Four years after forming in a London school, The xx unleashed their 2009 eponymous debut via Young Turks. The 11-track collection not only earned accolades from critics across the globe, but it also scored the U.K.’s coveted Mercury Prize and landed the dream-pop band in the limelight stateside. Singles from their indie-label foray graced American television programs like “Person of Interest” and “90210,” as well as a Karl Lagerfeld runway show and NBC’s coverage of the 2010 Winter Olympic Games.
Along with their own headlining theater tours and concerts alongside Friendly Fires, Hundred Waters and The Big Pink, the musical trio has performed at several festivals, including the Matt Groening-curated All Tomorrow’s Parties in 2010, Coachella, Sasquatch Festival and Lollapalooza, among others.
For their most recent effort, 2012’s “Coexist,” the indie pop outfit expanded their ticket-buying base with post-dubstep EDM influences. Though mellow, these touches can be heard in the album’s first two singles, “Angels” and “Chained.”
This was not my first even at The Fox Theater, but it was the first time I was able to see The Xx perform live. It was awesome! Even though my seating was in the balcony, still a good view of the band. I will definatley become a regular of their shows when they are in town. BRAVO!!
I'll be honest. I was afraid the show might be boring. I love the xx, but most of their songs are pretty mellow. I was completely wrong however. The manner in which they emphasis certain parts of their song gave it such depth that it just hit you right in the emotions. The crowd was also awesome, everyone knew the words to the songs. I highly recommend seeing this band.
If you have a chance to see this group while they are playing smaller venues, jump at it. No doubt they will be playing arena size next time. What a fantastic show...
I've never listened to this band but my girlfriend is in love with them. So I decided to buy tickets to take her. I must say they were quite entertaining. The atmosphere was amazing and they indeed have the coolest fans.
The xx gave us an awesome show! They were full of energy and you could see their love for what they do.

Not only was the sound quality spectacular, the XX amazed me! They were more than I expected live! Both vocalist are spectacular and they transitioned from one song to the other with ease. Not once was I bored. Would definitely see them again! Oliver and Romy are magnificent! The only thing I would have changed would have been the opening act.
this is my girlfriends favorite band so i got some tickets to take her for her bday. i've heard the xx on sirius radio before and its not really my kind of music so i was a little skeptical on how the concert was going to be. but to be honest, it wasnt bad at all, the atmosphere was insane, by far the loudest concert ive ever been too, the crowd was amazing. the lights and sounds were well put together. i enjoyed it regardless if i knew none of their songs.
The show was incredible and the venue wasn't too bad either. The sound ROCKED!!!
The Xx were great. The lighting was really trippy. The sound was better than the Cd.
I loved both albums that the xx came out with and they're even more amazing live and in person.

From the moment they walked out on stage after Chairlift's opening performance they made everybody's jaw drop. Amazing performance from the start. Drove from LA, Cali to Las Vegas & it was sooo worth it.

I watched the XX in Las Vegas and it was amazing. I really like how they soud live, their light show was really cool and they look so hot in person. I also liked the band that opened the show. Anyone knows the name of that band? I'd like to hear more from them.
50 million teenagers 7ft tall smoking marijuana and burping--- passing gas. The most horrible concert I ever went to , oh --- must have been all ages! Never Again! I'd rather hear XX on my iPod :)
It was a really it was really awesome show I would recommend to see the Xx perform again. They have an amazing performance really mind blowing.
Hands down, one of the best concerts I have ever been to. I got there four hours before doors, and I actually ran into the band in the hallway on my way to the line. They are such kind, humble people. Thankfully this was an indoor venue, and the lights and sound were amazing. The first time I saw them was at an outdoor venue, (Boulevard Pool at the Cosmopolitan) and they were rained out after just a few songs. I am so glad that I got to see them again, it was definitely worth the wait. The whole concert felt like a dream, it was just too good. I also loved how the band was so thankful that we all came out to see them, and they thanked us all multiple times during and at the end of the show. You could tell that they were just really happy doing what they do, which in return, made everyone else happy. I just can't express how amazing they were. Best concert ever.

The XX were really good live. They put on a great show and would definitely see them again if they return back to Miami. The opening act was also really good.
