Amazing reunion show!! They still have it! Played all songs from Say It Like You Mean It and a few extra.
One of the best shows I've ever been to in my lifetime. The 5 month wait in between when I first bought tickets to the actual show date was well worth the wait! Hearing one of my all-time favorite albums being played from start to finish was something special and something to behold. You've had to been there to understand the magnitude of what went down that night. Simply unforgettable night that I'll remember for years to come!
incredible. ken was smiling the whole time because everyone knew every word.
the show was great! all the bands were amazing, and sounded great. the security guards weren't very good but the show itself was amazing.
Doors at 7pm and it wasnt that crowded that was nice and The Starting Line is great live and always fun to watch. The one downside to this show was the 3 opening bands were not that good and they played for WAYYY to long, it was past 10pm before Kenny even came on stage. I pay to see the headliner not the other guys, so who wants to wait there for 3 hours before they come on stage?
I was so amped and after who I was going with changed 3 times, I must say the night was great! Perfect atmosphere and great room. Everything sounded great and couldn't have had more fun. Getting to see my favorite song of all time live years later made my year! Will be back to HOB again!
Basically everything that was The Almost and everything that was The Starting Line was phenomenal.
This show was a 10-year anniversary for Say It Like You Mean It. Not only was the music incredible (as always), but the band was still full of life and energy -- even if they've aged and gained hella weight (said with love). Super sucky part: Everyone knows crowd surfing is not allowed at the HOB, Sunset. Duh. There's nowhere for anyone to go. There isn't a railing, there front isn't packed with security guards, it's just open (wood) space. So, if you're going to crowd surf, beware of the after effects.... like falling on your head on the wood floors. Unfortunately, someone did and was knocked unconscious or something, so the band had to take like a 25 minute pause, which was somewhat annoying. Overall, the anniversary show was just as great as the other anniversary shows like NFG and TBS.
Totally worth waiting 10 years to see these guys. Great show, packed house, everyone singing!
Show was great, but not as good as Sunday night's show. There were only 2 encore songs!
Awesome awesome awesome. Same old boy with the same sound. It was so fun.
I was a huge starting line fan in high school. "Say it like you mean it" was one of my favorite albums. This show was everything 15 year old me wanted and more!! I couldn't stop smiling before, during or after the show. It's always great to see bands with such high energy! I think I'm still on a concert high! If you get the opportunity to see them on this tour, they won't disappoint!
The "Say It Like You Mean It" show definitely lived up to my expectations! TSL sounded amazing (night one, night two was a little rough!) and you could tell they were loving every minute of it!
EXCELLENT! So good to see them play that album one last time.
Great band. Great show. I definitely hope that they come around more often.
This was my 5th time seeing The Starting Line over the last few years, and as always they were amazing. Their sound is great live, and the concert was a great time. The lead singer Kenny is always entertaining to listen to when he chats in between songs. I've seen many of my favorite bands live, but none of them are ever as fantastic as TSL, they never let me down.
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! PLEASE BRING THE STARTING LINE BACK SOON!!! =)
The starting line was AWESOME!! I'm soo happy they came back
The Starting Line played an awesome set with the perfect mix of older and newer songs including their brand new song "Luck." I wish there were more shows like this at Starland Ballroom in Sayerville, NJ.
