THIRTY SECONDS TO MARS IN CONCERT: DON'T MISS YOUR CHANCE TO SEE THIRTY SECONDS TO MARS ON TOUR IN 2017

Formed in 1998 by Jared Leto and his older brother Shannon, Thirty Seconds to Mars found success in the ‘00s with a blend of hard rock, post-grunge and screamo. Drawing on influences ranging from Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin and Rush, the band have enjoyed global success with platinum-selling albums, world tours and numerous music awards. Frontman and actor Jared Leto enjoyed success on the ‘90s television drama My So Called Life in addition to movies such as Fight Club and Requiem for a Dream. As he approached his 30s, he decided to focus on his music and enlisted the help of his brother to form Thirty Seconds to Mars. While music is his passion, Jared continues to enjoy a successful Hollywood acting career, and has a string of notable film releases to his name including Panic Room, Highway, and  American Psycho. He snagged an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in Dallas Buyers Club.

The group's self-titled debut album was released in 2002, though it was their platinum-selling second album, A Beautiful Lie, which catapulted the band to true worldwide fame, paving the way for several massive tours. A Beautiful Lie was followed by their 2009 album This is War which reached the top 10 of several national album charts and earned numerous music awards. In 2013, the band left EMI for Universal Music, and released the critically acclaimed Love, Lust, Faith and Dreams 2013. A brand new music video, starring Kanye West and Lindsay Lohan, was released from the album to promote the track City of Angels. To date the band has sold over 10 million albums worldwide.

Thirty Seconds to Mars have won numerous music awards, including six Kerrang! Awards, three MTV Video Music Awards, seven MTV Europe Music Awards, a NME award and a Billboard Music Award. The band also achieved a place in Guinness World Records as Longest Concert Tour by a Rock Band, performing 311 shows in just over two years.

The band’s first tour was the Forever Night, Never Day tour in 2006, followed by Welcome to the Universe tour in the same year. In 2007 they embarked upon A Beautiful Lie tour, performing at numerous venues and festivals worldwide. This was followed by two more world tours including Into the Wild 2010 and their recent 2013 Love, Lust, Faith and Dreams tour.

    30 Seconds to Jared

by azdezbrat on 8/10/18Ak-Chin Pavilion - Phoenix

Omg...talk about a me me me complex. I would give this show 5 stars just for the warm up bands but the one star is for the headliner. The warm up bands were awesome, Welshly Arms, K-Flay and Walk The Moon just kicked butt, they gave their all and rocked the place. 30 Seconds to Mars was all about Jared Leto worship. I have seen over 100 artists and some of those artists 5,6,7 times. I have left 2 concerts early in my 45 years of concerts (Duran Duran and Billy Squire) and this made #3. I like interaction with the audience but for real...we ended up singing most of the songs, listened to him ask for applause (Make some noise!! Over and over and over, the right side, the left side the middle, make some noise) OMG. The stage was dark like he didn't want to be seen and it just sucked. He talked way to much, sang too little and depended on the crowd to make this concert seem like it was fun. I saw lots of people leaving. I kept thinking this has got to get better....but no...it never did. I left early along with a bunch of other concert goers. I'll never go see them again. In fact I don't even want to listen to their music anymore. Stick to acting Jared.

    Show was ok. Shoreline rocks!

by flyhigh08 on 8/3/18Shoreline Amphitheatre - Mountain View

I love shoreline. Maybe weekday shows are less packed than weekend shows, so this one was perfect. The only thing is the reserved lawn fences being too high. Wish they were shorter. This is my second Second to Mars show, so while it was cool that they brought lots of fans on stage, I just prefer them to keep singing. The first show was better. Walk the Moon was great. They were fun.

Great show, all the opening acts sounded really good. Only adjustment I’d make is the bass was too high for everyone

    Family concert night

by AshtonDanceMom on 7/31/18The Forum - Inglewood

The staff and venue are incomparable. We've seen better performances by 30STM in the past. The opening acts were okay; we weren't disappointed to skip them and shop and eat instead.

30 Seconds to Mars was Soul Filling

    by jenirypit311 on 7/27/18Ak-Chin Pavilion - Phoenix

I've never been a huge fan of mainstream music and thirty seconds hadn't blown me away yet. There are times in our lives when things happen and it seems to intertwine with existence. I was down and out and heard Rescue Me. I was completely hooked, so were my kids and it just all came into place! They put on a fabulous show and they include their fans a lot which is rare nowadays. We will be seeing them again!

    Overwhelming and underwhelming

by Babyjokerjonas on 7/26/18Mattress Firm Amphitheatre (Formerly Sleep Train Amphitheatre) - Chula Vista

The chula vista venue was pretty dope. However, i have mixed feelings about the 30 seconds to mars performance. Jared stopped the show so often to allow people to come on stage which is a great experience however it could mean for injury, incompliance, seat stealing, tall people were a huge issue for me but thats besides the point. The singing was not that great. And the huge flags, allowed were in the way.
