This was a 50th anniversary performance and it was loaded with the history of the group. They brought out the different musicians who had been part of the group through the years. The music was great, comedy was fun, couldn’t have asked for a better time. I will definitely find future shows as I am hooked’
A dear friend and I went out Saturday to see one of our favorite groups..Three on a String 50th Anniversary concert. Many of their former members were there. We have seen Three on a String several times but this performance was absolutely the best! Everyone did a fabulous job....it was a very special concert and a privilege to be able to attend. The only downside was the venue. The Theater at the Civic Center has very steep stairs going to the orchestra section which were difficult to manage for us older attendees. We did see one gentleman fall. Once again, thank you Three on a String for providing so many years of wonderful music and entertainment for the people of Alabama!!
It was fantastic!! After all the years, they are still the entertainers!
The guys always put on a great show. We have been following them for years and don’t miss many opportunities to hear them. The only suggestion I would make is sing more songs and do less talking-most of us know their history because we went to those places to hear them play their awesome music. I’ll keep coming to hear them.
Three on a String is fabulous...their 50th anniversary show was fabulous. We loved every single second of it. Our only issue is with the BJCC. Unfortunately, we don't go there very often, and we were surprised there were no signs to direct people to parking. More signage is needed.
Good venue. Not seats far away. People who attend these shows are generally familiar with the group or are friends and acquaintances of some of the performers. When TOAS performs for friends, we truly are part of the experience for them and for ourselves. Just a wonderful time spent with some very talented individuals.

What a wonderful place to see Three in a String. First time visit to the Lyric Theater and What an experience! Great venue and a wonderful group. Really enjoyed the magician from NC. Took our daughter and son-in-law (in their 30s) and wondered if they would enjoy seeing (as they said) guys who are 200 years old. They had a Great time and I heard them laughing. Thanks for having them there.

Three on a String puts on a great show. Lots of laughter and good music. We try to see them two/three times a year. This was the first Christmas show we have attended, and we will definitely go again next year.
It was a night filled with smiles, giggles, and laughter!!! Always a fun evening when Three On A String is the entertainment.
Well, Three On A String lived up to our hopes and expectations as did some parts of the show. I thoroughly enjoyed 90% of the men's choir performance. It's important I believe to always leave an audience wanting more and so perhaps the choir should have sung a select fewer songs. Certainly I understand and embrace the beauty in presenting local talent from our community to collectively share the Christmas message and spirit through song and performance, I just wish in some cases organizers had set the bar a little higher. There were times when the show really dragged, when my eyes drooped and chin dropped. Perfect opportunities for a quick nap had there not been so many people around. Instead, I was forced to remain conscious through some long and somewhat painful performances. Although it did not detract from my love and appreciation for the night's headliner, I did feel a little jipped. I never grow tired of seeing Three On A String even though I could recite some portions of their act verbatim. l'll hope that in the future, they either dominate the night or are able to surround themselves with other acts of the same calibre.
Three on a String - all FOUR of them - were wonderful at the Lyric. I went to school with Bobby Horton and Jerry Ryan was a coach at Ensley High School when I was there. So I have heard Coach Ryan and Bobby pick and sing for years. Add in Andy and Brad and you have the super group today. I always enjoy Three on a String. You can't help but have fun at their concert and leave with a smile on your face. Simply the BEST.
Three On A String was outstanding as always. Good, clean fun. Perfect size venue to see them. Had tickets on the first row of the Loge section.

Great show, second time seeing them. They shared the stage with several other acts that complimented their own music and production. Lyric theater was great venue for them.
