. they put on an amazing show live; i even bought a record. The dear hunter was pretty awesome, too. They jammed hard, which is always fun to watch. The Fall of troy ruled!!! i didn't realize they were a 3 man band until the show and i couldn't believe how awesome they played. the singer was so enthusiastic and he sounds JUST like he does on the CD, which is a hugggee plus! Thursday rocked, too. i wish they would've played a little more of war all the time because thats my personal favorite album, but thats okay because it was still an overall worth-the-3-hour-drive-show.

    Another unforgettable show from Thursday!

by Jonneh on 10/24/09Masquerade - Atlanta

Thursday never fails at live shows; it's actually something they are known for - really amazing lives. And again they did not fail. The entire band were full of energy, even through all the sweat and blazing fast hand moves from Steve, Tim, Tom and Tucker..and Geoff of course, as always, gave it his all as well. They have always put their hearts and souls into their songs, and when you can really tell is at their lives. No matter how many times they have played a song, they still seem to do it with all their energy and hearts there. It's amazing, and they will be a band that will go down in history.

by Ageia on 10/24/09The Social - Orlando

It was out of this world. I always loved The Fall of Troy, but I had never seen them live. Midnight masses and Dear Hunter were really good too. But Fall of Troy Stole the show

Thursday , The Dear Hunter , The Fall of Troy!

by KitmcAwesomepants on 10/21/09Revolution Live - Ft Lauderdale

It was the best concert ive ever been to in my life. I only came for The Fall of Troy but ended up liking all the bands. A local band Midnight Masses played at the very start and were great too. When The Fall of Troy came on though the whole club erupted and sang along to every song and just went crazy! (me too) and Thomas Erak ended it by jumping into the crowd and crowdsurfing around on his last song. Then when me and my friends all went outside we met all the bands and got stuff signed... Every band was a bunch of really cool nice guys. For some reason my voice cut off when I tried to talk to the Thursday Lead Singer but he was awesome anyway and even tried to give me a high five and stuff but I ran off in embarrassment from not being able to speak :P. Anyway... Greatest concert me and my friends have ever been to!

Thursday Rocks! Check Out From Quiet Arms Too

    by Jimmie003 on 10/2/09Granada - Lawrence

The Granada is a great venue. It's gritty, loud, intimate and just a great place to hear and watch live music. It was my first time to see the bands on the list (From Quiet Arms, La Dispute, Fall of Troy & Thursday), but each band’s performance was amazing! From Quite Arms is a band to check out if your in the Lawrence/KC area. They have a unique, mesmerizing sound and despite being the opening band, I thought their performance was the best of the night aside from Thursday’s. La Dispute is a very cool band. They have a hardcore sound but are precise and clean. The lead singer has a distinctive, screamo voice; either you’ll love it or you won’t. Fall of Troy is a true power trio, who have a fantastic lead guitarist. Despite three members, they have a fanatical full sound. Finally, no surprise, Thursday melts your face off. With the small venue of the Granada, matched with the vast sound of Thursday, it made for just an insane show.

The Fall of Troy made the night. They had their new album for sale before it was even supposed to be released!

The bands opening for Thursday were excellent!

by eviperLP on 10/2/09Granada - Lawrence

Thursday, not so much. Probably their most noteworthy song and one of my favorites, "Counting 5-4-3-2-1" was omitted from the set list. I couldn't believe it. That song was almost 100% of the reason I went, and I was under the impression that they would play it, since it WAS their single. They played a whole album's worth of music, but the vocals were set too quiet, so most of the show was just noise. I doubt I'd see Thursday again.

I only went to see The Fall of Troy, I could care less about thursday (in fact I care so little that I am too lazy to capitalize their name) I would pay 3 times the amount just to see The Fall of Troy again, and only them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Moving Mountains and Thursday made the show

by ThatGuyYouTrust on 9/21/09Bowery Ballroom - NEW YORK

The combined talent of the bands that played is an incredible thing. That doesn't mean that the entire show was incredible though. Fall of Troy came on with their typical arrogant frontman Thomas Erak. They fumbled through an entire set of guitar solos and obnoxious gestures. Another band, a new band called the Young Widows, tortured the crowd with their incredibly annoying brand of experimental rock. Now it may seem like the show was not worth going to, but the performances of Kiss Kiss (a circus rock band from Purchase, NY), Moving Mountains (a post rock band on the brink of enormous success), and Thursday (need I say more?) was more than reward enough for waiting through the appalling performances of the Young Widows and Fall of Troy. All three bands were tight beyond belief and their stage performances were entertaining beyond belief without becoming annoying and arrogant. If you ever get a chance to see Thursday, don't pass it up, especially if they have supporting acts like Kiss Kiss and Moving Mountains.
