  • Happy Birthday Jeff Martin

by Pipsqueeker1 on 10/5/15Hard Rock Casino Vancouver - CoquitlamRating: 5 out of 5

The show was totally awesome!!! And considering it was the singers birthday I believe the band gave more than 200%. The show was great... However as we are starting to be a bit of an older crowd... I think that the venue could have been set up different. There's more than a couple ways to set up seating in the Hard Rock casino Vancouver & having the entire floor being standing room only was not the best choice. The better choice would have been 1/2 "dance floor" & 1/2 tables or seating. I personally had been on my feet all day & I though that would be the seating wold be different. Wrong... So there's my B"ch... The band was TOTALLY AMAZING... but venue could have been better set up.

  • AMAZING show

these guys never cease to put on a fantastic show! the fact that the edges of twilight album was played in its entirety was great in and of itself! i have never been let down by the tea party! i would recommend seeing them live in concert should the opportunity arise!

  • Tea Party better than ever!

by DSMCD on 12/13/14Commodore Ballroom - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

Incredible new album that the guys are out promoting right now. The show consisted of a great mix of new and old favorites. High intensity show and the guys are a top-notch live act. If you've never seen The Tea Party live, do yourself a favor and go. The Commodore Ballroom is one of my favorites venues too, which helped to make this show even more unforgettable.

  • THIS Is What a Rock Show Is!

by ElisabethM on 12/1/14Métropolis - MontrealRating: 5 out of 5

The show was amazing! Really! Pure rock, some classic revisited (Led Zeppelin & Jimi Hendrix), Jeff Martin is so generous! The 3 men are so about music and they give a real show to their fans! Only thing I was disappointed is that we arrived one hour before the beginning of the show and their was no places left on the balcon so we had to stand on the floor of the Metropolis all show long and I'm not tall so I had so much difficulty to see other things than the back of the head of the TALL man in front of me, but it didn't affect my appreciation of the show!

  • Great band

by lashing on 5/28/13Caesers Windsor and Tecumseh - WindsorRating: 5 out of 5

I have seen the Tea Party twice since this reunion and both shows were fantastic. These guys were always superb musicians with interesting songs. They flawlessly play pieces most pop bands simply cannot even comprehend. The bass player is ageless. Great playing, great songs, great show. Completely underated as always so the ticket prices are even cheap. You could pay 10x to see some 70 year olds play the same rehash or see the Tea Party and realize how they are doing what the so called classics cannot even understand.

  • Been too long

by Charos on 12/5/11Hamilton Place Theatre - HamiltonRating: 5 out of 5

I grew up with The Tea Party as one of my all time favorite bands, I had the pleasure of seeing them live probably around 40 times, so you can imagine my disappointment when I learned they were no longer together and my comparative joy when I learned they had gotten back together and begun touring. So it was with a sense of high expectation and excitement I finally got the chance to see these guys in more than 5 years. The band played as flawlessly as ever, save a sight issue with Martin's pedal at one point the instrumental aspect was, as always, mindblowingly impressive. They are always capable of making the songs sound as though more than three musicians are playing at a time, and manage to give a "size" to the music most bands seem to lack live. The one point that I did find somewhat distracting was that Jeff Martin obviously was fighting with a case of laryngitis. At the more harsh points of the songs (for example the screamed "Temptation") he had to resort to getting the audience to help him out. I can understand the frustration he must have felt, being unable to talk is one thing, having to go on stage and belt out songs with no voice is a borderline nightmare. To his credit, with the exceptions of a few shaky spots he managed to pull his vocals through and kept all the melody intact. An impressive feat for anyone who's been on stage trying to sing with laryngitis. All in all, a spectacular return to form, can't wait for the chance to see them again, hopefully with Jeff's voice feeling a bit more back to normal. Kudo's to the band, consummate professionals, most artists would postpone the show or cancel.

  • The Tea Party is back!

Incredible show from an amazing and much-missed band.

Excellent set very interactive with audience, no actual seating on floor but that's very minor. Opening act was good and played very well complemented the music of tea party. Would defiantly make the trip again

Awesome as ever. Very similar show to the one I saw in Brisbane, Australia 9 years ago, but why fix what isn't broken? All the guys seem to be right back into it, which is great to see.

  • The Tea Party is back better than ever

by winkstersue on 8/1/11caesers Windsor - windsorRating: 5 out of 5

I have been a fan of the Tea Party for years, but this is the first time I have seen them live. What a great show!! The vocals were amazing and the light show was first rate. This will go down as one of my favorite concerts!

  • The tea party lacked the fine china...thank god!

by Kgmsquared on 7/31/11The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - WindsorRating: 5 out of 5

I was lucky enough to be a whitness to one of the greatest rock shows I have ever seen. This band truly rocked the house, left nothing on the stage..bravo!

  • Tea Party Rocked

by Zaller on 7/31/11The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - WindsorRating: 5 out of 5

The Tea Party was amazing. So glad they are back together. Jeff Burrows rocked on the drums - was the glue that held it all together! Lighting and staging was outstanding. Come back to Windsor soon! Jeff Martin is a true showman. He was made to be on the stage. What a show!!!

  • Tea Party consistently incredible!

by Tprtgurl on 7/31/11The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - WindsorRating: 5 out of 5

This was my 61st concert for The Tea Party and it was just as good as the rest of them. They played a similar set list as usual but started with Writing s on the wall which was different. Everyone should see this band live at least once! Hope they're back to stay.

  • The Tea Party are amazing live

by freebird1981 on 7/31/11The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - WindsorRating: 4 out of 5

These guys are super talented. Every song was done flawlessly from the vocals to the keyboards to the drums. Jeff' has one of the best live voices i've ever heard, I don't think he was ever off pitch. They also switched instruments numerous times which is amazing to me that these guys can play so many instruments as well as they do. I was just blown away by their performance which I had waited 15 years to see. My only complaint is the venue. If you are on the floor it's not stadium style seating so it's hard to see. It would have been nice to see them in a more intimate setting. Otherwise the show was fantastic!

  • The Tea Party is always great live!!

Besides the heat, The Tea Party rocked the stage. It's really great to see them back together and touring again!! The Sound Academy is a great sounding venue and I have been there a number of times. LONG LIVE THE TEA PARTY!!
