    Best concert of my life

by Lancelott on 12/12/09Emerald Queen Casino - Tacoma

What an honor and thrill to see The Spinners in person. They played my favorites and some songs I never heard them play. Terrific two of them are original Spinners. I hope to see them perform once more some day. Now when I play my Spinners CD, I will remember this special event.

    Spinners were great

by drdaddo on 12/12/09Emerald Queen Casino - Tacoma

Outstanding backup band; though no horns. Great energy and good dancing. Two original Spinners on the tour. All five voices were excellent, both as soloists and as an ensemble.!

The Spinners put on a great show for two hours!

by KEEBE on 9/28/09MotorCity Casino Hotel - Detroit

I was very impressed with the band and the way that the Spinners sang throughout the show. The three new members had their own sound but did not detract from the songs of the sixties, seventies and eighties. The two remaining members still have the voices to perform those songs. I was gratified that they sang for two hours. They had family members in the audience from both the living and deceased members which made the evening more memorable. A recommended treat.

    excellent

by susie62 on 9/27/09MotorCity Casino Hotel - Detroit

I didn't recognized j j initially . The new singer had a tremendous voice. The spinners put on a show that was worth more the price of the ticket. Vegas shows are more expensive and not as good.

    The Spinners were fabulous!

by MsC3 on 9/26/09MotorCity Casino Hotel - Detroit

The Spinners gave an outstanding performance. It was hard to belive they were not the entire original group. The choreography was smooth and the songs performed kept you dancing in your seat or standing on your feet.

    The Spinners were GRAND!

by peachygirl09 on 7/23/09Frederick Brown, Jr. Amphitheater - Peachtree City

My husband and I had a great time seeing the Spinners at the Frederick Brown Amphitheater in Peachtree City. The evening performance started out on time at 8:00pm with a local group which was surprising good. They sang some classic R&B numbers which the entire crowd enjoyed. The Spinners came on after about 45 minutes and WOOWOO 'd the crowd with many of their classic hits. There were two of the original members still performing with the group of five. Their band sounded great, with a very full and professional sound, and the singers looked and sounded GREAT!!! We are very glad we attended!

    Surprisingly Great Show

by SpecialJ on 7/20/09Frederick Brown, Jr. Amphitheater - Peachtree City

When I purchased my tickets all I knew was that I loved the Spinners. I couldn't remember all of the songs they recorded but I did have that warm and fuzzy feeling recallling many hours listening to their albums when I was young and in love or just after a break-up (smile). I went with my sister and a friend and we just loved the show. It started out slow and with each song they sang the momentum escalated until everyone just stayed on their feet, danced and sang along. There are still two original Spinners and three "youngins". The new tenor (Big Sexy) filled the old shoes just fine. The bass singer had that old school bass voice that you just don't hear anymore. We didn't have to endure songs we'd never heard from a new album and something just to fill in the time. It was one hit after another. We loved it. We just loved it.

by GrandmaSam on 7/20/09Frederick Brown, Jr. Amphitheater - Peachtree City

Probably the best concert I've attended in years. It really took me back and rekindled some fond memories. Impressed with the way Henry and Bobby still had the moves!

    Spinners were fantastic!

by gueye1 on 7/20/09Frederick Brown, Jr. Amphitheater - Peachtree City

The Spinners performed most of their hit songs. It would have been better if the performance was longer (only one hour). The crowd was small and seemed to enjoy the show but did not get into the music much. There were two original band members left and the newbies were great. One of the original singers need to practice more or retire as his voice is not as strong as it once was. Overall, I enjoyed the show!

The Spinners - Still Spinning Great Tunes !!!

by Charliemcga on 7/20/09Frederick Brown, Jr. Amphitheater - Peachtree City

"The Fred" in Peachtree City is one of the best places to see an outdoor concert because of the great sound system and the design of the amphitheatre. Chastain Park, in Buckhead (Atlanta, GA) can never touch the quality of sound or better seating arrangement of "The Fred" . The Spinners band was great, the three younger singers were outstanding and their dancing is fabulous. I'm amazed at how good the two original members are still singing and dancing.
