Great show!
by Onebyone on 12/11/23Last concert of the year ended with a bang! Banger after banger with some breaks to go to the bathroom. Their energy is too much for HOB SD, so lucky to be able to see this band in a small venue.

British Rock band, The Struts--named from an offhand comment about their unbridled stage presence-- have earned a global reputation as a must-see live act. The band, comprised of lead vocalist Luke Spiller, guitarist Adam Slack, bassist Jed Elliott, and drummer Gethin Davies, was formed in Derby England in 2012. Bursting onto the scene with "Could Have Been Me", they have since released three albums (including collaborations with heavy hitters like Robbie Williams, Kesha, Tom Morello, and Def Leppard's Joe Elliott and Phil Collen), earned the No. 1 spot on the Spotify Viral Top 50, appeared on shows like The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel Live!, garnered more than 850M on-demand streams and sold out shows across the globe. Praised for their onstage swagger and musicianship, they have opened for The Rolling Stones, Foo Fighters and Guns N' Roses, played major festivals like Lollapalooza and Governors Ball as well as headlined their own world-wide tours. Now signed to Big Machine Label Group, the mesmerizing rockers have released their new anthem-rocker single, "Fallin' With Me."

This night was exceptional over crowded. I have been here many times and it was disappointing. The upstairs was closed off which made for miserable for the floor.
SO MUCH FUN! It was energetic, sexy and awesome! Our whole group had a blast! The venue (Ace of Spades) was not great…but the band was incredible!
Easily one of the best concerts I've been to. Their stage presence is unparalleled -- definitely one of the most engaged audiences I've seen (especially for a band that isn't selling out stadiums yet) -- coupled with an innate fire on stage that keeps you engaged at every millisecond. And they're so nice off-stage too! Wonderful first meet-and-greet. I haven't shut up about the show since I left -- I can't wait until next time!
The Struts are a true Rock-n-Roll band. A perfect blend of UK/US. The energy is off the charts from start to finish, and they never let crowd slow down.
The Struts themselves sounded amazing and put on a stellar show. the venue was way OVER sold , way beyond capacity and made the concert very unpleasant and difficult to enjoy. This should have been a 2 night concert
The Fillmore SF (West) is an iconic San Francisco venue that always lives up to its billing...well run, tons of history in the place and on the walls. And to see The Struts there, one of the best live bands touring today, was A+ all around...even opening bands were solid, especially Mac Saturn.
Any struts show is the best show anyone can go to.
Fantastic venue and epic show! Not a bad seat in the house. The opening acts were amazing and The Struts have only gotten better-WOW!! We can’t wait to see them again!!
This is how rock show should be done. The Struts are a amazing rock band and I cant wait to see them again. They also have a great new album that just came out.
This is the first time I had seen the struts perform. They were incredible from the minute they stepped foot on stage. Great energy. Great songs. Incredible guitar riffs. Love the rapport between the band. Can’t wait to see them again. Especially loved when there were some piano solos too.
How is this band not headlining Chase Center? For almost two hours, the Struts had every single person in the room singing every word at the top of their lungs. Pretty awesome to see and be a part of at a Fillmore show. Complete adoration. Of course, the band brought it to warrant that feeling. This was our sixth time seeing them and was undoubtedly the best. It was our first since Covid. Weirdly the last show we saw before the Covid shutdown was the Struts & Star Crawler a week before the world changed. Well, someone has really taken their skills to the next level. Gone were the obvious influence of Queen, the Stones and Aerosmith, only the Struts now remain. They were fully realized from start to finish. Now please someone make them into the Arena Rockers they deserve to be!
I can't believe they aren't playing in larger venues. They are so good!
The Struts burned the stage up! They hit it running and never let up for a sec. Seen Luke do 3-4 costume changes in other shows, but not this show. Balls to the wall!
The Struts ALWAYS put on an amazing show! They never disappoint!!!
Not only do they have serious musical chops; lyrics, music, lead singer with an incredible voice, but they are insanely entertaining. They completely connect with the audience and give crazy energy from the first to the last song. I saw them initially at Bottlerock where they also rocked the main stage. I’m a new, huge fan and can’t believe they aren’t selling out stadiums!
This concert was definitely one of my top favorites of the year! The sound was crystal clear and what a talented group of sexy men! This amazing band really brought the energy and love to San Francisco! I can’t get enough and look forward to the next time!
Saw the show at the Moore Theater in Seattle. The band sounded, looked, were great! Our 20s son was with us and commented what a rock star Luke Spiller is immediately on him coming on stage. Fun night!
The show at the Pageant was fantastic. They were spot on and seemed to have enjoyed the venue. Not a bad seat in that place and they ate it up. Piano playing at the end was great and the guitarist, from the opening act fit right in for the finale! Great job everyone!
Dancing, cheering, clapping for the complete show. Great performance.
