The Waiting Room overcame many technical difficulties to put on another great show. Management at The Rapids Theater needs to pay their gas bill...it was freezing inside!
The venue was great! There was a bar. Could have used more tables & chairs. A mom who brought her son shared their bistro with us! They were awesome! Honestly, the first set they played songs none of us were familiar with but the second set they did and it was great! Would def go again!
The show was just great. The band was outstanding as usual. Such a great group of guys. If you love Genesis, the Waiting Room is one of the best bands around. Hope they will come to Philly soon!!!
Took my girlfriend, she loved it!! I'm not a "old" Genesis fan but I enjoyed the concert. They were filming the show for a DVD they are putting out. the Wating Room sound very good. The croud was having a very good time.
The music was great and the performance fantastic. Great show! The lead singer just sounds exactly the same as Peter Gabriel, also his costumes are amazing!
I'm a long time listener of Genesis music and The Waiting Room reproduced Old Genesis music Very well. I especially liked the encore playing songs from various albums. Sound Could have been more Powerful.
Not a bad show. I just like to hear a variety of Genesis songs, not just one album.
It was the first snow in 271 days but that didn't keep the Genesis devoted from enjoying one of the bands best albums interpreted by The Waiting Room. It was a great trip down memory lane, complete with video and costumes. The Tralf is still a great venue and hopefully the group will be back again. The band even invited the crowd to come to Rochester the next night and enjoy complimentary admission to the venue - although I didn't go, I'm sure it was great. The lead singer, Josh Gleason, sounded quite a bit like Peter Gabriel and he faithfully interpreted 'The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway" along with the rest of the band and put to rest any talk of breaking up. If you are a Peter Gabriel/Genesis fan I recommend "The Waiting Room."
