Thank you to everyone that took part in The Thorn, and a huge thank you for coming to Birmingham, AL!! It was not just simply a performance. It was so much more. It was compelling. It was heart-touching. It was life changing!! It helped me understand Jesus so much more clearly, and on a deeper level. Again, thank you. Next time you come to Birmingham, I will be inviting so many people!!!

Awesome reenactment of the story and life life of Jesus delivered in a way that can only be experienced. There’s no way to describe it. I laughed. I cried. I enjoyed it so much. I have so many that wanted to go see it but it was only available 2 days. A must see!
This was the best live performance we have ever seen. It was just a wonderful experience!!!!
Show was good not great I was expecting a bigger more exciting show. Story was great of course, but they had a guy come in and tie up 30 minutes of our time with a sales pitch to sponsor kids for $38 a month in another country. And put everyone on the spot by asking them to raise their hands if they wanted to sponsor a kid. And then he pressured the 3 or 4 people that raised their hands to sign the commitment form right then and there without knowing anything about the organization. We have plenty of hungry kids right here in the US. Personally I think they should stick to the show that I payed $180 for 2 tickets to go see, not to deal with a salesperson.
Wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was so pleased with the performance. A must see!
It was great. The young people did a great job. There was several misquotes of scripture.

The Thorn was a riveting theatrical performance that my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed! It was full of emotion and compassion. The performers did an excellent job! It truly told the story of Jesus from the eyes of John. I am so glad we saw it advertised on Facebook. I hope they return. I would like for my grown children & friends to see it!
Everything about this production was done with excellence. The special effects were amazing and surprising. The music was beyond superb, especially the voice of Crystal Yates...so beautiful and fitting for this emotional performance of what Jesus Christ did for us on the cross and His resurrection. I would recommend anyone to see this production whenever possible but it needs to be age appropriate for your children since the crucifixion part is difficult to watch. I drove 245 miles from Northwest Florida to Birmingham, Alabama to see the Thorn and would do it all over again anytime.

It was a wonderful production. It took you through Genesis and the birth, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. There were times of laughs and times of tears but throughout the production you were transported to walk with the characters as thr story of Jesus was told.
This was truly an amazing show! Very real, biblically sound, and emotional! Would recommend to anyone!
Fantastic!!! So very emotionally moving ! John was a favorite character! The choreography was amazing! So beautiful to reflect on the love the Savior had for us and heartbreaking at the same time ! So we’ll done and Definitely worth seeing!!

It was a beautiful presentation of Jesus' life here on earth.
Loved the narrator. Great performance and visuals. Thought provoking and inspiration. My boyfriend is sparsely versed in The Bible, I have read The Bible cover to cover. He enjoyed the performance and narrative and is interested in knowing more. I was very pleased with the authenticity; the truth, the script, the special performers, choreography, lights and music production was on point. The messages was the mood and i was moved (as many) to tears. I felt so guilty watching the portrayal of The Word. The Cast was authentic and played their individual, one word, humble. Honorable performance and delivery. Moved to tears. My heart ached. I felt the pain of the sin of the world he bore for me to be here watching him endure for His love for me. For He so loved the world! BRAVO!
