Since bursting onto the Christian rock scene in 1995, Thousand Foot Krutch have sold hundreds of thousands of albums and embarked on numerous successful concert tours in the United States and their home country of Canada. Known for energetic live sets that feature strobe lights and even a few instances of rap lyrics, the band shows how even though its concerts are hot ticket events for people who love Christian rock, it has crossover appeal for mainstream audiences as well. Beginning in January 2014 and continuing for the next several months, Thousand Foot Krutch will diligently tour throughout the United States to play venues ranging from arenas to festival stages. Most recently, the band released a greatest hits album, Made In Canada: The 1998-2010 Collection, which also included two previously unreleased tracks.
Thousand Foot Krutch have been hard at work throughout its career, having released seven studio albums, the aforementioned greatest hits album, a live album and a collection of remixed tracks. Fortunately, the dedication has paid off. Notably, the band won a 2008 contest sponsored by Taco Bell and was given the opportunity to perform during the Winter X Games. In 2013, Thousand Foot Krutch's latest studio effort, The End is Where We Begin, was nominated for Rock Album of the Year at the GMA Dove Awards. Although Thousand Foot Krutch have already established themselves as worthy contributors to today's Christian rock market, their steady tour schedule is allowing them to have an even broader reach while enjoying continued success that spans beyond the faith-based music industry.
