  • Amazing! 10/10 would recommend

by EtheridgePrints on 11/11/25Thunder Bay Community Auditorium - Thunder BayRating: 5 out of 5

First time seeing the TBSO and we loved it! I would recommend everyone go see TBSO at least once. They put on a truly awesome show totally dedicated to 007. I can’t wait to see them again!

  • Great evening

by TbayJ on 4/29/25Thunder Bay Community Auditorium - Thunder BayRating: 4 out of 5

Pleasure to see entertainment I might not normally have chosen. Knowing nothing about the performance was key! The collaboration between symphony and Badanai Theatre was great. The large cast and the reception from the capacity audience was fantastic. Spencer of course one of the stars but the young performers were equally impressive. Goes without saying that our auditorium is a spectacular venue and we had a great night.

  • Trip to Broadway

by Anonymous on 4/29/25Thunder Bay Community Auditorium - Thunder BayRating: 4 out of 5

I thought the evening was going to be the orchestra playing Broadway tunes not an entire performance. Overall, the performance was good. The acoustics in the auditorium were horrible. The sound was at the front of the stage leaving the patrons in the back unable to hear clearly. Surround sound would have been beneficial.

  • Excellent concert

by Gp on 12/24/24Thunder Bay Community Auditorium - Thunder BayRating: 5 out of 5

We enjoyed Jeff Christmas, the Stringlings, Robert Perrier and Jamie. A wonderful annual Christmas tradition with the Chorus. My only request is have more programs with words available for singalongs and turn up house lights so we can see the lyrics

  • Great Holiday Event

by Jen B on 12/24/24Thunder Bay Community Auditorium - Thunder BayRating: 5 out of 5

Went for a girls night to the symphony and it was fantastic. The highlight was definitely the little strings children’s violin ensemble. Funny, full of holidaycheer. We will go next year!

  • Fantastic!

by Loe on 10/21/24Thunder Bay Community Auditorium - Thunder BayRating: 5 out of 5

Very talented and focused group. Will definitely attend more shows because it’s what we like to do. We were thinking how cool it would be if they did an “electric light Orchestra” show some day. Thank you!!

  • We always enjoy the shows.

by Candy on 10/31/23Thunder Bay Community Auditorium - Thunder BayRating: 5 out of 5

Venue is comfortable and sound is great. I love the affordability of seeing the Thunder Bay Symphony. Makes it easy to see several shows a year.

  • Excellent concert but the auditorium should be more quiet

by Kishi on 10/16/23Thunder Bay Community Auditorium - Thunder BayRating: 4 out of 5

Please people when you are listening to a classical concert refrain yourself of moving and ask your chid to be quiet and still when musicians are playing. And then the photographer, 2 in the evening, dont be like a fly, moving all the time, opening door, moving up and down, to take a picture of musicians that are not moving, it make no sense and it is disturbing to the audience and I supposed to the musicians too. Thanks to reflect on this comment for the good of everyone.

  • Bowie with TBSO

by Kwak on 5/2/23Thunder Bay Community Auditorium - Thunder BayRating: 5 out of 5

I wasn't sure what to expect other than the symphony playing Bowie songs yet a "cover band" was up front - it was a pleasant and spectacular experience. The symphony itself would've been great but the lead singer sounded SO much like David Bowie and he shared stories and a background of every song before singing. We ended the evening dancing to the final performance - for someone who isn't necessarily a Bowie fan, I rate the evening as a 10/10

  • Fun night

by Jules on 2/28/23Thunder Bay Community Auditorium - Thunder BayRating: 5 out of 5

Great job by the T.B. Symphony and choral group. The addition of the Badanai theatre group was a wonderful idea. Really enjoyed a light and relaxing evening. Triggered a lot of wonderful memories hearing all those songs. Loved it.
