Third Eye Blind Concert Schedule
Having emerged from the late-90s post-grunge scene, Third Eye Blind is known for their brighter take on grunge sounds, often borrowing themes from classic rock and pop chords. The band, which debuted their single 'Semi-Charmed Life' in 1997 to critical acclaim, quickly rose to fame and eventually went on to win the 1997 Billboard Music Award for Best Modern Rock Track. Building on their impactful initial success, Third Eye Blind released a number of singles following 1997's 'Semi-Charmed Life,' three of which reached the Top 10 charts. They also toured with bands such as U2 and Oasis before their Bonfire Tour across the US in 1998 and releasing their second album, Blue, in 1999. In more recent years, the band has toured and performed at festivals such as Bonnaroo in Tennessee, Life is Beautiful in Las Vegas, Reading Festival in the United Kingdom, and In the Mix in the Philippines. Third Eye Blind live performances are noted as impressive for their meticulous use of lighting to set the mood for each individual song and for their high-energy interaction with audiences. Their Blessed by the Gods tour in 2017 received positive reviews for an impressive setlist that perfectly mixed songs from each era of their career.
Third Eye Blind Background
Originally from San Francisco, Third Eye Blind is headed by singer Stephan Jenkins. Although seeming to come out of an overnight success, Jenkins worked for years on the songs before he even met his future bandmates and their first self-titled album in 1997. Bandmate Arion Salazar noted that he was playing with Stephan in 1993 and opened for the Counting Crows in April of 1994 before Kevin joined and the crew began producing actual demos. The band received its name from Jenkins, who wanted to reference the metaphysical concept of a mind's eye. Other members have included guitarist Kevin Cadogan and former Counting Crows drummer Brad Hargreaves, each contributing to the overall success of the post-grunge group. The album Third Eye Blind went six times platinum while the album Blue went single platinum in the United States. Songs such as Jumper' and 'How's It Going to Be' reaching the Top 10 of the US Billboard Hot 100. In total, the band has sold around 12 million records worldwide. The set was short feeling and not worth the $200 bucks we each spent
Sound system was not good at all, very muffled, could not clearly hear the words to the songs being sung. Unfortunately did not stay for the entire show due to muffled loudness. Very disappointed losing money for this concert.
Great show. I wished the show was longer. But we enjoyed what we got!
Foxwoods premier theater was a great venue - no lines to get in, just straight to the seats. I've been to 3+ shows in the last 10 years to see Third Eye Blind and this final show was a huge disappointment. Maybe 12 songs played total and very little crowd engagement beyond them posing for cameras of fans in the front row. Pretty sure they ran through 5-6 songs before even saying hi to the crowd. As a lifelong fan of 3eb, I walked away wishing I hadn't spent the money on the tickets.
Casinos need to stop advertising concerts. They don’t permit the same amount of set time and the stage setup was as basic as it gets. Happy to win money, but show was over way too soon.
The band was good and they always put on a good show. I’ve been to a third eye blind show probably 3-4 times in the past several years. The venue and crowd left us wanting more. It seems as though most of the crowd was just there to take in a show and didn’t really come to see third eye blind. The lead singer clearly feeds off the crowd energy and you could tell that the lack of energy from the crowd affected the performance.
Third Eye Blind never disappoints! If they are having a concert, you better believe I am going!
It was casual and fun! everyone was dressed very casual
Great venue. There isn’t a bad seat in the house. I loved the performance, but wish it were longer. They have so many good songs, but I guess the time is limited. I would see then again.
Incredible show! Sound was just right. Not over loud and no sound problems. Band was interacting with the audience!! The seating is second to none!! Every seat is a good seat. Interaction with servers and security is always Courteous and helpful. Would recommend the venue anytime!!
Love band they are getting older like the rest of us. I liked the venue.
Everything was really great surrounding this 3eb concert in Durant, OK…Stephan Jenkins voice wasn’t 100% due to an accident, but they still rocked the house !!!
3eb sounded INCREDIBLE! I could feel the bass in the floors. The lighting and colorful backdrop was really cool, too. The band had a wonderful presence. 10/10 The floor seats were a little cramped, but I appreciated the thick padding on the chairs at 40-years-old. Haha. I hope you have Third Eye Blind back soon!!
Great show! They played for over an hour and a half! I loved every minute of it!
3eb concert was fantastic i sang every word to every song and Hows it gonna be for the finale was the icing on the cake S U P E R B!!!!
Apparently the band had practiced since their last concert in April and it showed but the biggest disappointment was the lead singer. He sounded horrible. He tried to blame some of it on a surfing injury. Apparently got hit in the mouth by a surf board. The band had very little interaction with the crowd. They seemed in a hurry to play their sets as fast as possible and be done which probably wasn’t a bad idea since it was panful to listen too.
Love this venue. We have come from out of state several times to see shows here. Third Eye Blind was excellent. Love that they came on right away. No opening act, just the show we came for.
Took my 3 kids and it was amazing! Loved the acoustics to break it up! We are huge fans!
The venue was amazing and the show exceeded all expectations.
This concert really brought me back to my high school days. The band was exceptional. They sounded perfect. I would definitely see them again especially in that venue. Awesome night all around.
