The Saw Doctors were great on Saturday night at the Boston House of Blues. A very high level show, it seems the band genuinly enjoys playing Boston and their enthusiasm showed it.
Gandalf Murphy & the Slambovian Circus of Dreams started the show and they where great. They really got the crowd reved up. Then the Saw Doctors they where absolutely amazing. I loved the show they played all there great songs and alot of new tunes. Awesome job!!!
Great show as usual...Saw Docs never disappoint!! Packed house enjoyed a solid 2 hrs 20 mins show
Great show, played for over two hours. Definitely got our money's worth.
I hadn't seen the Saw Doctors live for about 10 years. They are still amazing! They played lots of favorites like N17, Green and Red of Mayo, Clare Island, and others, with a few newer songs mixed in. Every song was upbeat and fun. House of Blues was a good venue for this show (although I think I prefer outdoor venues).
what a band to get the crowd going, they were electric. Shame about the usher in our section though, he kept bothering people telling them to stop dancing and wanting to check their tickets. A mighty night though.
The band did a great job of transporting energy from the stage to the audience. I loved the new songs intermingled with the older ones. The boys sure do enjoy themselves up there. The only down side is that I waited too long to buy the tickets and we were on the third floor in the standing only section. The bouncers worked hard at making us uncomfortable about where we were standing.
The Saw Doctors were awesome. Just when you thought they were done they sang another song!!! The big surprise was the Gandalf Murphy group. The were great!!!!
The Saw Doctors concert was terrific as always. They always have the crowd up and rocking. They even incorporated some of their new songs from their newly released CD. The TLA allows the audience to really enjoy themselves and dance to the music from the very talented musicians. The Saw Doctors themselves were enjoying the crowd as well.
as usual, the boys brought their "A" game mixing the old with the new seamlessly. the house was packed and rocking from the start. davey's voice seemed a little hoarse but to no matter as he sang as strong as always. to any one who is not familiar with the band or their music i reccomend buying their cd "sing a powerful song" a compilation of earlier works. first time at the house of blues and was impressed by the operation. continued success to both saw doctors and house of blues.
Saw Doctors were excellent. They sounded great. The venue was excellent as well.
Non-stop fun a great venue The warm up act was even good (a nice change). I love it when a band hangs out with the fans pre-show.
We had a fantastic time at the Filmore. My group of family and friends numbered 20. some of them had been to the concert the night before in Philly. We have seen the Saw Doctors many many times and in many different cities! Including in Galway on New Years Eve a few years ago. Each show is better than the next! We love the Saw Doctors and would love to hire them for a private performance for us. All the McGoverns of Philly, Baltimore and Arizona
Was an amazing show as always! Saw Doctors put on one hell of a show.
The Saw Doctors are always great but last night at the Fillmore was at another level all together. I recommend highly that you see this fine band in concert. You get so much for your money!
They are great preformers!! It was a brilliant show
The Saw Doctors were super entertaining. They Played all the hits and some new surprises.
This was the first I've seen the band in 2 years & they didn't disappoint! About 5-6 new songs were interspersed with old favorites. Davey, Leo & Anthony were in fine form, and the (new to me) drummer & keyboardist were great additions to the band. I had forgotten how after one of their shows, not only am I hoarse, but my face hurts from the constant smiling!
Excellent show. These guys are true professionals. Most bands putting on a 2 hour show gets boring after awhile. Saw Doctors keep you moving the entire time. Watch out for the Irish they are there in drones.
