  • The Veronicas were awesome

by Dinez on 7/14/09The Norva - NorfolkRating: 5 out of 5

The Veronicas were amazing. They sounded exactly like their cd. I liked how they interacted w/ the audience. The drummer put on a great show and Carnie, their opening act, is a band to look out for.

  • Veronica put on hot show...smokin hot

by Dadwith3girls on 7/14/09House of Blues New Orleans - New OrleansRating: 4 out of 5

Took my daughter and 2 friends (all were 15 yr old) to all ages show at HOB New Orleans and had a great time. The girls loved it and I thought it was a great show for all. I have been to at least 100 concerts/shows and this ranked pretty good.

  • Amazing live!

They were just awesome. Venue sucked, but it didn't bring down the performance!

My daughter has been a huge fan of The Veronicas for a long time. When they were in NO the last time it was an 18+ show and she was very disappointed. Of course, she was equally excited when we got tickets for this show. We took two of her friends with us , mostly because the 4pack price was so good. This was their first time at the HOB, they are 15, and they loved it from the minute we walked off of the street and into the walkway. The "no smoking, no alcohol" atmosphere helped me relax and let them enjoy the experience. We had not ever heard of either of the opening acts. Carney was great - rockin', but passionate in a way the impressed everyone. You could feel their love of what they do. You could hear that they are talented musicians. You could see the fun in them. The girls really liked the opportunity to meet them in such an intimate setting - like friends catching up. The band was generous and gracious. The Pretty Reckless was not impressive, talented or interesting. Probably just a matter of taste, I'm sure, but even the girls hated them. I can say that I am relieved as a parent, I would not want my daughter looking to Taylor Momson as any kind of a role model. I was actually rather proud that they disliked her outfit, her style, her screaming and her overtly sexual attempts to be attractive. The rest of the group just sorta fades away as you are revolted by her. Maybe she should just stick to acting. The Veronicas were awesome! They were rocking their fabulous style. They made me feel like they appreciated the fact that I was there. They promoted the Red Nights cause very sincerely. The performance was full of the music that we love as well as some terrific surprises. Their talent as songwriters, musicians and entertainers was showcased to the fullest extent. The band was involved and included, even engaging on their own at times. It was really a dynamic show in a dynamite setting. Music is such an important part of being a teenager - I so glad that this was such an awesome first concert for my daughter. Thank you.

The Veronicas always put on a great show. They are beautiful and very talented. I recommend seeing them!

  • Very high-energy!

by Ashy on 7/14/09The Norva - NorfolkRating: 5 out of 5

The Veronicas put on an awesome concert! They sound just as wonderful live as they do on their c.d- I was very impressed! They did a great job of interacting with the crowd and with each other. The only disappointments was the opening band- The Carnies, who were absolutely horrible- and that the concert started 30 minutes late.

  • The Veronicas Rocked It

by MusicFan23 on 7/14/09House of Blues New Orleans - New OrleansRating: 5 out of 5

The Veronicas are extremely talented. Two amazing singers and personalities. Carney and The Pretty Reckless were surprisingly good as well, especially Carney. This was one of the best shows I have ever been to.

  • Veronicas were freak'n awesome

by Horsecrazy04 on 7/14/09House of Blues New Orleans - New OrleansRating: 5 out of 5

The Veronicas did an amazing job...they even came back for on encoure. They played a lot of songs from their new CD but also a few old ones. I liked how they got the audience involved too. There was no assigned seats but you still got a great view.

  • The Veronicas are a MUST see!!

    by allib23 on 7/13/09The Intersection - Grand RapidsRating: 5 out of 5

The performance was unforgetable, I would definitely go see them again in a heartbeat! They played some songs from the past album as well as the current album. The opening bands, Carney and The Art were just ast good! I was able to meet some of them after the show and they were really cool people.

  • Awesome

    by Princess1 on 7/13/09The Intersection - Grand RapidsRating: 4 out of 5

When the Veronica's show started it was worth the wait. We arrived at 4:45 so we could have a great seat when the doors opened at 5:30. Once inside, things went smooth and the first band played. The band was ok but not really my type of music. I was shocked when a second opening band played before the Veronica's (my first time at The Intersection). When The Veronica's took the stage, it was well worth the wait. Their music was awesome and my daughter really enjoyed how they interacted with the fans. The band was so good we hit the t-shirt stand on the way out.

  • The Veronicas are amaaazing!

    by Tipaco on 7/12/09Station 4 - Saint PaulRating: 5 out of 5

The Veronicas put on an amazing show! It was incredibley hot at the venue, but they still put on a great show as if they weren't roasting lol. The other bands were amazing as well, very energetic and kept the crowd going!

  • Average show- exactly like CD

    by something on 7/12/09Station 4 - Saint PaulRating: 3 out of 5

These girls are so cute and lively but their show was just 'ok.' The music sounded exactly like it does on their CD, so much so that I found myself wondering if they were lip singing? Thats either a compliment or a dig I guess :/ Anyways, fun music but not worth it live.

  • The Veronicas

    by shygirl on 7/12/09Station 4 - Saint PaulRating: 4 out of 5

It was a small place to hold a concert in station 4 they should of had more fans going around the place. The sound was really loud. Veronicas were good they sounded like the cd which i thought was a little weird never heard a concert sounding like a cd.They could have played a few more songs to make it last a little bit longer I was some what disappointed in the concert.

  • SWEATY MESS

    by tybluesum on 7/12/09Station 4 - Saint PaulRating: 4 out of 5

Venue was hot, damp, sweaty and claustrophobic. Bands were GREAT. Lots of fun.

  • The Veronicas rock! =)

    by HnDn on 7/12/09Station 4 - Saint PaulRating: 5 out of 5

The Veronicas were amazing live! The only downside to the evening was that it was so hot in Station 4 that I blacked out and almost fainted towards the end of their set. If you go to Station 4, make sure you are dressed for a warm environment! But anyways, The Veronicas rocked & I would love to see them again! =)

  • Good show

    by Zurp on 7/12/09Station 4 - Saint PaulRating: 4 out of 5

The girls were great, the show was awesome, they played all my faves!

  • The Veronicas rocked Saint Paul

    by Rissa on 7/11/09Station 4 - Saint PaulRating: 4 out of 5

i loved everything about the concert except the pole that was like right in front of the stage. i mean you could see everyone, but i barely got a chance to take a picture with both of them in it. but it was still an awesome concert!

  • The Veronica's were awsome

    by Bodycast on 7/11/09Station 4 - Saint PaulRating: 5 out of 5

This is the second time I have seen these girls. They are great in a small venue like Station 4. It was sweaty hot but they still had incredible energy and rocked the house!

  • veronicas!!!

    by bear04 on 7/11/09Station 4 - Saint PaulRating: 5 out of 5

The veronicas were amazing! Have to say though the venue was so hot! No airconditioning so instantly you were sweating. That did put a damper on the concert but it was still so much fun!

  • The Veronicas was entertaining.

    by JJD09 on 7/11/09Station 4 - Saint PaulRating: 5 out of 5

Jess and Lisa kept the show interesting by telling funny stories of their time here, and also by playing a couple acoustic songs. They had great energy and were very fun to watch. They sang very well, and from what I could tell, didn't mess up once. A flawless performance, in my opinion.
