    So disappointing!!

    by Carrie G on 11/11/23

Seriously this was terrible. It was not funny. Mo was folding clothes and showing off his knowledge of capitals but not comedy. The host was the best part and the only real comedian but this was incredibly disappointing for the cost and lack of fun.

    Pretty Dreadful

by AmyIndy on 10/11/23Clowes Memorial Hall - Indianapolis

This was a waste of my time and money. The only comedian who was enjoyable was Maeve. She was wonderful. Will continue to go to and listen to WWDTM but never again to an off-shoot.

    A Great evening of Laughter

by Kelsie Gray on 10/11/23Clowes Memorial Hall - Indianapolis

I had a great time at the Wait Wait stand up tour. It wasn't what I was expecting, but hey, I needed a laugh. It was fun putting faces to all the familiar voices. I loved Alonzo Boden, and was amazed that Maeve is nearly a senior! A good time all around. Sad the theater was not filled, but unfortunately this is a red state :-( Would definitely recommend.

    Very funny show!

by FraMed on 10/10/23Taft Theatre - Cincinnati

The host Alonzo, Adam, Maeve, and Josh were all very funny and enabled a good and satisfying time. The show mainly stays PG-13.

    Great Evening of Comedy

by Eric on 10/10/23Taft Theatre - Cincinnati

Wait Wait group are a very funny and completely uncensored group. The comedy is very up-to-date with a focus on the world around us. Great chance to ask the comedians questions at the end of the show about themselves or the Wait Wait show.

    Wait Wait PG13

by NA on 9/30/23Balboa Theatre - San Diego

Funny, relevant and very entertaining! I took my husband who had NOT listened to Wait Wait, though I have talked it up for many years, and now he's a groupie. He wants to listen with me in the kitchen, he asks me questions like I'm the personal manager for each of the panelists and, as I write this, he is watching Maz Gobrani's The Birds and the Bees on YouTube. The ticket: $40 My husband's reaction: Priceless

    Feels good to Laugh

by KSWied on 9/30/23Balboa Theatre - San Diego

The price was right, the intimate venue perfect for a comedy show. Really enjoyed myself, and Nadine the host was a hoot.

    Excellent!

    by Sylvia on 8/22/23

Seeing these comedians in their element, not having to tailor their thoughts or responses to an age-appropriate audience, was just amazing. Some of these performers I hadn’t thought as particularly funny on the show, but this helps you realize they’re actually masters at their craft. So glad I drove 2 hours to see them, and I’d do it again!

    Advertising not clear

    by FD on 8/22/23

It was not clear that this was a stand up comedy event, not a taping of a live Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me show. Should have been called simply NPR Comedy Night. Disappointing.

    Big bust.

    by Brad on 8/22/23

Totally not what I expected. Most of it was bad comedy.

    I couldn’t wait to laugh!

    by rayclay on 7/18/23

I truly enjoy the Wait, Wait Stand-Up Show. I haven’t laughed so hard in a long time and would highly recommend it to anyone who listens to the show. My only complaint is the $23 service charge from TicketMaster. Seems a bit excessive for a $35. ticket

Keeping everyday things real but in a super funny way!

    by Rhea on 7/17/23

I admit, I have never seen the show, wait, wait. I bought these tickets for my husband's birthday and he loves comedy but I was most amazed that I found myself laughing the whole time!!! Midway through he turned to me and said good call on the show!!

One of the best comedies I've seen in a long time

    by Zelda on 7/17/23

The Wait Wait Stand Up Tour was excellent. All four acts were very good but Alonzo Bodden (the last act) was the best. Here's a thanks to the Charleston Music Hall which has been giving us great concerts for years!!!!!!!!!

    Not really worth it

by Lou on 12/22/22Tabernacle - Atlanta

It was a standup tour and the comedians were funny but would be as happy watching comedians on line. Paid too much for the tickets which was my fault.

    Not what I expected

    by Artmom37 on 12/21/22Tabernacle - Atlanta

I was so looking forward to seeing what I thought would be a regular taping of "Wait Wait..." My husband and I both love listening to this show on NPR. First of all, there was a ridiculously long line to get in and it was bitter cold. Our seats were excellent; third row on the floor. I thought that the comedian on stage was just warming up the audience. Obviously, I was completely wrong. I did not realize that the entire show was just the comedians and not a taping of a regular show. Nothing in any radio advertising seemed to indicate that all the show was was stand-up routines only. We were both incredibly disappointed. We knew that Peter Sagel would not be there, and I was somewhat familiar with the other guests. I just completely misunderstood what the show would be. On top of that, the room was quite cold as it seems that the front doors were left open. Being seated on the floor meant my legs were quite cold. I will say that the comics were fairly entertaining and their views definitely meshed with mine politically and socially. I just truly wish it was a regular taping of the show.

    Wait wait in line

by RoothB on 12/20/22Tabernacle - Atlanta

An oddly long line an hour after doors. The tab seems to have taken their seating cues from the airlines. Really small seats with little leaf room on the floor. Definitely not comfortable for an average size adult. On the plus side, the show was awesome.

Show was great! The line to get in, not so much.

by Indiana on 12/20/22Tabernacle - Atlanta

Really well-done show and extremely funny. Once we were inside the venue, everything was smooth and easy. Security could have done a much better job of efficiently getting people into the venue. The line was wrapped around the block, even right up to (scheduled) showtime. I guess all's well that ends well, but that could have gone better.

    Frozen in Atlanta

by Ginga on 12/20/22Tabernacle - Atlanta

The comedy was good, although I thought it was going to be the group up on stage together. But the venue was not comfortable. They were small & cheap fold up chairs, and for some reason the outer doors were kept open on our side the entire night. It was absolutely freezing the entire time, so much so that it was hard to enjoy the night.

The best evening of comedy ever!

by Lissie on 12/20/22Tabernacle - Atlanta

I've been fortunate enough to see Robin Williams, Chris Rock and many other comic greats, but these 4 kept me laughing nonstop for two solid hours. The show was a joy.
