Fantastic show, it was a long wait for the boys to come back to the US. Well worth the wait. They sounded fantastic & had a ton of energy. Awesome 👏 show, great night.
The best show I have ever been to. They were fantastic. Great show, great fun. Absolutely cannot wait till I see the again
The Saw Doctors finally came back to NYC and thry did not disappoint! They sounded as great as ever and belted out their songs with energy and spirit! Everyone in the crowd was having a good time. We love you saw Doctors please don’t wait so long to come back!
There is nothing in the world like a Saw Doctors concert! See them any time, any place. It's a magical experience! That said, the Hammerstein Ballroom venue left a lot to be desired. It was overcrowded, under staffed, and hot as blazes.
Fantastic show by a fabulous group. The Saw Doctors didn’t disappoint even after 10 years. Venue was okay. We were in the Balcony, so it wasn’t too bad. The venue definitely needs a better AC System.
Great show. Great Band High energy the entire show Can't wait to see them in Ireland again
Title tells it all....had open seats in Balcony 2 which gave clear view to the band. But, when fans in their 20s cover their ears due to the acoutics and sound level then you know something is wrong. The balcony speakers are just not needed. The sound was ovely loud and distorted Last saw the Saw Doctors in Atlantic city 2013, what agreat show with fantastic sounding musicians. This time it was scratchy and loud. Too bad
Fantastic show! Venue just OK. The band was very generous in giving us 2.5 hours of fun.
This show is still running through my head days later. I’ve seen The Saw Doctors many times, and anxiously awaited this one in NYC. My expectations did not even come close….amazing from the first note of their Pink Panther entrance, to the last chorus of Meet Again. Hope it’s not another 10 years until we “meet again”.
The Saw Doctors made a triumphant return to New York after being away for a number of years from touring in the United States. The lines of people waiting to get were buzzing and many wore shirts from previous band tours. The appeal of this group is remarkable; the audience ranged from people in their teens and 20s and those who have never grown old. This group has a loyal following in New York. We’ve attended many of their concerts in New York in different venues, as well as Cape Cod and they’ve never disappointed . A sold out Hammerstein ballroom ( they sold out in a matter of 15 minutes) was electric with anticipation as they waited for the guys to take stage. The crowd roared with delight as they opened up with Exhilarating Sadness. A few songs later they launched into Tommy K and the audience was a picture of waving arms being led by the band. The melody of Clare Island captured the essence of summer particularly with the superb saxophone of Anthony. A few tunes later, the Green and Red of Mayo created even more excitement. When they got to the Joyce Country Caeli Band, the floor was alive with dancers. Then when they sang the N 17, the entire audience joined in a massive sing along. The encore featured I Used to Love Her and the always spectacular Hay Wrap with the beautiful I Hope We Meet Again, a fitting song to build on Leo Moran’s promise that they will be back! Davy Carton, Leo Moran, Anthony Thistlethwaite were in fine form as well as all of the other Band members. As many of the people said, their concerts are some of the best they have ever attended. They are a rock band whose songs resonate with all. The audience was on their feet throughout the concert often joining in with the melodies. As we left the show, one person summed it up well: Their concerts are unique in that every person participating leaves the hall with “Exhilarated Sadness” that the show is over but with the definite anticipation that we’ll see them again.
What an awesome night!! The Saw Doctors - after a long touring hiatus -rocked the Hammerstein Ballroom!! Their voices never sounded better and the crowd was singing and dancing along!! Great energy and an absolutely fun time! Loved the Doctors and the venue!
They sounded as good as they ever were. Tremendous energy and had the crowd singing all night.
Fun Time!! The Saw Doctors were awesome. a little bummed that the venue ran out of Guinness before the band even started ....
Delighted to see the Saw Doctors after a 10+ years break! So much fun seeing them play again. They were tight and the playlist was a great assortment of their songs. Hope to see them again!!
SAW DOCTORS SHOW IN NYC ON 7/7/23 WAS SIMPLY WONDERFUL!!! GREAT TO HAVE DAVY, LEO, ANTHONY AND SOME NEW PLAYERS SOUND SO GREAT.
The Saw Doctors remain consistently great after a 10 year absence from playing in the USA! They maintained a high energy level throughout the show which was infectious! Let’s hope they come back and play more shows! Manhattan Center / Hammerstein Ballroom is an excellent venue!
Great Concert lads. Too long since last one. The only thing was the building was oversold and bar service was terrible. Maybe a bigger venue would have been better.
Awesome Show! The sound was great and the band were in great form.
Saw Doctors put on a great performance. Full of energy and never disappoint!
