The Whispers Tickets

First I have to say.......I do believe my husband and I were the youngest ones in the concert!!We were fortunate enough to be able to attend the 7:30pm show as oppose to waiting for the 10pm show::I have to say that I can't remember the last time I enjoyed myself as much as I did on Saturday: Those Men looked like classy Men first of all!!! They had a sleek, smooth way of moving that made me feel like this is how you suppose to act and be in the authentic Adult world!! I did not realize how much schooling younger people need and how much class they lack until I set down and observed all of whom were around me: How they participated in the concert, how they acted, how they responded: It was so wonderful to be surrounded by that type of crowd::My husband who is 33 and I am 30 tend to have an old heart with an old school soul and we find that we can't relate to alot of those around us in our age bracket::I felt like The Whispers, the audience, the atmosphere was one that I had been wishing and looking for for some time now and I got it all in one day!!! I WOULD GO TO SEE THE WHISPERS IN A HEARTBEAT AGAIN!!!!!! THEY WERE JUST SO WONDERFUL AND ON POINT IN WAYS I CANT EXPLAIN::They are not many groups out there these days that leave you speechless or wanting more after seeing them; however, it took a group that has been around for 45 years to come and arouse my interest in attending more shows such as this one:: THANK YOU AND I WILL CONTINUE TO SUPPORT GROUPS SUCH AS THE WHISPERS!!MY PARENTS WILL TRAVEL WITH ME THE NEXT TIME TO SEE THEM!!!I CALLED DURING THE SHOW TO TELL THEM HOW GOOD THEY WERE AND THEIR RESPONSE WAS................OH I KNOW!!!THATS ONE THING YOU DO NOT HAVE TO TELL ME ABOUT THE WHISPERS HONEY!!!!!

OMG - absolutely wonderful, I got a great seat at the stage, and they are still amazing after 45+ years together!!! They sang everything I wanted to hear especially "Let's Go All The Way" my all time favorite, I will be talking about this show for a long time and oh yes I'm going to see them again!!!

It was such a magical experience. i hope they come back to bb kings again. they sound like they did back in the day.

This was an entirely enjoyable evening. I have never seen any of these groups preform in the past but I can imagine. You would never believe the energy on stage! The audience was up and moving and a night to remember was had by all.

The overall performance was great, I wish they would have performed a little more of the slower jams. I think it would been cool if they would have closed with their song The Whispers Love You Too!

Both groups took us back to that ole time music that has much meaning in the words and all about Love.

THIS WAS THE OLD SCHOOL JAM OF THE YEAR. IT WAS MORE THEN AMAZING I WAS MAGNIFICENT. THE SOUND OF THE MUSIC WAS CLEAR AND IT SOUNDED AS IF IT WAS RECORDED YESTERDAY. EVERYONE WAS UP DANCING AND ENJOYING THEMSELVES.

I thought the whole concert was wonderful. The brothers still have it together after all these years. Anthony Watson held his own! He was great!

Great Evening! Sang along (in audience, of course) with the Whispers, Stylistics & Anthony Watson on at least 95% of the songs. The event was a pre-birthday celebration gift for my husband (from me) who says he had a great time. He even came home with one of the great dance moves from the Stylistics. Was a little dissappointed that we were moved from the new coliseum to the old coliseum in Fayetteville.....BUT overall, the show was great!

The show was fantastic! All performances were amazing.

This was my first time attending an old school concert. It was great, wonderful and very entertaining. I enjoyed all of the songs that I knew and all of the songs that I had never heard but I could definitely understand all of the words and feel the emotional bond with each song.

Great concert, we need more like it! keep up the Great work.

Excellent show and terrific performance by all! Definitely will go back again and will invite additional friends and family.

This was a good concert, both groups were on point. Sound was good, voices were good, it was just like they never missed a beat. Keep up the good work and they could perform forever.

Show was advertised on the Radio as Anothony Watson of the Chi-Lites, the Stylistics and the Whispers. The local radio station would play exerts of the Chi-Lites, Stylistics and Whispers orginal recordings. I was OK with this for the Whispers. They were truly spectacular due to the lead vocals of Scotty and Walter. The music from the musicians were on target and the light show was fun to see. The Stylistics were the Stylistics in name only. Although one of the group members boasted about the group being together for 41 years, one could not help but to notice the young replacement singer for Russell Tompkins Jr, the original lead singer for the Stylistics. My guess is the new lead singer is no more than 37 years old which means only two of the four members could say they were with the group for 41 years. The lead singer did a good paraody of Russell Tompkins, although on some parts of the songs he sang, his voice was pitchey. Overall, although not the original deal, he did deliver and the group harmonies are wonderful. The group put on a good show. Anthony Watson has a good voice. I would have like him to sing more Chi-Lites tunes since he was branded as a member of the group. I accepted his lounge singing using pre-recorded Karaoke music complete with background vocals. Anthony Watsons voice is smooth. We understand Eugene Record the original lead singer of the Chi-Lites has passed and Mr Watson can get away with singing the old Chi-Lite songs. I would recommend this show because they give you over 2.5 hours of music and if you like good singing, the acts performed.
