About

The Weeknd is a Grammy-winning R&B/pop artist from Toronto, Ontario. He first gained recognition in 2009 after releasing music anonymously and sparked international acclaim with his 2011 breakthrough mixtapes House of Balloons, Thursday and Echoes of Silence. The Weeknd’s albums Beauty Behind the Madness (2015) and Starboy (2016) established him as a pop phenomenon, earning multiple Grammy Awards and producing chart-topping hits like "Can't Feel My Face." His 2020 album After Hours became his fourth set to reach No. 1 on the Billboard 200. In 2021, he performed at the Super Bowl LV halftime show, further cementing his status as a global pop superstar. His sixth studio album, Hurry Up Tomorrow, was released on January 31, 2025. For nearly a decade, The Weeknd has consistently sold out stadiums worldwide, and is set to continue his record-smashing After Hours Til Dawn Tour through 2025. Outside of music, The Weeknd has donated millions of dollars to humanitarian causes, including establishing the XO Humanitarian Fund in 2022 in partnership with the United Nations World Food Programme. In 2021 he was named a Goodwill Ambassador for the WFP and has also donated to other causes including COVID-19 relief, Black Lives Matter and Los Angeles wildfire relief.

    The Weeknd performed well and had neat stage effects. However, his show didn't really have a storyline. Most high dollar ticket shows I've been to are much more entertaining. The concert had a 7:30 start time. The opening acts (3 of them) went until 9:30pm with The Weeknd not starting at 10pm and he went only until 11:15pm. My $150 ticket in lower arena (not the highest price) was not worth the time spent watching the headliner nearly 3 hours in to the show.

    The Weeknd was amazing! The tickets were reasonable and the concert lasted 4 hours. All the openings acts were phenomenal as well. This was my 3rd time going to a Weeknd concert and he gave his all. Everybody was pumped and having a great time.

    Amazing show. This was my first arena concert. One of the most memorable experiences ever. The Weeknd is amazing. So talented, extremely great singer and performer. Just an overall amazing atmosphere. Lights were awesome, sound and acoustic was perfect.

    This was truly the biggest party in New York. The sound was top notch. The presentation was clean and very well put together. It was super lit, but the professionalism behind these events is on a while other level.
