Flyleaf, Chevelle, and Three Days Grace put on an amazing show.
Flyleaf was first, and they performed well, although the singer was difficult to hear at times and was drowned out by the music. Her vocals should have been louder. And as I am not as familiar with Flyleaf as I am with the other artists, I did not recognize some of the songs, but they still performed well, although they could have gone longer (they were on for 40 minutes).
Chevelle was next, and as they are one of my favorite bands, I greatly enjoyed it. They were very energetic, and Pete Loeffler's vocals were much easier to hear than Flyleaf's. They played practically every single they're ever put out, which are all good songs, and a few new tracks off of their new album. They played for about 45 minutes, which was a good amount of time, although I thought they would have performed more from their new album to promote it more. The crowd seemed more excited for their performance.
Lastly was Three Days Grace, who played for about 75 minutes. They had the most elaborate stage setup with lights and bursts of flames, and were the easiest to hear, which is explained by the fact that their performance was being recorded. They were very good with crowd interaction, and during one song Adam Grontier moved to the back of the arena and walked around to the front stage while singing, being amidst the audience, which is always nice to see. They played several of their classic singles from past albums, and several from their new album.
Overall, the sound quality and performance quality was very good for this concert.
The only negative aspects of the evening had nothing to do with the bands themselves, but with the crowd: at least one rude person in my vicinity decided to light up a joint during Three Days Grace's performance, which wafted over the area; several idiots threw sometimes empty beer cups around; and inconsiderate people harshly pushed me and my friend around in order to move around or start an impromptu mosh pit. Just because it's a rock show doesn't mean people shouldn't be polite, and at least clear a space before they mosh so they don't physically injure people much smaller and less strong than themselves.
I had floor tickets, so was standing for four hours straight in the crowd, but I didn't mind because there was still enough room to breathe comfortably during the concert.
